Stuck trying to figure out this "number maze" paper I've found all the pieces for, as well as working out a number/letter puzzle in the wall cabinet.
Have some extra clues, but can't quite figure it out yet.

When you open to door for the pencil (you don't take it yet), check the door for the 3rd piece of paper.

use the screwdriver to the boiler(at the bottom) and the cord will fall down
You have to figure out the 4-digit code from the number maze. Type it in and that leads to the second room.
you plug in the water heater then change the tap from hot to cold
clicks-
Follow the maze on the paper from S to G and put that four digit code into the pad next to the door
After I plug the electrical cord into the box in the dark room, what happens next?? Also, dont know how to do the slider puzzle..Clues

officially stuck in the dark room. Found the key, got the photo of the last room, filled cup, plugged in the cord, now what?
you need the wrench from the box safe box..above the tub is a boxlike thing...keep clicking..use item oln it...step away and see gold key and thats what opens up safe box on shelf
use the wrench, empty your cup if you have cold water and fill it with hot

im so stuck in the dark room! i've plugged in the cord but cant figure out the slider puzzle... help please!
Slider puzzle is just trial an error. What I did to get started was to see where the balls would bounce back in the opposite direction they were originally going. Then, I new that that particular piece had to be a border piece.
u need gold key..from the box above the tub...use item in box..then u will see somethingm move..then step way...click it again u will see something shiny...gold key..in the box..u will get it when u stepped back from it
The gold key is in the panel to the right of the sink.

yes but if u add hot water to it..u see another letter on it...the side of it numbers on the bottom
for the slider,
find the black tile in the sink
put the black tile in the slider
look at the balls are bouncing to which way (the tiles' bottom,through,or top of them) and then determine where the tiles go(in the right order)
I think I hit a glitch because there's no key

Ahh, that blasted black tile in the sink got me! I was clicking all the black tiles on the front of the sink to find it!
u are looking in the box that looks like the box in the other room right..make sure whenu are in it..close up to it..and u use i think it was screwdriver.. will see something slide...then click somemore..step back..click same area...the same way u got the first key..shining..
The key i found from the right of the sink went in the slider puzzle. I still can't open the brown box on the shelf or find a wrench, though i can get back in the other room
The key that gets the wrench is found in the first room. It is silver. The gold key goes into the slider puzzle as mike said.

they both shine when they fall...silver and gold one...but the gold on is in slider puzzle now..just can't remember whether or not it was that that opened the box in shelf...it was either the two keys..or screwdriver.

You need to full complete the slide puzzle. That will unlock the door.

Glad to help for once!! Still no progress on the sum though, got some numbers and letters, but not enough yet!
Finally back in the first room and working on the number/word puzzle in the wall. Have some clues to work with.

Well, I cant seem to figure out this slider puzzle..I read your clue Shuchun, and I still dont get it..I agree with Mercedes though..This slider is sucky..
someone giveme a hint for slider puzzle pleassssssssse...does the blue come from the left or right..red left or right..giving me a headach..i can do normal ones...minutes flat..but this sickening thing..is driving me carazy..im so tired...arggg

if the balls hit the bottom of the tiles..you have to put them at the bottom of the slider
I must be dense b/c I just don't get this number/word puzzle even with shuchun's good hints. (Night, shuchun!).
Oh, merc, I thought you finished the slider. It's a bitch! (Pardon my language). The only hint I can give is to find out which tiles are border tiles, then work it from there. There are only 2 balls: red and blue.

Use the pencil on the paper you taped together.
Click the bottom of the heater above and the cord will drop down.
im gonna start to whineeeee....maybe even cry a little..wahh..
mercedes when you see the balls hit the side or bottom of a square that square is an outside piece of the puzzle. when a ball moves out of one square note which square it moves to next. If they are all in the right place the balls will bounce in a continuous line around the puzzle. It´s really confusing to keep track- good luck

in the dark room there is a plant looking thing on the shelf and when you pan over it you see a bubble pop up with a website on it. I went to the website and it said FonGeBooN with FGBN capitalized... may be a hint
what is the point of the red pencil tellin you the code to the second room when you have to get in the second room to get the red pencil?? am i being stupid or something? *sigh*.. im confused....

niff, you have to go back to the dark room and push the panel so it moves the pencil forward in the other room.

numbers in cabinet: instead of the numbers, click the open spaces to reveal letters... recreate letters from picture.

Tricky--You need to interact with the red object on the stack of papers on the desk and with the bottom of the clock to figure out the second word in the math problem.
on the right side of the left cushion on the couch it says star = fun

Click the bottom of the clock. You have to make sure that the photo you got from the dark room has an arrow pointing at the bottom. If not, try putting the picture in some water.
Niff, you may have to be to a certain point in the game, but when I clicked on the bottom edge of the clock it let me take a closer look at it.

How's the slider puzzle coming, merc?
Ok, I'm ready to all out cheat and get some answers. Anyone know what to do for/after the number/word puzzle equation thing? I know what the words are and believe I have the numbers correct as well. I've tried switching around the numbers that I could, and even switching the words, but no go. Hints?
You can't get the pencil until you get into the 2nd/dark room.

Don't expect anything to happen with the numbers/letters puzzle, it just gives you a correspondance between numbers and letters. Then use this to OPEN the door ...

Diana, finally got it. The end goal isn't to find the values for "love" but for another word that's been in front of us the entire time we've fighting with the stupid keypad.
i must be dumb or something b/c i now have tape, an expandable screw driver, a paper clip, 2 pieces of paper, a key and a cup. what now?
Am really annoyed, just figured it out and now for my own piece of mind MUST complete the finishing steps!!

You need 3 pieces of paper...then tape them together. Follow the maze for the 4-digit door code.

yay! finally found the 3rd piece. now i feel dumb. haha.
Third piece of paper is found on the open door of the wall panel where you got the screwdriver.
For number/letter equation. As long as you have the equation FUN + PAIN = LOVE as well as the corresponding numbers, take the numbers that are associated with the word "OPEN". Use that on the keypad and voila! (You can also try it for the world LOVE" but that is a dead end).

Ok, totally not ashamed to admit that I GAVE UP!! Only thing I left with was a headache and feeling sick after watching the slider puzzle. GL to all that try and WTG if you escape.

I'm having trouble finding which numbers stand for which letters. So far, I only know P,A, and N. Any hints for the others?
Well, I cannot do this sucky slider puzzle!! I have wasted too much time on it..This could have been a really good game if the slider wasnt put in there..Oh well, got to go anyway...Thank you Shuchun, Diana, Mercedes, Niff for your help...Good luck to anyone esle trying to solve this damn slider..
Walkthrough:
-Open side table drawer and get the tape.
-Turn right and shake the right side couch pillow until you see something shiny fall. Get the silver key.
-Open the brown cabinet in the all and move the numbers until you get the paper piece (1).
-Go right twice and click the top of the desk. Click through the papers and get the paper piece (2). Get the paperclip. Also get the cup from the desk top. View the cup and click the bottom. Note the number “8”.
-Click the blue book and note the P ≠. Continue through the book and get the handle.
-Right again and click the wall panel. Attach the handle. Open it up and get the screwdriver. Note the red pencil is out of reach.
-With the wall panel still open, click the door and get the paper piece (3).
-Use the tape on the paper pieces to get a completed maze paper. Follow the path from S to G and use the code 5941 on the keypad next to the door.
-Enter the room and the door closes. Click the bottom shelf near the skull and get the flashlight. Turn it on.
-Use the silver key on the orange toolbox on the shelf and get the wrench.
-Click the picture frame and get the picture.
-Go right. Click just under the white box on the wall. Use the screwdriver to open the small panel. Plug it the cord.
-Turn on the faucet and run the picture under the cold water. Note the arrow that appears on the photo.
-Now remove the faucet wheel with the wrench and place it on the left faucet. Turn on the hot water and place the picture under the water. Note that A=4.
-Fill the cup with hot water. Note the letter and recall the number at the bottom. Now you know that P=8.
-Look to the right of the sink and note the panel on the wall. Click clicking it until you see something shiny. Get the gold key. Click inside the panel itself. Now view your screwdriver and extend it into a telescoping screwdriver. Push the panel back.
-Zoom out and take a look at the tiles on the front of the sink. Go to the third column from the left, second black tile down. Click it and get the black tile.
-Turn right and click the panel to the right of the door. Insert the gold key to activate it. Now the fun begins.
-Complete the moving slider puzzle. The best hint is to find out which tiles are the “border” tiles and work from there. When you are done, use the black tile in your inventory and slide it in. Now the door is open. Thank god for light!
-Remember from the picture the arrow pointing under the clock. Click under the clock and note the small hole. View your paperclip and click it to open it up.
-Insert it in the small hole until you see a paper roll out. Zoom out and note that the water drop = PAIN.
-Turn back towards the couch and lift the right pillow. Click the right side of the left pillow and note that star = FUN.
-Open the panel above the couch. Click the small square boxes so that the top one reads “FUN”, the second one reads “PAIN”, and the bottom one reads “LOVE”.
-You already know that P = 8 and A = 4. From the given numbers you can deduce that N = 5. Then you will find that FUN = 725, PAIN = 8435, LOVE = 9160.
-Find the numbers that correspond to the word OPEN = 1805 and enter that into the keypad. The door will open a new door and you’re out!
(You can also try typing in the code for LOVE, but that will just create a door with a red X).

You can also use the red pencil on the taped pieces of paper and it will already fill in the path that you used to get the door code in the first place.

Once you use the red pencil in the number maze, put the paper in the last page of the blue book. Then turn back one page and you get another letter for the equation.

when we played on March 10, the version is normal.
the author changed the version into "hard", "normal" and "easy" three versions on March 11.
if you choose hard level, the game doesnt offer the cup hint(p=8) it only offer you two hints(A=4 and F=7)
