To find certain items..like the key behind the couch..you have to be in view of the teacups..when you can move tea cups. There are two views..if you are in view of the teacups when able to move them.
Click bottom corner of couch and when in view of beside couch..is there that you can find key at back of couch..

Let me rearrange the walk through:
1.View the tea cups and click to the space near the all and the couch.
2.Look further at the back of the couch and get the key on the floor.
3.Go to the drawers near the table.
4.Open the top drawer on the right hand side with the key to get the bag.
5.Then,open the 2nd drawer to get the knife.
6.Pick up the black paper with the robot.Words on the paper means "from top to bottom".
7.Click to the space between the drawer and the wall to get the red paper "LOVE".
8.Look at the door and go ahead to pick up the red paper "ALIVE".
9.Go to the cabinet under the TV and open the right hand side drawer to get the flashlight.
10.Pick up the red paper between the cabinet and the wall on right hand corner.This paper is "TRAVEL".
11.Look at the hint from the couch."L>>R"
12.Look at the color of chopsticks on the table.from the hints,code for the door is Green->Aqua->Red->Yellow
13.Go inside the bathroom and look at the rubbish bin to get a blue paper on left hand side.
14.One the right hand side is the safe.Input the password: mermaid and get the key
15.Search the rooms and get 2 more papers from the bathing room and toilet.
16.Go back to the dining room and click on the escape door.You will find it blackout.
17.Use flashlight and wait.You will see a mammal.He will ask you what his name is.
18.Input the password: manatee .Wait and GO OUT!

I got all of that but not out yet, except I sometimes get the manatee, or whatever it is, to appear turned around or backwards, plus I can click below the TV to see open, empty, shelves, and the same under the two cups of coffee, and I can drag the cups around, but they always pop back to the same place they started in. I also can read the word "escape" on the wall when you click there. Interesting though, but I can attempt to go back the way I came, but it always goes to a different place, but I can sometimes get back to where I was by clicking twice on the direction I wanted to go in, instead of clicking once. I found that if I click in one place on the manatee, that I'll get different messages, but in another place it will show the backwards manatee instead, and in another place, it changes the color of my view screen and then I can't do anything until I click on a direction arrow. These are all first time clicks when first approaching the manatee, except in the one spot where extra clicks show other messages.

In case you haven't figured out how to get out of the bathroom, just two right-arrow direction clicks, then click on the door handle of the narrow door that's almost transparent. I finally got out...once I figured the color code out, as it was just backwards to what I thought the L>>R meant, plus the unlock code for the key retrieval in the bathroom was tough for me, but once I thought of water, like where the manatee would be normally living, then I just tried names of what you find in the sea, whether it would be real or fiction, then I finally got the clue there, and of course, once I got the key I could open the exit door, and after I entered the escape password when the manatee showed up again, then it did take a few seconds before it showed "The End."
