after using pencil on paper i went to photocopier (?) and when I pressed on numbers I got the same thing on the grey square

i've tried everything on everything, clicking all round... wish I knew what the black picture with grey figures says... and the 2 discs stuck together say look away way wise boy... hmmm
Can someone tell me what the 2 discs are? I don't know where they are and I feel like I've clicked everywhere.
Have pencil, paper with code, and tape. Used paper code on copier and same code showed up.

they are to the right of the drawers
then we stuck them with tape
I keep thinking it has something to do with the sofa bed or the picture but can't get anything to work....frustrating!

not yet... I've tried scribbling on it, sticking it to the wall... nothing. and i'm very curious about the green sofa and the table next to it... we haven't used it yet

seems that the do-not-disturb comes off if you back off the screen
when I used th $ on fax I got purple sheet w/ writing and I can't take it. Also error code on machine. hmm...
how do you use the money on it? my note wont go on the photocopier machine
I got some weird purple Chinese fax back on the machine
select fax # note and click 0 to get # on grey screen then put money in the back where paper goes just like the do not disturb sign. Then I pressed the green button and it zoomed me out. Zoomed back in and saw purple...something and *error03* on screen.

@Koralle Me too! I want to get the purple paper and use it on the dictionary. Have you noticed the exclamation points when you click on the second blue book? I want it. I want it to move the bookcase or something cool like that.

probably this is irrelevant... but when clicking on the light green books, on the 2nd one you get a 1 in a circle, and on the next one you get a 2...

Ok - I used the cds to look at the painting at the top of a pole there is a note written in Chinese
oh? maybe I'm seeing things... but I tried it again and strangely enough the numbers are still there... ahhh I want out of here!!! Language barrier is a problem in this one

@Koralle It appeared b/c the hint on the painting was to sleep "again tomorrow" like try again tomorrow. You used the door sign on the sofa. Sign may have said "sleeping" or something, and then voila!

@Graham did the screen go dark? Also, try flipping the sign around in inventory. It mattered which side on the fax so it may also matter here.
Graham I know that i went around the room, then clicked the couch open , then clicked the cushions/pillows and the screen blacked out. ...
then I clicked the bed again into a sofa and backed out and on the small square table there was a glistening gold key
It goes dark and I have flipped it around....very strange - must be something else I haven't done.

@Graham It does go dark. huh. Weird. You're the one that found the note in the painting so you've done that, the fax machine, wait did you do all of the fax machine til you got the purple paper?
Maybe I missed it the first time I slept and then moved around the room and now it's gone...oh well...

Yes I got the purple fax, saw the note in painting, pulled out sofa slept and then nothing...trying again real fast to see if I missed the key

Ok - I just did it again and slept, saw the key, then went back and slept again and it was gone....little glitch I suppose. Oh well - I will take that drink now - thanks again all!

The Esc Walkthrough:
1 ~ As soon as the game starts click on the black picture which is near the door. When you have a closer view of the picture click on it again and get the money. Click on the picture once again and come out of the screen.
2 ~ Click on the bottom middle of the door and get the "DO NOT DISTURB" sign.
3 ~ Come out of the screen and go right. Now you will see a cabinet and a book shelf. Click on the right side of the book shelf and get the piece of paper. Come out of the screen.
4 ~ Now click on the back right side of the cabinet and get the two CD'S
5 ~ Come out of the screen.
6 ~ Click on the top drawer and get the pencil.
7 ~ Click on the bottom drawer and get the tape.
8 ~ Click on the piece of paper in you inventory and click about item. Click on the pencil and then click on the paper. Now there will be a code on the paper.
9 ~ Click on the fax machine which is on top of the cabinet.
10 ~ When you have a closer look of the fax machine click on the paper in you inventory and then click about item. Now close the paper view and click the Zero on the fax machine. The code of the paper will come on the machine.
11 ~ Now click the "Do Not Disturb" sign and put it in the fax machine (Put it in the white space).
12 ~ Now when the "Do Not Disturb" sign is inside click it again and it will turn around and then click the blue button on the machine.
13 ~ You will be out of the screen. Click on the fax machine again and now repeat the same but this time put the money instead of the "Do Not Disturb" sign. Then press the blue button. You will be out of the screen again.
14 ~ Click on the fax machine again. Now there will be a blue paper in the machine. click the blue paper and come out of the screen.
15 ~ Select the CDS in your inventory and click about item. Then click the tape and then the cds again. The cds will be stuck together.
16 ~ Now face the blue wall which has got a landscape.
17 ~ Click on the picture. You will see a code, click it. If it is hard for you to see then zoom the picture. It's a very tiny white spot.
18 ~ Click the cds in your inventory and click that spot.
19 ~ You will see the code.
20 ~ Come out of the screen and go to the couch.
21 ~ If you click on the couch the bed will come out. Click on the top front part of the couch and the bed will come out.
22 ~ Now click on the seat of the couch and it's time to take a nap.
23 ~ The screen will go black and you will wake up after a second. Put the bed back inside. To put it back inside click the part that we got out. Dont forget that if you sleep more than once you wont get the key..
24 ~ When you wake up there will be a key on top the the side table that is beside the couch.
25 ~ Take that key click the door, then the key and you are out of the room.
