ANNOUNCEMENT: NEW INFORMATION BOARD

Since the prior Info Board had long since gone to a second page, which makes it hard to read we have decided to create a new one with a different layout.

If you find any broken link about this game, please report and let us know by contacting us. We will add working link if there is any alternative. You may also report any game bugs or problems about games directly to developers from their websites.

I would like to sort by comments. Looking for an old game which I cannot remember the title :)
Took hours to play....hundreds of comments.
Thanks for this site EG24

Do remember who made it???

No. I think had help from Dr Fou. Title screen was black/white mansion. Game was animated color. Many rooms with secret passageways/portals between floors. Just remember was fun game and posters everywhere. My guess 8 or 9 years ago.

Rusty Lake, Tesshie, many of those or maybe it was Mustick ( spelled that wrong) LOL. If you remember anything more, we can help more. Been here since 2010. So somebody will come up with something.

And DR Fou was a self made game he just let you make up your own game. He just provided the platform.

I wonder if that might have been a submachine game - lots of portals

Sue, I am reying to think of a same sort of game which I played for hours. It was some high building with an elevator in the middle where you could access some rooms and some not depending on what you did in another room.
I remember me and a French girl came all the way through and got totally stuck at the last code, which was actually really simple. :)
No idea what it was called, but it's the game I enjoyed more than any other I can remember.

Yes may have Mustick( I never can spell that) made them much fun!

Oh and btw Sue, we set up this new IB so that comments can be given seperate with each announcement.
Maybe, for these questions we could use the feedback post.
Or even create a new item? Something like "Do you Remember ...."?

Mateusz Skutnik

Thank you Annaby LOL What is this post for so I don't get the wrong idea?

lol bandy - just to refresh memories :) Maybe the name will ring a bell with Sue

Thanks all :)

Not sure having a comment board is a good idea. Do you want people to complain? Anyway, I love this site! Thank you.

Actually we learn a lot from complaints :-)

The only time we don't like complaints is when people insult other people, or when someone uses offensive language...things like that.

I wonder if Sue is referring to Dr. Stanley's House (1 or 2).

@siobhan...I have replayed Dr Stanley and sequel but no, those aren't it.

There was another game,Sue, set in a house with many rooms whose starting position varied from game to game. It was Japanese and, as I recall, it garnered something like 400 comments or more. For some reason I have the word 'dream' as part of its title, but searching here hasn't as yet found the game.

@sue: This game does not have a black and white mansion, but there are black and white rooms...and 1582 comments and almost 5 stars. Probably not the one you're looking for, but it was posted by EG24 in 2009, and lots of people liked it. http://www.escapegames24.com/2009/06/dream-house-escape.html

Another good game. This is good, others will know to replay these.

Thanks, Zoe, that's definitely the one to which I was referring.

@Siobhan's sister - Yes...your comment gave me a clue to look up that game :-)

Hello there! Thanks for tending this site! Two questions: 1.)Why am I suddenly getting "save error" or "save fail"? I've always been able to save games. 2.) What will happen to all the other amazing flash games? And to this site?

I highly recommend the Loom series by Akarino-Arika!

Prob will replay them, been a while...thanks :)

Is it possible to have categories that separate the decent games from the rest of the utter crap? ie: G4K/Monkey Go Happy so called games. To save having to trawl through the crap to get to a decent game.

according to whose taste :)

I like MGH and dislike G4K

The better developers just aren't around anymore.

Whatever did happen to Federico Rutenberg of Esklavos fame? At one point, you said he was no longer developing new games. His games were so very beautiful and innovative.

Does anyone know why I can't save games anymore?
Thanks for helping.

@Firefly

I don't really know, but I can try and find out for you. Which browser do you use?

FireFly, if you are using FireFox it might be due to a higher level of sandbox security. I recently fixed another problem by setting is from 3 to 2.
Since this requires changing the config of FF, which can damage your FF installation I rather not give the exact procedure online. Using it is at your own risk.
If you want me to give it to you please send a mail by using the Contact button and I'll be happy to help you. When mailing please give me any information about the browser you are using that you think might be helpful.

Gamershood games don't appear to work in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Opera.

@Firefly

The problem with autosave is browser related. Worked fine in Chrome, but not at all in FireFox. The previous version had some more issues with Flash. After upgrading to the latest version (66.0.1) autosave is working again.

Escape Game Lands and Wild Harmony Studio websites are both parked (i.e. expired or for sale).

Anyone remember April 1st 2012? When Yalcin announced that EG24 had been sold to Zynga? Said you could still play the games but had to use "credits" to play. Got us all good.

But on the same date was a good Robamimi game called Fake Escape. Seems appropriate for a Replay. The Eg24 link takes a few clicks to work so here's a good direct one http://robamimi.biz/?page=games/fake/fake.php

Janet - I certainly do remember that April 1st!
Thanks for the Robabmimi suggestion - a Robamimi is always a pleasure. 2 replays have already been posted today but tomorrow is close enough. Meanwhile, I've replaced the link.
