I got two girls from the book
Red circle from black book.Use cutter
got three shapes for the door, only need the round shape
Another pixel hunt - have knife, turned picture ( i don't understand Japanese ), found square and triangle ( used on door ) - sign is changing colour clicking on tha base of it...
i found all the shapes and put them at the door but dunno wat 2 do next...

it´s actually true, because it doesn´t seem you´re out as it lets you play again( at least in my case)
I have a blue triangle and a green square, the cutter, and the picture of the 2 girls. What do I do next?
I got the star!! it was in the drawer. u have to get the key from the inside cover of the black book
SPOILER
-take green square behind books
-on right, grey book take purple slice, go right
-take picture out red album,go right
- under the cushions is a blue triangle. In wastebasket a cutter
- turn the flower painting and put purple slice, go right
- traffic sign is a lamp. Click below to enlight iy an than turn it. There should be some text.
- take the black book,next the door, and with cutter, get key.
-Open the drawer with the key and pick up yellow star
- have a close look at the key and take red circle
- take red book and take the photo of the two girls
- put star, square .. in frame in the door.
- Click handle and OUT
You must take the picture of the girls with you.
can't get the purple slice out of the grey book, where do I have to click??
I am also trying to take the red circle out of the black book with the cutter, but it does not work. Have tried restarting the game, but nothing changed, I'm still stuck with the black and grey books.
i got the same problem.. cnt seem to get the black and the grey book.. eventhough, i got the knife, the triangle, the square and the pic of the girls..
Tried re-starting the game, but the probelm persists..
Can anyone help?
Can't seem to get out. I've put all shapes in their spot. got the picture, turned the sign and saw the writing. Nothing works.

when you open the black book there you should see a different color area on the right page use the cutter there and take the key. Then view the key with the "about item" and click the red circle.
Wow I'm out, donno how... kept clicking on the shapes on the door and clicked the handle.
i guess the black book i need is the one on the same shelf as the red album?
i'm stuck. looked at walkthrough & hints. my black book does nothing.
i have blue triangle, green square, utility knife, photo of 2 girls, translucent purple (w/white) square. i've played w/the light by glass door, seen the back, etc.
am i missing something? is my patience low right now? the flower picture...?
maybe i'll check back some other time, but the idea that this might be a glitch turns me off. spinning wheels takes the fun out of wasting time.
How do you turn the lamp around? I'm clicking everywhere but it won't turn around.
Ok...nvm....got the lamp to turn around.
But I did everything. I got all the shapes on the door and I have the picture but I still can't get out.
I understand what I have to do with the black book..it's just that I CAN'T TAKE THE DAMN BLACK BOOK...*I hate it when this happens*
Oh and what to do with the puple thing?
@kristella: turn around the picture with the flower, there should be some text. Put the purple card on it. Don't know how or why this should help, but it does...
restarted the game a few times and strange, but the black book did open itself now! However, I'm stuck trying to open the door. Nothing works... Stupid game...
aha! it seems you have to click the figures a few time before using the handle...

Game's incredibly buggy. I turned the flower picture around after putting the purple thing on it, and now I don't have it, and don't have anything to show for it either. It vanished. I suspect that the black / grey book is also a bug because I've restarted and haven't been able to click it open at all. Only the red book.
how do you turn the flower picture? and what about the black book? Thx.
Hey all, to all of you who can't take the black book : you have to read the back of the painting before you can take it.
The Japanese writings at the back of the painting, when seen through the purple thing, say "black book" (kuro hon).

yeah, i think everything has to be done turn by turn.. it took me a while to find the purple thingy and I still dont know what the writing on the round board means and the girls..
it must be fun to be able to read japanese though :D
So..I guess everyone figured out the stupid grey book thing? I can't get anything from it!
WALKTHROUGH
-Get the green square behind the books in the first screen
-Still on the first screen(with TV), click the beige book all the way on the right and get the purple square thing
-Turn right(screen with door) and click on the red book all the way to the right
-Get the picture of the two girls
-Turn right again(screen with couch) and get the cutter from the wastebasket
-Click the yellow pillow and get the blue triangle
-Click on the picture to zoom into it, then click on the lower right corner to turn it around
-Highlight the purple square thing and then click the words on the back of the picture to place it there
-Turn left twice(screen with door) and click on the black book
-Open the book and notice that it's a slightly different colour on the right side
-Use the cutter and get the key
-Highlight the key and click About Item
-Click the red circle to obtain it
-Highlight the key and use it on the locked drawer under the books
-Obtain the star
-Click the beige box on the door to zoom in
-Highlight each shape and place them into the right place(order doesn't matter)
-After they are set into the door, click on each one and zoom out, the door should be unlocked
If you don't get the picture with the girls, there will be a different ending. It looks like the figure of a person or something in the background... Too bad I can't read Japanese!
wow~i followed 'theredserpent' ,i click all the shapes repeatedly after awhile...i out the shape ther thn i click the handle and OUT!dunno why~
to those who DON'T follow the walkthrough to the letter and/or undid things:
BLACK BOOK: u need to put the purple slide behind the painting first
DOOR: the lamp needs to stay on before it opens
