Escape Pear Room
Escape the Pear Room is our third sponsored new point and click room escape game created by 2keys Games, who is also creator of Escape Orange Room, Escape Turquoise Room and etc. In this game, Rupert is a Christmas grinch, and his neighbors are tired of putting up with him. They've locked him in the pear room, and have hidden away his Santa suit. Help Rupert escape so he can ruin their celebrations. Make sure that you remember that you have a limited inventory space. So if you don't need something anymore, put it back where you found it to free up a slot in inventory. Good Luck and Have Fun!

OK, a few end of game hints to save you at least the extra hour I spent figuring the below out:
- ZOOM IN on tree trunk and just place the point of your cursor (and click) exactly on the branch where you want the axe to cut (don't try to place the axe head where you want to cut). Cut all until only a smooth log is left except for the greenery on / at the floor.
- Place a spot with a marker on your screen where the clock Santa holds the puzzle piece fully extended in his to speed up grabbing it.
- Presents must be put back in same order they were in. If you forget the order, just keep trying them until one falls back on the pile.
- After you open the door with the log, use broom then ash scooper to find and retrieve the last puzzle piece in snow, then use fire poker to grab beard. However, you get nothing but a bunch of happy flowers if you bother to finish the puzzle. Very anti-climactic, but it's the hunt, not the kill that counts, right LOL?
- You will not be able to use the red button on the dresser until after the door is open. pressing it will move the dresser to the left, disclosing a wall safe which is opened with the key from the bells.
- The bells are different for everyone, so no reason to post your particular combination here. Just write down each combo yourself, if you screw it up, the bells will start over with one tone you repeat, then two, etc. so your written log can be finished quickly. At first there is one tone, then two, three, four, then two series of five for me, so don't bother trying to memorize them.
- When you exit door with all 11 items of Santa inventory, Santa just skis through the snow. I wish there was a bigger bang at the end to pay us off for such effort and time invested.
- I did NOT find a puzzle piece in the cat's mouth / tongue as some who posted apparently did, but I did find all pieces. Thus, the hiding places of the puzzle pieces must vary at least a tiny bit from game to game.

Warning, this game has some difficult bits and takes time...so only play when relaxed and have the time to enjoy the challenge.
ZOOM is important, so right click mouse when you have difficulty
THANK YOU to all contributors from above....
Start collecting puzzle pieces and put them on the bedside cabinet. You only have limited space in your inventory, so keep clearing it out.
GREEN BOTTLE pick up and examine, piece under bottle
Under the TABLECLOTH (remove all items and lift. Replace items)
Open curtains for another piece on WINDOWSILL
Using every tool by fireplace poke CHIMNEY until something falls, if you get the belt, pick it up and try again. There may be one or two pieces.
Zoom (right click mouse) on left stocking and CAT may have a blue tongue, this is another piece.
Go right to tree.
zoom in on ROCKING CHAIR runner
Turn on LAMP and look at shade
Zoom CLOCK and set to twelve, pull cords three times and click door. Santa as a piece in his hand.
Zoom base of TREE
Take star and put on REINDEER head, and zoom on chin
Go right twice to bed and place pieces on bedside cabinet. I found it handy to sort in to groups.
Open DRAWER for scissors and another piece, bottom drawer for hat, shake for another piece
PAINTING for two more
Place them on the puzzle for a clear inventory
Click each PRESENT and put in inventory. Pick piece up from FLOOR. Examine each present from the last collected, cut ribbon and get piece. Replace present. Put pieces in puzzle.
Lift lamp..BED...find one behind the PILLOW, and by the far LEG of the bed (need to lift pillow, sheet and zoom, but the hardest will be under the mattress. Click pillow up as far as you can, then sheet, keeping them up the mattress, and base...get AXE and piece
Go to door...RUG lift corners for two more pieces. With ALL corners up lift rug and get LIGHTER
SKIS examine left boot and right tip (may need to zoom)
BUCKET lift up
Clear pieces from inventory. Go to tree and cut sack of pears
Collect all the candles. Light each one to remove
Collect all ball and put in back of pears
Replace lighter under rug
Use axe on CAKE and CHAIR for more pieces
Return to tree, select AXE and ZOOM, clear branches (use finger of cursor and do this THREE times until it is just a POLE no bits attached except the needles at the bottom) collect piece from top and using scissor open SACK for another piece
EMPTY INVENTORY put scissors in drawer and axe under mattress....yes you have to do the pillow/sheet/mattress etc AGAIN....
You can now pick up the pole and bash the door down and using all the tools from beside the fireplace get piece and BEARD
Put last piece in puzzle. Replace tools
Playing the bells....to get a KEY
There is no easy way, wait for a tone and hit the correct bell/bells until the key drops.
Remove all the presents from bedside cabinet and press button(this only works if you have ALL the pieces) and cabinet moves to show safe. Open safe for santa suit and money. REPLACE presents AND key on doorstep. Collect the rest of the gear...skis, poles, gloves, hat, belt, beard. Click doorway and off...NOW HAVE A NICE LIE DOWN...

I've finished it so ill do a walkthrough for everyone!
You dont need to do the puzzle so I wont say where the puzzle peices are. I'll just say what you need.
This is what i did (in order)
View with the door :
Lift up all the cornors of the mat then click the mat in the middle. Take the lighter. Make sure your quick though because the cornors come down.
View with the tree :
Take all the candles of the tree and use them with the lighter. Then you can put the lighter back where you found it as you wont need it again. Then take all the christmas baubles of the tree and go to the view with the bed :
Open the first draw and get the scissors. Then go back to the view with the tree and use the scissors with the red bag.Then click the red bag so you are inside it and put all the baubles inside it.
The view with the bed :
Click the red lamp so it moves then repetedly click the pillow until you cant see it then click the cover and do the same for the two mattresses. Take the axe.
The view with the tree :
Take the star of the top of the tree and then using the axe get all the branches of the tree including the stubbly bits. At the bottom of the tree there will be a green bit that you can't get rid of and just leave it.
The view with rudolphs head :
Put the star ontop of rudolphs head.
Then if anything is left in your inventory put it back where you found it.

The view with the door :
Click one of the bells and play simon says with them until a key drops out. You might want to write the sequence down because if you got wrong you start from the beggining. Everyone's sequence is different so i wont write mine down. When the key drops out leave it. Use the tree with the door and when the door opens take the key.
The view with the bed :
Take the scissors again (same place as last time) . Use the key with the top right hand cornor of the drawer were the scissors are and a safe will open. Take whatis in the safe. There should be a santa coat and $2.
View with rudolphs head :
Then use the fire poker with the chimney and a belt will fall out. Take the belt.
Go back to the veiw with the door and zoom in on the fence outside. There will be a beard. Use the poker with the beard to reach it.
Then put the poker back.
Then go back to the view where th tree used to be and use the scissors on the red bag inside the green bit thats left of the tree. Take the hat and the mittons that are inside the bag.
Then put the scissors back.
Go to the view with the door and get the skis and ski poles.
Now in your inventoryyou should have : santa coat, santa hat and mittons, santa belt, a beard ,$2 and a pair of skis and ski poles (and maby the key).If you have all this the click the door and your finished if not go find them!! lol

you have all the clothes in your inventory but you cant get out of the room. get the skis and ski poles in to your inventory too. click out of the door and crazed santa and you are out of the damned room!!!!!! woopeeeee mwahahahahahaha

Tannison each bell has a different ring. hit the all one by one so you know which one has which sound. Then hit one and you´ll hear the first note your supposed to repeat. Hit that bell, then you´ll hear the sound of two bells- keep repeating this until you get 6 in a row right. Remember if you get it wrong before you get 6, you´ll start again from one note, with a different sequence. It´s not easy! Most people got a pen and paper to write them down. good luck

Here is a detailed walkthrough...
this game is about an hour and a half long if you do it mostly by yourself.
there are always different pieces then to someone elses... but still in same locations.
1. grab the note, read it and get informed of whats happened
2. go to the left click the puzzle(you have to complete this by finding pieces around the room, best way to do it is to put all the side pieces in the middle and build on from that)
3.the pieces are...
8 pieces- grab the sciscors and a piece from the top draw of the drawer the puzzle is sat on then grab the presents to the side and vew them THEN open the up while holding the scissors... (you may have to take a box at a time and put a puzzle piece on the table to get more room, as soon as you've done that you can see a button dont click it until you've finished the puzzle... you can just put them back afterwards)
2 pieces- click the photo hanging on the wall above the bed and click all the dark blue things... two of them are puzzle pieces.
3 pieces and an important item- click the red lamp above the bed to make it move out the way and keep clicking the pillow then cover then matresses and then QUICKLY! take the hatchet and puzzle... you will need them both.(while pulling up the cover there is one revealed near the far end leg and on the headboard when you lift the pillow!)
2 pieces- open the bottom draw and pick up the hat. there one underneath it and then theres one in the hat (you have to click it quite alot)
THIS WAS IN THE BED SCENE!

2 pieces- turn right and grab the skis look at them both... on has one in the boot and the other has one on the tip (top)
2 pieces and a needed! item- click the corners of the doormat and then click the whole thing up after grabbing the pieces from the corners(this lighter (santa) will help you get rid of the candles on the tree which will be explained later)
1 piece- sadly this is the last piece in that part of the room but there is a key later... its under the bucket

tunr left to see a christmas tree... there are items here hard to get in many ways...
1 piece- use the scissors to open the bag and then pick up the ornaments and put them in the bag you just opened take the candles off the tree so it is bare and get rid of the candles using the lighter... then chop the tree up using the axe then u will find a piece in the tree itself... KEEP CHOPPING TILL THE TREE HAS NO BRANCHES!( this will open the door if you pick it up with nothing in your inventory)DONT PICK IT UP YET!
1 piece- turn on the lamp and grab a piece in the corner (you may have to zoom)
1 piece- there is a piece under the tree leaves
3 items and a piece- open the bag behind the tree its got a pie underneeath your santa outfit which you'll need later.

1 piece and part of your suit- use the fireplace tools on the fireplace to unearth a puzzle piece and your belt...
1 piece- open the curtains and grab the piece on the window sill

1 piece- slice open the chair on the left side of the table and take the piece from inside

4. you must get a key byusing the usiing the musical bells over the door and you must find out the tune on your own because it is never the same as anyone elses... this is the key to the safe

then pick up the tree stump and go to the door and select the tree and smash the door down. put the tree back now... if its still in your inventory.
SORRY THERE IS ONE OUTSIDE! ITS THE PILE OF SNOW AND YOU NEED TO USE THE FIREPLACE CLEANERS AND POKERS TO GET IT! (check further down for info to open the door)
56 grab all the presents and push the button to open the safe (yep thats where it came in) put the presents back and grab the money...
7. use the fireplace cleaners to grab the beard outside (you cant go out because theres a dog guarding the house)

WALKTHROUGH!!!!!!!!!!
Turn left and look at the puzzle. There are 34 pieces on the table, and it's a 70-piece puzzle. So you will need to find 36 pieces.
Turn back to the fireplace view. Take the NOTE, read it, and put it back.
Take everything (WINE BOTTLE, CAKE, COOKIES, TABLECLOTH) off the table and get PIECE 1. Examine the WINE BOTTLE, lift it up, and get piece 2. Open the curtains and get piece 3. Put everything back on the table.
Take all 3 fireplace tools (POKER, BROOM, SHOVEL). Use them all to sweep the fireplace chimney. The BELT will fall on your first sweep, and once you've used all 3 tools, PIECE 4 will fall. Take PIECE 4, but leave the BELT for now. Put the tools back.
Click the left stocking. A cat will pop his head out and open his mouth. PIECE 5 is in his mouth, take it. If you miss, try again (zooming in helps a lot here).
Turn right to the tree and take the STAR. Go back to the fireplace and put the STAR on Rudolph's head. When he grins, take PIECE 6 under his head (zoom in if you need to).
Now turn to the tree. Click the rocking chair and take PIECE 7 when it's visible. (On the floor, behind the far rocker.) Turn on the lamp and take PIECE 8 on the bottom-left corner of the lampshade. (It's a slightly darker blue.) Take PIECE 9 under the tree (just under the bottom candle, zoom in if you need to).
Now comes the hardest piece: set the clock hands to 12:00, click the ropes 3 times, and click the small door in the clock. Santa will pop out for a moment holding PIECE 10; take it. (If you miss, click the ropes 3 more times and repeat until you get it. Zooming in helps a lot here.)
Head right to the view of the door. Click the far left and right corners of the rug and get PIECES 11-12. Your inventory should be full, so unload it by turning right to the bed view and putting the PIECES on the puzzle.
Now that your inventory is empty, go back to the door view. Tip the bucket and get PIECE 13. Take BOTH SKIS and examine them. In the boot of the LEFT SKI is PIECE 14; on the top-right of the RIGHT SKI (by the tip) is PIECE 15. Put the SKIS back.
Lift all four corners of the rug, then (while all 4 corners are up) lift the rug by clicking its center; get the LIGHTER. Take the CANDLES from the tree. Examine each CANDLE in turn and burn it away with the LIGHTER. When all CANDLES are gone, put the LIGHTER back.
Turn up the sound on your computer. Click each bell and notice that they all make a different sound. Click the bow and you will play Simon with the bells. A mistake sends you back to the beginning of this mini-game. When you've done enough (matched 6 in a row), a GOLD KEY will drop onto the doorsill. Leave it for now.
Turn to the bed view. Open the top drawer and get the SCISSORS and PIECE 16. Open the bottom drawer and get CAP and PIECE 17. Examine the CAP, shake it a few times, and get PIECE 18. Put the CAP back. Look at the painting and get PIECES 19-20 (the two largest blue spots). Put your PIECES on the puzzle.
Move the lamp. Rapidly click the pillow and get PIECE 21 on the headboard. Rapidly click the pillow and blanket and get PIECE 22 by the back foot of the bed. Rapidly click the pillow, blanket, and both mattresses and get PIECE 23 and AXE. Put your PIECES on the puzzle.
Pick up all the PRESENTS; under them is PIECE 24. Notice the red button. Examine each PRESENT in turn and open them with the SCISSORS. You will get PIECES 25-31. When you're out of room in your inventory, put the PIECES on the puzzle. When you're done, put the PIECES on the puzzle and put back the PRESENTS.
Go to the fireplace view. Use the AXE on the left chair and get PIECE 32. Take the CAKE, examine it, use the AXE on it, and get PIECE 33. Put back the CAKE.
Go to the tree view. Use the SCISSORS to open the red bag. Take all the ORNAMENTS that you can and put them in the bag with the pears. Do the same for the rest of the ORNAMENTS.
Use the AXE to cut up the tree until you reveal another bag. Use your SCISSORS to open the bag. Take the HAT, MITTENS, and PIECE 34. Return the HAT and MITTENS, zoom out to tree view, and get PIECE 35 in the top of the tree trunk.
There are 20 branches protruding from the tree trunk. Use the AXE on all of them to turn them into twigs, then use the AXE on the twigs to turn the tree trunk into a log.
In order to pick up the LOG, you need an empty inventory. Put the PIECES on the puzzle, return the SCISSORS to the top drawer, and put the AXE back under the bed.
Once your inventory is empty, pick up the LOG. (You control it with the first box in your inventory.) Remember the painting? Make like the painting and bust open the door with the LOG.
Take the POKER, SHOVEL, and BROOM by the fireplace. Head over to the open door and pick up the KEY. Use the BROOM on the small pile of snow to reveal PIECE 36; use the SHOVEL to get PIECE 36. Use the POKER to get the BEARD under the wreath on the fence. Put away the fireplace tools.
Put the LAST PIECE on the puzzle and solve it. (Start with corners and edges, then work in a spiral with connecting pieces.) When you're done, you'll hear a sound and flowers will appear.
Take all the PRESENTS and push the red button to make the drawers slide left. Put all the PRESENTS back. Now use the KEY to open the safe and get the COAT. Put the KEY back on the doorsill.
Now get the complete Santa suit: COAT, BEARD, HAT, MITTENS, BELT, SKIS, SKI POLES. Now leave the room and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I only need one more piece, can anyone help me...
I've got the one in the clock, by the rocking chair, in the blue lamp, the one in the bag behind the Christmas tree and two in the tree. I’ve peeled of all the branches of the tree, but don’t know what to do with it.
I've got one out of the fireplace, the cat’s mouth, and by the reindeers head. One from the chair, Christmas cake, the green bottle, under the tablecloth and the window frame.
I found three in the bed, two in the picture, three in the drawers and one from each present.
One in each ski, one under the bucket and two? (I don't remember how many) under the mat.
I think that’s all I’ve found. Can somebody please tell me where the last piece is? I have tried to finish this game for quite a while now.
