the music in the note is messed up. you cant read it correctly enough to try to play the piano; a music staff should only have 5 lines, this has 6.

this game sucks! you need a coin for the piano and a coin for the arcade but there is no coins. arrgh!

ReplyDeleteThe piano puzzle is possible, although I don't know how you would figure it out using the note sheet. But through craftmanship I found the sequence of keys for the piano. Numbering the keys 1-13, from left to right, with the first white key on the left being number 1, the first black key on the left which is the one after the first white key, being number 2 and so on. Then click the piano keys in the following sequence.
1, 6, 7, 1, 12, 10, 7, 6, 6, 6, 1, 1, 6, 4, 3, 1, 1, 10, 5, 3, 1, 7, 8, 8, 8, 1
Now this sequence does work after you complete it the piano give you a coin in your inventory combine the spool of string with the coin and got to the slot machine and put it in the slot. This part I'm stuck at but I hope this helped you guys get farther in this stupid game

Walkthrough
ReplyDelete1.turn right 2 times. take microphone and string from desk.
2.turn left. break ship in bottle with microphone. Get note.
3.use note to play piano. Get coin.
4.Tie string to coin.
5. use coin in slot machine. Play slot machine to get all keys(takes a few tries).
6. Exit door.
After you got the coin and attached it to the piece of string. All you have to do is insert it into the slot machine. Then the hardest thing is trying to get all three reels to land on the key. If you can do that hit submit, and use the keys on the door, and you're out! :o) Cheers!

There seems to be a connection in one or other way with the tab, the tab exactly says (starting from the G-key):

You have to use this combination:

The biggest problem is, or that the tabs are written wrong (what will be the best option), or that the notes on the piano are wrong ... Anyway we got throug this now.
Now combine the spool of wire with the coin and use the coin in the gambling machine.
Shuffle till you get the key-picture on all 3 wheels and then submit.
Tip on this one:
After starting shuffle, just click to stop buttons from left to right as fast as possible, this is the only possibility to get combinations of three. Don't try to aim at picture, just click ;)
As we could expect, we now got some keys, use them on the door and you get out :)
I think what gets people most irritated, is the use of wrong tabs in the game. Further there is a lot that could let you think in another direction, like de coffin, locked drawers and so on.
Anyway we did escape ;)

Take The Hammer (Left Of Desk)
Take The Vodka (Next To Plant)
Open Middle Draw and take String.
Press Left Once.
Use Hammer On Ship In Bottle.
Use the sequence found above for the piano and it will give you a coin.
Tie the string to the coin.
Go To The Arcade, and Insert Coin. (the string is for multiple turns).
If you want to win this game properly, click stop on all of the wheels, so you get 3 keys, but if you just want to finish this game, while you are on the arcade, right click and click forward.
This is the worst escape game ever. I honestly don't know how you guys figured out the notes on the piano, but that was ridiculous. And then the slot machine puzzle was just terrible. I sat there clicking shuffle and stop until my hand got tired, and I could never get the keys to line up. Where is the challenge or fun in that? This guy (Peter Tarasov) also had a game last week (Just Escape) that had a bug in the main slider puzzle that caused it to be impossible to solve, and now this. From now on, when I see his name on a game, I'm not even going to get started. To quote the great Michael Scott "Fool me once, strike one. Fool me twice, strike three!"

ReplyDeleteGetting the three keys on the arcade is difficult, but not impossible. The secret is the row of lights that light up from left to right.When the lights nearly reach the right side of the arcade, that is when you click "stop". Timing is still important, but now you have a better idea of when to click, instead of just clicking randomly. Also, the lights have to be turning from grey to white. That makes a difference. Hope this helps.

ReplyDeleteto get out of the room you have to get all keys on the slot machine. To do that you have to use the numbers on the wall. The numbers are how many seconds you have to wait before you push the stop button. The first stop button (going from left to right) has to be pushed after 10 seconds. the next has to be pushed 5 seconds after the first one and the last stop button has to be pushed 9 seconds after the second (middle) stop button.

ReplyDeleteThis game ticked me off. These puzzles are freakin impossible! I wouldn't have gotten out WITHOUT being told the piano combo. I've played piano for something like 12 years, and I couldn't understand that puzzle. The sheet music had too many lines, and the piano had not enough keys for the octaves in the music. Plus, the slots were pure luck, no puzzle there. I think this guy needs to put a little more thought into his puzzles.
