janobano, there is a stew you can make that completely restores their health, if that would help... it is two of the light purple flowers and one orange one
ash323, you have to build a dam. you have to have the second engineering and drag a master scientist there were the river flows into the shallow pond or where all the dry soil meets the river. I don't remember.

qball, are you sure you have the level three engineering and the level three exploration? after you have those you should be able to just drag a villager there and they will clear it or something. i found a website that has like tips and stuff and how to solve all the puzzles. it is http://www.jakeludington.com/game_on/20070319_virtual_villagers_2_the_lost_children_tips_tricks_and_cheats.html, it is really helpful.

I'm having trouble uncovering the ancient ruins. I looked online at several tip sites, and most of them say this:
Puzzle 10 requires Level 3 of both Engineering Tech and Exploration Tech. Drag a villager to the ancient covered floor in the southeast part of the village and they will begin uncovering the site.
I've done that, and nothing. I tried putting esteemed elders there, master scientists, master builders, even master farmers. They won't uncover it. I just get a message saying they're confused and more research may be necessary.
I've bought all tech points except for level 3 Science and level 3 Culture. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance.
-
Yeah, done all of the puzzles.... got totems, have heaps of food and tech points etc. etc.
I don't think there is an actual ending to this game. The closest I found to it was if you click on the gong of wonder. It brings up a message with it's own special piccy.
If there is supposed to be an "end", can someone let me know

#8 - Remove vines covering the wall on the east side of the village. Get Level 3 Culture Tech and be sure to complete Puzzle #4 before dragging a villager to the vine-covered wall, the villager will begin cutting away the vines.
... I have Level 3 Culture tech and I have completed puzzle #4. Can some one please help me?
-
I see someone has already asked this question, but I didn't see any one answer. I was wondering if you can get past 50 elders. I figure you can because I am rank 65, but I can't figure it out. I have completed everything. I have 50 elders and have a lot that should be elders but are not. I have some that have master 4 and are not. Also I was wondering if any one knows how many recipes there are. I have 18 and was rank 1, but it just changed to 2. Thanks for the help!
-
I played for almost 2 days straight, and when I put it on half time, and went to bed, everyone died but a 4 year old.
I have the following puzzles completed:
1,2,4,5,9,15
I know what I did wrong... I didn't make a scarecrow. But I didn't have a Master yet, and I had to get some sleep...I was gone 6 hours and the game was on half time.
Should I just start over? She can't repopulate on her own....
-
I've seen this asked a couple of times, but I have not seen a response. After you've solved all 16 puzzles and collected all the collections, what happens? I have almost 6 million tech points, over 200,000 food, a gazillion esteemed elders (only 50 totems, though), 115 villagers, etc., etc., etc., but nothing special has happened. Is there anything I need to do for a grand finally or is this it? If so, this is very disappointing.
-
After you've collected all beetles, butterflies, shells, OR stones, you're population increases by 5 for each. You have to actually breed you're villagers in order to get there, they don't breed on their own, unless you have selected some parents, then they breed on their own.
In order to get twins or triplets, you have to have all three levels of medicine. Then twins and triplets randomly happen on their own when you breed.
-
hey i have put 4 people on clearing the mosaic. I only put 4 on it b/c i need 3 master builders to get the crate open and i have biult all of the huts and any buildings possible but they are clearing the mosaic reallly slowly adn i have it on 2x. Is there anything i can do or does it just go this slow? i have left it going for two days adn they are only at 11 percent.
-
can someone pretty please help me... i am doing the flower puzzle... i have sent my master Resercher to one of the flowers and she has Studied it.. then went to the Research table... will she carry on to research that flower or do i need to keep sending her back to the flower until it is done??
also can you tell me when research is Complete on a flower will it still say Strange Flower? so i know which ones i have and havent done???
thanks

How many totems can you get I have alot of villagers who have became masters in 3 or more skills that are not becoming elders. I do have 51 totems already but I was wondering if that is all you can receive. Also how many stews are they I have found 14 but cannot seem to find any new ones. I have completed all the puzzles and collections and now just trying to keep this game fun for me. So any comments on the stews and totems would be appreciated.
-
BriCinWhitlow:
I seem to only be able to get 115 villagers. I have all collections - I think that my 50 totems is tied to that. I can't get any more esteemed elders. There's about 56 combinations of herbs, 18-19 special stews.
Stew 4-4-4 is very harmful. If you're elder heavy, they might all eat the harmful stew, clear some room for more babies. Just sayin'.
4-4-5 and 4-4-6 makes villagers very sick. I have had one guy keep eating, and another keep healing to build that one up as a doctor.
-
I'm sorry. By "4-4-5", what I mean, is starting at the top/left, you have 4 flowers at the top of the map, 2 at the bottom. 4 would be the black string of flowers above the pool.
Has anyone gotten triplets with 114 people to get 117 villagers? Have the people with 51 elders gotten 2 at the same time?
-
I've had to restart Villagers 2 at least 3 or 4 times now because all my villagers keep dying. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I start someone off fishing & once the algae appears & I have enough tech points I put them into Farming so that my farmer can gather coconuts. Then I wait for the tech points to accumulate again so I can put it into building in order to enable me to build the dam. By the time all that is completed, my villagers are dead. Any comments or suggestions?

General Virtual Villagers 2: The Lost Children Tips
Solving the Puzzles
- The 16 puzzles require a combination of skills in order to solve. You'll need a certain level of village technology, exploration skills, farming knowledge, and in some cases other puzzles completed prior to completing another puzzle. This list of tips provides clues for solving each of the puzzles - there are spoilers here, so don't read them if you want to be surprised.
Puzzle #1 - Build a fire in the fire pit by dragging a villager to the pile of dry wood in the southwest part of the village. After there's wood in the fire pit, have them find some dry grass west of the coconut trees. After both grass and wood are in the fire pit, drag a villager to the pit so they light the fire. The supply will need to be restocked periodically our your fire will go out.
Puzzle #2 - Build a dam to route water from the stream to a suitable farming location. After getting Level 2 Engineering, drag a villager to the rocks in the middle of the lower end of the stream. As long as you have the Engineering Tech, you will see a message about building a dam.
Puzzle #3 - Build a scarecrow to protect the crops from birds by dragging a Master Farmer to the twisted wood and vines located in the northern corner of the village (by cemetary, in front of purple rose). You'll need to bring supplies back to the farm area twice in order to get enough supplies to complete the scarecrow. If you don't finish construction on the scarecrow, birds will eat your crops.
Puzzle #4 - Make cutting tools to remove overgrown vegetation around the village. After acquiring Exploration Tech Level 2, drag a Master Scientist to the northern part of the village to the rocks by the twisted wood & vines/purple rose. The sharp rock & wood for handle will be discovered - two trips will be required to make special tools.
Puzzle #5 - Master six plants located around the village. You will know each plant is mastered when a message appears on screen. Starting with the odd-looking plant just left of the very dry grass by the coconut trees, move clockwise toward the purple rose looking flower between the thorns and rocks. Next is the light purple/lavender daisy flower at the north end of the graveyard, followed by the black flowers on the vine/branch by the waterfall. Proceed to the reddish flowers south of the dam (bottom left hand corner of village). Close with the orangish-red flower at the south edge of the village.
Puzzle #6 - You must create the Esteemed Elder, which requires having one villager become a master in three skills. A totem is created in the village.
Puzzle #7 - Remove the algae in the ocean caused by over fishing. After achieving Farming Tech Level 3, take a Master Farmer or Master Scientist to the pond where they will gather algae eating fish used to re-populate the ocean. You will have unrestricted fishing when enough fish are returned to the sea.
Puzzle #8 - Remove vines covering the wall on the east side of the village. Get Level 3 Culture Tech and be sure to complete Puzzle #4 before dragging a villager to the vine-covered wall, the villager will begin cutting away the vines.
Puzzle #9 - Make stews for your villagers. Exploration Tech Level 2 is required, along with a cauldron from the wood pile and mastery of at least one of the special plants from Puzzle #5.
How to make a stew:
1 - Place a villager on the cauldron to put it on the fire.
2 - Place a villager on the cauldron a second time to get water for the stew.
3 - Place a villager on a mastered plant to gather herbs for the stew. (Each stew requires 3 herbs)
4 - Place a villager on the cauldron and the villager will add food to the stew.
5 - When the stew is finished, the villager will move the cauldron off the fire.
The stews have varying effects on villagers, from curing disease to making them a bit strange. Try different combinations of plants to get different results.
GOOD STEWS: There is 6 plants in total & if you start with the one by the coconut trees (make it number 1) and continue moving clockwise making rose #2, daisy #3, black flowers by waterfall #4, red flowers by dam #5 and orange flower #6; the recipes are as follows:
ENERGY BOOST: #1, #5, #6
POND POTION: #3, #6, #6 (to retrieve gong piece)
RESTORE HEALTH: #3, #3, #6
.... there is hundreds of different combos you can use.
Puzzle #10 - Uncover the ancient covered floor in the southeast part of the village by dragging a villager with Level 3 of Engineering Tech and Exploration Tech to the location.
Puzzle #11 - Construct a hospital. Get both Engineering Tech and Medicine Tech Level 3 and a foundation will appear for the villagers to construct a hospital.
Puzzle #12 - Build a sewing hut. Get Culture Tech Level 2 and Science Tech Level 2. A foundation will appear for villagers to build on. This sewing hut allows you to change the villagers clothing.
Puzzles 13-16 are all part of the Gong of Wonder, which is the final challenge of the game. The four parts of the Gong of Wonder are:
Puzzle #13 - Take 3 Master Builders to the crate on the beach where one of the gong pieces are hidden.
Puzzle #14 - Clear thorns blocking access to the gong encasement. With Exploration Tech Level 2, clear away the thorns covering the gong encasement revealing a piece of the gong.
Puzzle #15 - Using the stew making steps from Puzzle #9, make a stew to allow a villager to dive for the sunken gong piece in the pond. Use one black flower (#3) and two orange-red flowers (#6 x 2) from the south side of the village. You can see the required herbs on the wall where you removed vines in an earlier puzzle.
Puzzle #16 - With Puzzles #6 and #10 complete, drop the totem in the center of the mosaic discovered in puzzle #10. This will assemble the gong. Bang the gong a maximum of once every 24 hours (in game time) to see what impact it has on the village.
Hope these tips help.

What other projects can builders start after they finished making the dam, the hut, and rebuilding the broken hut? THey aren't master builders yet so they can't open the crate...
Bamshizam: You need to buy Culture 3 & you can clear the vines by the waterfall or you need Medicine & Engineering 3 to build a hospital.

how do you get the cuting tool for the vines?? I've tried bringing my master scientist to the area where the twisted stuff are but he never sees anything like sharp stone..HELP!!

okay, I downloaded the Virtual Villagers 2 game in April. Was the bug fixed by then?
Also, I keep moving the totem around. Actually, I have 10-15 of them. I have tried them all, even put all of them in the mosaic, but nothing.
Someone said to move it around. I tried that, almost like banging it on the mosaic, and it looked like it was breaking. Now, I am not so sure.
If you do "bang" the totem against the mosaic, do you have to do this for a long time?
This is very frustrating.
Thanks for any help.
-
a good tip: starting in the top left number the plants from 1 to 6 going clockwise. using this method write down each combo you try. if you write the different combinations making a chart you will find that there are only 56 different combinations. someone else said there are hundreds of combos but if you actualy write them out youll see that after the 56th combo they will start to repeat themselves. it makes no difference what order you use the plants.
-
Has anyone had this problem, i have the gong,,rang it once after assembled and now no one will ring it. I know you have to wait 24 hours in game time but my villagers are all getting older and the gong never sparkles. When i drag people to it they just admire. PLEASE help! Is this a glitch, bug, or fixable????????

Well I made a stew with 1 lilly and 2 Anthirium herbs. It's the one that gives the villagers a boost of energy. And I let the kids eat it up. And they went running around exercising. Sure it's fun. The kids have nothing to do bar pick up stuff.
And to my amazement if I let the kids finish their exercising uninterrupted, some of them got skill in building and became apprentice builders. I don't know how this will translate to actual building skill when they grow up though.
Yes even the apprentices can't go building stuff, only adults can.
And can you become aprentices in things other than building?

hello i heard that a lot of people asked if there were some cheats to get tech points and food if so go to
www.commodorecheetah.co.uk/NoComHear/CheatOMatic.htm
if it shows a site were there is a little box and it sais cheat o matic go down on the page and press download when that is done(here was a part i had it difficult with)open virtual villagers 2 and try to press ctrl+alt+delete and then it should be like it is minimised but it is important when the joblist comes not to shut down vv2. when you got vv2 minimized open cheat o matic and follow the insructions
Csome of the insructions can be difficult to understand so im gonna tell them first you chose vv2 in the top wich should be there or else you did something wrong and then you enter the amount of tech points you have or the amount of food you have depending on what you want and when it says "we did not find it try to change the value in the game if it says that open the game and wait untill the value is changedand the go back to cheato matic (by minimizing vv2 again) and enter the new value and if it then says we did not find it press new search dont press new search just press the first amount you had before you changed it and if it says change value in game just press the new thing you got and try that a couple of times (i did it about 7 times so be patient) untill it says "ca-ching got it" then enter the value you want in the buttom and it just says a little beeb but dont change it just shut down cheat o matic and the amount you entered should be seen in virtual villagers ps. it works on some other games too. if you have any questions just post em

Help i have a problem, so i know that an elder is a person who's a master in 3 skills and i have a persin who's a master in 2 skills farming and researching, also he's and adept builder and if he had 1 more cm of that blue skill stuff in his bar he'd be a master. Now my question is, i have 6 huts the researching huttish thing the sewing hut and then the other 4 huts, other than the ancient mosiac and the hospital is there anything else that that you can build? o yeah and i know that when i cleared the thorny bushes it encreased their building so is it the same with the vines? The reason i'm so desperate for somthing to build is because my villager is around 65 so he doesn't have a super long life left. Thanks to anyone who can help i really appreciate it!!
-
to get it out of the pond u need to make a stew, with i think 2 orange flowers in the far south and 1 black one north of the pond, u also need exploration tech 2 to get the cauldron to make the stew in. The cauldron is by the firewood pile, have a villager bring it to the fire. STEW MAKING INSTRUCTIONS
1. drop adult villager on cauldron to put it on fire
2. drop same villager on cauldron again to add water
3. drop same villager on cauldron again to add food
4. drop same villager on the first herb u want
5. drop same villager on the next herb u want to add
6. drop villager on the herb
every stew is made of 3 herbs, have the same villager who prepared the stew eat some and then drop him in the pond to collect the gong piece then follow my algea eating fish advice.
ps. the herb combination is the 2 black ones and 1 orange on or 2 orange ones and 1 black one i forget. every combo has a different affect on ur person/people. more than one person can eat the stew and wait i dont think that u need to use the same person srry. good luck

CONNIE: no you don't need to pay for the totems and mosaic. to get the mosaic you do need to pay for level 3 tech in engineering and culture. the totem is given to u when you have an elder who is a master in 3 skills the totem will apear in the place your villager became an elder. XCORPION: To get that piece of the gong it does not matterhow many totems you have i only have 4 and it worked for me, it also does not matter about the type of totem. If your ancient mosaic is uncovered since you bought level 3 enginerreing and culture tech and made you villagers work to uncover the mosaic and it's it the form of a crcle with a yellow middle then you just drop whatever totem in the middle of the yellow middle (ypu might have to move the totem around a bit as some people say but i didn't need to) and then the piece of the gong will appear in the center of that yellow circle. but to retrieve the gong piece u have to take an elder and drop him over top of the gong piece to get him to gather it (note that i used the same elder that the totem belonged to but i'm not sure if it matters). Your elder will carry the gong piece over to the encasement and then voils the gong is complete. Also a mesage will appear when you firat create it when everyone is gathered around the ancasement celebrating and that message will appear everytime you click on the gong.
I HOPE I'VE HELPED YOU ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS! :)

HOPE THIS HELPS SOME OF YA'LL ...
FIRE
The first puzzle to be solved is starting a fire. Drop a villager on the wood pile in the southwest corner of the island and they will carry wood to the fire pit in the center. Then, take them to the pink flowers west of the coconut trees to collect some dried grass. Once the wood and grass are in place, drop them onto the fire pit and they will start a fire. Make sure to add wood occasionally to keep the fire from going out.DONE
THE DAM
Once you reach Level Two Engineering, drop a builder on the rocks just above the pool of water in the southeast corner of the island. They will construct a dam to irrigate the fields to the immediate left so that crops can be planted. This will also uncover an ancient mosaic on the ground, the site of a later puzzle.
The Scarecrow
This puzzle requires the completion of the dam above. Once you plant your crops, you need a scarecrow to keep the parrots away. Drop an Adept-level (or better) farmer on the twisted pieces of wood and vine just below the rock pile in the north center of the map. You'll need to do this twice.
THE CUTTING TOOL
You need a cutting tool to clear the vegetation that covers the entrance to the cave in the north and the vine wall to the east. After you acquire Level Two Exploration, drop a Master Scientist on the sharp stones just above and to the right of the twisted pieces of wood and vine used for the scarecrow. When he's done, take him back for a second trip for the wood and vines necessary to finish the tool.
HERB MASTERY
This puzzle is easy to complete early in the game. Six herbs are located around the edges of the map. Each one will be identified as a "strange plant" when a villager is held over it. Have a healer examine each one of them until they master it to complete this puzzle. The location of each herb is as follows: DONE
The green plant in the upper left hanging over the wall of stones.
The blue flower at the top center just to the right of the cave.
The lavender daisy at the far top-right above the sacred area.
The black chain of flowers just above the waterfall on the east.
The bright red flowers southeast of the dam.
The large orange flower to the south of the village.
THE ELDER TOTEM
Once you have a villager who has mastered three skills, they become an Esteemed Elder. When this happens, a totem is created and placed in your village in their honor. It can be moved anywhere you like.
SUSSATINABLE FISHING
When the ocean to the west is over-fished, it develops algae. To eliminate the problem and restore fishing, special algae-eating fish must be transported from the pond to the ocean. This requires Level Three Farming and a Master Farmer or Master Scientist. Take them to the pond and drop them in. Once enough algae-eating fish are transported to the ocean, the algae will clear.
THE VINE WALL
Along the east wall are a number of vines that conceal some strange markings. To uncover these, you must first complete the cutting tool and purchase Level Three Culture. Drag a villager to the wall and release them. They will use the cutting tool to remove the vegetation.
THE STEW
In order to make stews, you must first recover the cauldron from the wood pile in the southwest. It will appear after you purchase Level Two Exploration. With the fire burning and the cauldron next to it, drop a villager on the cauldron three times. Once each to put it on the fire, fill it with water and add food. Then, drop a villager on any of the herbs you have mastered adding a total of three to the mix in any combination (you can use multiples of the same herb).
Of course, different selections of herbs will have different results. Keep track of the ingredients in all the stews you make. You want to avoid duplication and don't want to recreate a bad stew (it can make your villagers sick). If you treat your villagers to the best, they will stay healthy and remain happy.
Here are some recipes to get you started. The numbers for each herb correspond to the herbs as listed and identified under Herb Mastery.
1+2+6 = Your villager feels healthier after eating.
1+5+6 = This stew gave your villager a burst of energy.
2+3+4 = This spicy stew clears your villager's nose and throat.
3+5+6 = This stew gives off a very sweet smell.
4+5+6 = Your villager feels healthier.
4+6+6 = Strange stew...your villager feels no need to breathe.
THE ANCIENT RUINS
Once you've completed the dam and reached Level Three Engineering and Exploration, you can drag a villager to the ancient ruins in the southeast corner of the map and they will start uncovering the site.
THE HOSPITAL
Obtain Level Three Engineering and Medicine, and a foundation will appear in the south central portion of the map. This lets your villagers build a hospital.
THE SEWING HUT
Once you reach Level Two Culture, a foundation become visible for a sewing hut just east of the wood pile in the southwest corner of Isola. This allows your villagers to change clothing, but at a cost of 5,000 tech points each. Ouch! Where's Thurston Howell III when you need him?
THE SUNKEN GONG PIECE
One piece of the gong is located in the pool on the eastern edge of the village. This sunken gong piece is obtained by making a special magic stew consisting of one of the black flowers near the waterfall and two of the large orange flowers to the south of the village (herbs 4+6+6 as indicated above). Have a villager eat the stew, and then drop them in the pool.
THE INLAID GONG PIECE
Once one of your villagers has become an Esteemed Elder and been honored with a totem and after you've completed the ancient ruins puzzle, drop a totem on the mosaic in the center of the ruins to retrieve another piece of the gong.
THE BOXED GONG PIECE
This piece of the gong is inside the crate on the beach to the west. Three Master Builders working together are needed to open it.
THE OVERGROWN GONG PIECE
After you purchase Exploration Level Two and complete the cutting tool, your villagers can clear away the vegetation blocking the cave to the north (the Gong Encasement). Doing so reveals a piece of the gong.
-
hello everyone... just finished finding the 3rd piece of gong, from the pond.
my problem is, i got to find (again) the last piece of the gong which is from the mosaic. i've put a totem on the middle of the mosaic, just as the owner of the totem died. and when i've put the totem on the mosaic, a piece of gong had appeared, and i ran out of kids to pick it up, as in nil. (now, i know that it takes an elder to pick up that piece of gong... i thought, only kids can pick up items). now, when i put the totem back again in the middle of the ruin, nothing appears.. what should i do? do i need another elder for another totem? does it really be an elder who should pick up that piece of gong?
-
i have found the perfect stew to completely revitalise all my villagers (when I was down to 0 food, and just picked up two mushrooms). It's two of the light blue flowers north of the science table, and one of the orange flower south of the srceen. All my villagers were healthy again after that stew. Amazing!
-
I think I messed up big. Not sure whether I should start over. Here's how things stand. I have adept workers in each area but no masters which I have no clue how to get. I've repaired the one hut and built the other. My water has algae, I have no clue how to get coconuts, can't get the fish to clear the algae as I only have a few thousand points so not enough to increase tech what do you recommend doing and can you tell me how to get the coconuts. Any help much appreciated. Thanks
-
hey Im gonna tell everyone how to do all of the puzzles
Puzzle #3 - Build a scarecrow to protect the crops from birds by dragging a Master Farmer to the twisted wood and vines located in the northern corner of the village. You'll need to bring supplies back to the farm area twice in order to get enough supplies to complete the scarecrow. If you don't finish construction on the scarecrow, birds will eat your crops.
Puzzle #4 - Make cutting tools to remove overgrown vegetation around the village. After acquiring Exploration Tech Level 2, drag a Master Scientist to the northern part of the village to the rocks by the twisted wood and vines. Something will be discovered and two trips will be required to make special tools.
Puzzle #5 - Master six plants located around the village. You will know each plant is mastered when a message appears on screen. Starting with the odd-looking plant just left of the very dry grass in the northwest part of the village, move clockwise toward the blue flower between the thorns and rocks. Next find the small lavender flower at the north end of the graveyard, followed by the black flowers by the waterfall. Proceed to the reddish flowers south of the dam.
Use one black flower and two orange-red flowers from the south side of the village.

I paused (double checked) my game but when I came back, 3 people were laying there dead. How can people die during a paused game? Is there any way to undo that or, at least, prevent it from happening again? (They were "weakened" when I left even though I had the doctor tend to them beforehand. I tried making an energy stew but it didn't seem to help - unless I missed feeding the 3 that died - but they still shouldn't have died while the game was in pause.) Thanks.

I just checked and it seems my 2 year old is now 16! So 14 village "years" went by while in pause overnight! I'm assuming I can't undo the deaths and whatever other events took place during that time but how can I prevent it from happening again? I don't know what discoveries they made, if any (you know, when the message window pops up and they've found a sack or something), what stones I've missed finding, etc. :(

I went on with my game, despite 3 villagers dying while the game had been paused, and today ALL my villagers died - again while the game was paused! (Which was quite frustrating since I had all my tech except one level 3.) I paused the game AND clicked on DONE so the window would close so I don't understand why the game kept playing in the background. Is this a bug? Is there a patch to fix it? I don't want to start the game over if it's just going to happen again. Please someone respond, I've been waiting for a response for days. Thanks.

Dear readers,
If you are reading this then I first of all hope your villagers Are settling in their new home.Secondly I found a much easier way to collect collectibles.
1.First find a collectible
2.Then hit the space bar which then it should say it is paused
3.Finally drag a kid to the collectible then in the actions should say collecting an item for the scientists
hope it works for you

But how do you get the tool? I've been searching FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!
Can someone please be straight foreward and tell me? PLEASE?!?

Hiia
I have a big problem.
I have a very low supply of coconuts left and there is algae in the sea!
I have no other source of food so when my coconuts run out my villagers will all die!
You have to get 90 000 tech points and buy farming level 3 to get rid of the algae but i don't know how you can get so many tech points!
None of my villagers earn much tech points and i can't seem to find any butterflies or shells anymore and i have found NO pebbles or beetles so i can't get tech points from that!
Thanks

Megan - You can only heal sick people but by weakened villager, do you mean with low health? If so do you know how to make a stew? Make the fire, get the cauldron, take someone to the cauldron and it will say preparing stew, take the villager to it again and it will saying adding water, then look for these herbs to add to it
x2 Light purpley blue flower at the top north of the map by the sacred area of the dead
x1 Orange flower at the south end of the map by the firewood and bottom of stream
This stew will completely restore all villagers who eat its health =D
danouli - just quit the game without pausing it and go back on, your cauldron should be there again

Hey,
Help! I have no food source left. I have algae in my ocean, got level 3 farming, master scientist n farmer.
But I have been trying for 2 days to send them to the pond to find the fish but they seems to only "enjoy the pond".
Can anyone show me the exact location to identify the fish? My villagers are dying! Please please! Im pretty stupid!!! N I dun want them to die.

To help prevent starvation:
Always keep a kid around, if ur last child is about to come an adult (about 10 or 11) make a new baby, this way you can collect mushrooms, very handy when u run out of cocunuts and u cant fish anymore (this is before u get the 90000 tech points to get rid of the algea) also collect items as much as possible, duplicate items earn tech points. Put all ur adults on the research table, soon they will be master scientists and earn tech points quicker, dont bother with any of the other projects, they can wait. Also don't start out breeding everyone, ull run out of resources, don't gather food unless ur about to run out, seems to last longer that way. Hope this helps!

Can someone who has mastered the game tell me what to spend my tech points on first? I heard that buying the science tech makes earning tech points easier, but i don't want my village to starve because i didn't buy the farming tech. Also, it looks like the exploration tech is highly important. Which one is most important, and in which order should I buy them?

This has probably been asked many times before, but there are so many post it would take forever to find out the answer, so forgive me for ask a repeated question.
Anyhoo, I was wondering. I know that when the population grows, you have to build houses. The last time my population grew scaffolding appeared for building another hut. But my problem is that I have a populations over 90 people and no new scaffolding has appeared. So how do I get new huts built to get some master builders to get to the crate?
If you want to more escaping fun, try Escape the Museum 2 game.
