MWU - Extraordinary Stairway Escape
MWU aka Extraordinary Stairway Escape is another Japanese point and click type room escape game by YellDragon. In this game, you try to escape the stairway because there is a fire in the building. Find items and clues and using them to get out. Language may be problem to figure out this game. There are 2 possible endings. Scroll down the page to begin. Good luck and have fun!Play MWU
Extraordinary Stairway Escape Walkthrouth by Luly:
-go to the highest floor
-click on the left on the wall, it will appear a closet.
-click on the left door of the closet and take the brush
-go to 2F floor
-use the brush on the door and take fire extinguer
-click on the fire extiguer and then on “about item”
-click on the yellow thing, and take the key
-use the key on the other door on the closet
-take the paper
-go to the door with the code and input 144 and you’re out!!

Hmm, need a code. Think there is a language barrier?
yeah, i was just gonna say the same thing.
there's the formula 1x3+2x4 but then there's the number 6 at the end of the writing.
another writing on the wall has the circled 4 and a japanese character.
kinda surprised it jumps right into the code. it would be helpful for someone to translate, i think...

what is the symbol for the 1 on the bottom floor?
I clicked on the small print at 2F and my computer froze twice. I think you need to have this as this is the formula, but it is really frustrating.

why is no one else having the same problem as me....that it freezes up everytime I click on 2F. I give up on this one.
jaybird, on the top floor, to the left there is a cabinet with an item. then you can get into a room for another item (which actually yields 2 items), then you can get into the other side of the cabinet for another number and symbol.
1 = fire...

used the key on the cabinet and got a card saying

Seems like a glitch? I actually tried clicking 2F but I did not freeze up.
it has two symbols...2 . (big dirt) (small dirt )
okay, so
1= fire
2= dirt/earth
3= ? (haven't found it yet)
4= water
6= light
maybe 3 is going to be air, since all the others are elements?
Got this from another site:
Japanese text from wall, saying :
"Password 1×3 + 2×4
Hint (6-strokekanji for "light, shine") = 6"
Then :
1 fire (4 strokes)
2 earth (3 strokes)
4 water (4 strokes)
There is just one missing.

water, fire and the dirt is equivalent to earth, so what elements are we missing? wind?

You're ahead of me jay. Once upon a time, I NEVER learned Japanese.
The strokes related to the numbers you have to multiply with each other.
So that means 68 or 72? Doesn't work.
stroke means how many time you have to use chinese writing brush to writh the character...

風 is nine strokes.... I can't find 風 in the game though...

i checked the periodic table to see if whatever the number answer is equalled an "element" on the table. but since i don't know the number solution, don't know what to match with. of course, this path is probably all wrong, lol

It is on the right side of the closet.
"wind" is next to the cabonet :)
But why are we using strokes again? Because 火 is 4 and 土 is 3... *confused*

fire * wind + earth by earth times * water
= 4 * 9 + 27 * 4 = 144
is ti correct this time?

All I have to say, is you guys are good. I never would have figured out the strokes meant how many brush strokes to write the character (and I am a painter, lol). Thanks for all your help!!!
here are three endings in this game (so far):
1)be caught---get out of 1F
2)only take a broom to leave by helicopter---the mission failed
3)take a notebook with you in the room on the first floor after you input the code ....good ending(get special reward)

dont click the door of the roof after you input the code...go to the room on 1F(the fire scene),and you will see a notebook in the room.
sorry....even though i enter the code and unlock the door, when i go downstairs to the 1F room i still cannot find the notebook
