i've made a walkthrough:
get box of tissues
get tape from behind tv table
get bottle from fridge
get note from the right side in the cupboard under sink
get chopsticks from behind plant
zoom in on the top right of the window and use tissues on this to reveal code 487291
use code on red box and get key
use key to open door opposite tv and take razor blade
combine chopsticks, razor blade and tape to make knife
use knife on hanging doll to get code (upside down) 12928
enter code in green box to get videotape
use piece of tape on the little hole on the videotape and put it in the videorecorder
take it out again and turn over tape to reveal code 63942
enter code in yellow box to get key
open grey door on the right with the key
throw the bottle in the bathtub where you see the blinking star
take white key and use it on the cupboard under the sink to get white box
use the code from the note (53261) to open the box and get gloves
put the gloves in the washing machine and wash them
take the gloves out again and use them to get the block of ice from the fridge
throw the block of ice in the bathtub to get another key
use key on cupboard below the faucet in the bathroom to get pink box
right click onto the bathroom faucet and zoom to reveal code 19573
use this code on the pink box to get the final key
use this key on the door and you're out

boater, did you find it?, it´s at the right of the washing machine in the kitchen. To get there first click at the sink right of the fridge and than at the rightmost cupboard.
Sorry for the late answer, i´m at home now and my little son is playing samorost ( he has got 5 years only) and he won´t let me post ha ha

Hey Mercedes, so it was you who posted that comment!
I thought it was one of the funniest comments i ever saw on this site, been laughing a lot, really.
Anybody speaks square? just fantastic
L.O.L.
But it seems we both need a Japanese language from somewhere, or maybe as Diana just mentioned work with Babelfish. I don´t really know how to do that and so, i´ll figure it out somehow tomorrow.
Bye, take care

lasers pew x3, good walkthrough, i hope it helped rori, but only one small detail: you can´t zoom in at the faucet the normal way , you have to right click and than keep zooming in 3 or 4 times untill you are able to see the No. for the pink box. It took me a while to find that out.
I enjoyed this game a lot, big fun.
except for these squares ofcourse;.)

thank you EINKALDIER, i have xp at home but no internet connection and at work i have windows 98 and a 1 MB connection. I don´t know a lot about computers, just enough to check my e-mail and play these fantastic games at this site, so i will move myself following your advice as well as the advice and comments of Mercedes, Vbranam1, Diana and Lasers pew pew pew.
Happy square year to all of you ;.)

freewaydog, i have the same question, too. so i search the japanese escape website and i found below,
before we play this game , you try to find the "出" word and use flash software to enlarge it. and then you can see a bottle. open the bottle, get a rock.
use the rock on the broken wall ,get a key
use the key on the blue and white box in the closet, get a sweet potato
and the sweet potato is for the house owner if you play the Dassyutu series , you should know the house owner likes to design some escape games for his friend(the person who hangs in the box),mohikan head(Mr.辰已)

I should have done this 3 years ago ha, ha
There will be no more japanese games i can´t beat from today on.

Hey full..i suppose u dont have the page link to that do u..lol..i tried to do it thru regional language in my control panel..but it wouldnt work...had to find file on my system to upload..or needed disc...still didnt work...not doing it right obviously...if u do that'd be great...great idea..pewpew...i get that message all the time to download pack..but i usually ignore..lol..didnt think it would work..anyhow thanks..

Hello Mercedes, i tried as Diana adviced with Babelfish, but i couldn´t get it to translate for me.Than i googled;"japanese language pack" wich gave me many results but i choose the first wich is of Microsoft here is the link, just try:
office.microsoft.com/downloads/2002/ie_ja.aspx - 33k
I don´t if that 33k at the end is nescesary, i copied the whole thing for you.
Or try instead simply: microsoft.com/downloads you should get there as well.
If you get to the page, click at CONTINUE validation required, you´ll get a code( by downloading it) use that code for the actual download for the language pack.
All togheter it takes a little time, but o so much fun being able to play the Dassyutu series
I hope it works for you, let me know, ok

hey can u tell me something...just wanted to ask something here..when u downloaded it...does it appear as a little question mark on the task bar..on the bottom right hand corner..i had that there..like a language tool bar..closed it though cause i had no clue how to use it..and the link brought me to home page..went to downloads..but it didnt give file name..didnt know which one to pick..hate microsoft for that..lol..too much sh*t on their page..
-
Hey mercedes, glad you found it. As for me i didn´t have to "open" or activate anything, i just started the game again and automaticly it gave me the clues and numbers in "english"
As for the doubts you had about this Japanese invasion on your computer, YES!!!! and you will have to speak Japanese too from now on, your eyes will become smaller, you´ll turn yellow in a couple of days, there´ll be Sushi for breakfast everyday and your sons will be profesional whale-hunters.
;.D

you are right, maybe it´s time to close the subject. Altough im am very curious to know what SHUCHUn writes about this sweet potatoe and a different ending to the game, after all the scene with the bed and the crack on the wall and the painting has always been a mystery to me because it was of no use in the game itself. Could you maybe explain to me SHUCHU? i would apriciate it a lot
-
SHUCHUN, you are an angel!!!!!
Right now i am playing the "extended" version of the game, i found the Blue/white key but i have to go through the boxes first to get to the cupboard to open it to find this mysterious sweet potato. I already wondered from the beginning why the bed-scene was not used in the game.
I had to rearch a little to find the sign you mentioned first though.
Thank you so much again, it´s a complete different game now, LOL

Full: or anyone interested..
You may not get this..lol..been a few days since we posted..You know what other language pack u should down load as should i..is the German one..there are ALOT of coool german ones...point and click, and adventures..and u are sure about it just appearing when necessary right..lol..another thing..how is it ppl can right characters in their blogs..does it have anything to do with language packs..makes me wonder how they do it..just a thought

Hold your left click pressed and move it over the word(s) you want to translate
right click on the word(s) again and press TRANSLATE, select the language,ex. english to japanese
If you wish to move the translation to somewhere else than go to EDIT, at the left top of your screen, choose COPY and there where you want to place it right click and release it.
That´s what i did with a part of your post, but if you have the japanese language pack installed, you should be able to see japanese symbols , but no "squares".
But i think it also depends on your computer and the progams installed and if you work with i.e/firefox or opera, as i do .
give tit a try and let me know
r.o.t.f.l.o.l.
If you want to more escaping fun, try Trapped - The Abduction game.
