Go to the wall of the building on the far left hand side of the screen, and the first gnome should be sitting on what looks like a fuse box.

hidden in the rim of one of the old boats on the left hand side of the screen.

Hidden inside part of the metal structure next to the boats

Clicking left of the building with the rows of windows and boxes will get you to a scene with a large ship. Go there and the gnome should be hidden in the pipes near the top of the screen.

Click at the BASE of the metal structure in front of the building with the broken windows. Keep clicking to the right and you should come to a sleeping gnome on top of a cog.If you go left and zoom in on the right edge of the little roof over those fuse-box like thingies, you'll find another gnome hiding underneath.

Click on the small roofed structure next to the tower base. Looking carefully at the roof you should see a hat poking out... yup, another gnome :)

Click on the building behind the metal tower, and a gnome is hidden in what appears to be a round air vent

Click carefully next to the building with the broken windows, and you will come to a grassy patch with a wooden reel. A gnome is sitting on some hose at its base.

click on the building to the far right of the scene. One of the gnomes is hidden in a hole in a white structure on the rightmost edge of the building.

the last gnome is sitting on a tap attached to some piping on the building on the right hand side of the screen.
