Hi Megi, Same as you and i combined wire with paperclip, opened that box and turned switch. Now i can turn all the other switches but i have no idea what this changes.

Hmmm...I have 2 paperclips (one bent), a piece of paper, some brown string? and...that's it! Can't find screwdriver and can't combine the string with either paperclip :o(

How do you combine the string and paperclip, I can open one and click on the other but they don't go together.
jacky, click right down of the big tube, than click again right side (below) and at upper right side there is a hotspot too.
Another one is left upper side of the big tube in the first screen.(wire)

Before you can combine the paper clip to the string, you have to bend one of them. The one you're connecting to the string is the UNbent one.
Flip the switches one at a time. Each of the five will take you to a different room. I've picked up a bunch of other crap from the other rooms.
In the pedestal room, make sure to click under the right pedestal for a light bulb.
In the last room, click around the back side of the huge machine to see the opening. You connect the bare wires with the bent paper clip.
You can wet the paper on the water thingy, which gives you a diagram.
That's as far as I've gotten now.
I have turned the lonely switch off again and then on again and the combination for the five was different. I think it changes all the time.
Now i have charcoal, punch, blue watercolour and a strange rounded thing.
Found all the items, took the two rags and put them in the puddle room after adding the water color. Have used all except the two drawings and the bulb under glass.
Each switch leads you to a different room. Only use one switch at a time.
i put the glass thing on the light bulb and put them on the hole one in rooms..i have some kind of code..
Put the bulb in the glass in the dark room with the hole in the ground. It'll light up the wall with what appears to be the buttons you need to press in the machine room.
I still don't know how to interpret the papers.
I have 2 diagrams and a picture on the wall...don't understand how I should use them in the last room though!
Make that 2 pictures on 2 walls!
You can make the flower pictures the same as the diagram on the wall but not the little swirly dotty ones.
I know...I've clicked the flower parts I'm supposed to, but don't understand the rest :o(

I have used the charcoal at the wall in the first switch room.
I still can't figure the diagrams in inventory. I think I have the flowers clicked correctly.
The only other hot spot is the door that will hopefully let us out.
which room is the huge machine in?
Zazie - check out the rooms and see if the bulb and the cover looks like it belongs in a particular spot.
The machine, for me, was in Room 5, meaning I flipped only the last switch. Apparently that may change depending the game.
I also charcoal'd the circle in another room to get another set of diagrams, three this time, but nothing that appears to link the papers with the Machine Room.
For the record, I've discovered five rooms apart from the initial one. If anyone has found any more, let me know.
I never found a bulb. Where is that?

Solution to the flower:
the two diagram sheets show the order of the bigger and the smaller petals (bigger = solid dots, smaller = circle with small dot inside). At the center of the flower: outside square = circle with smaller circle inside, rhomboid = three circles, center dot = thick circle.
On the panel where you can set the flower pattern, the symbol sequence shows which one of the big petals, small petals and central elements you should switch on. E.g. four dots means the right-side big petal, three circles with dots inside them means the lower left small petal etc.
Where did you all use the bent paperclip?

How do i know which ones of the big petals i shall click ?
You only have to switch on one of the four big petals and one of the four small ones. The number of their corresponding symbols shows you which one. Just examine carefully the two sample patterns that are painted on the wall and illuminated by the lightbulb. You have to apply the same logic to the two panels on the machine.

Falatka76 help!! Given that the black dots rpresent the large petals, how can one dot represent the up large petal and three dots represent the left large petal? It doesn't follow a 1,2,3,4 sequence.
Finally i have got it.
I had :
Left side flower : Click the upper left small petal and the right big one and in the center the square and the rhomboid
Right side flower : Click the below left small petal and the below big one. In the center the rhomboid and the dot.

Help please! I'm in first room and checked all combinationes of the switches, but nothing happens. What shall I do?
I understand that the solid dots represent the big petals and the small dots within a circle represent the smaller petals.. how do you know what represents a square, and a rhomboid, and the centre dot? also, how does the pattern work? logically it should be a 1,2,3,4 pattern, but I don't see any such pattern.. can anyone help point me in the right direction??

after unscrewing floor thing. open switch lever. wall panel. all switches origional dark blue and one light blue. so room 1 would be Lb,db db db db, room 2 db Lb db db db etc. hope this helps.

??? Under the panel are 5 green switches and above there are two lamps, the lower is dark blue, the top light red. When I use the green lever to the left move, the lower the get light blue and the top dark red. And here I'm stuck! :-(

Nevermind...found it.
I STILL can't find the screwdriver.
I'm starting all over I found the screwdriver the first time now I can't it's around the back on the left or right of the big white and gray thing in the middle of the room.
I found the screwdriver it's on the right click on the bottom where you found the paper and then when your in that spot click up on the same screen it will turn you around the thing and there is the screwdriver hope this helps

I play these religiously and I CANNOT find any paperclips. I got the wire, or rope, whatever, and the paper and the screwdriver right off the bat. Went through the whole comment page. Seems everyone has found the darn ppclips but me...Heeeeelp!

Shannon, I believe there is a switch on the side of the portal machine you need to turn on before you can turn on the switches in the box...

Say its a clock..meaning the only pedals to click should be dark..all others light..
Click the two triangles..so that it looks like 11:15
Click the outer square and the inner square...no circle.
Other flower..
click the outer triangles..so that it looks like 7:30..

If anyone wonders..the pictures upstairs you see with lightbulb..are upside down..is how i got pattern....But I see now that someone else has posted how to do it as well in better detail.

I needed, i connected the astonishing paperclip in 5. room.
What a great game! Found everything but thank you to Mercedes for helping me get into outer space! Was having a bit of trouble interpreting the codes correctly so your help was greatly appreciated...it's 1am but I wasn't stopping till I had it! Goodnight everyone!

Walk Through
(Hint: If you have a hard time finding hot spots, press TAB)
First- on the floor on the right is a light grey dot thing, grab it. It is shown to be two paper clips. Click on them and one of them becomes bent.
Next- click on the area between the box looking thing on the wall and the tube. There will be a brown string, Take it. Connect the unbent paper clip with the string.
Then, click on the lower right side of the tube. When it zooms up, click the lower right side again. You will find a piece of paper, take it.
Go back to the close up of the right side of the tube, click a little above the area you clicked before. There will be a screwdriver, Take it.
Go back to normal view. Click on the box thing on the ground.
Use the paper clip/string on the little black square on the box thingy. Then use the screwdriver to get rid of the screws. Then click on the cylinder thing. It will show a switch. Flip it.
Everything get's REALLY loud here. Go to the box on the wall. You will see 5 switches. Each switch will take you to a different room. You will need to go back to each room multiple times.
Third Room
You don't need to go to the first room or the second room right away, so it's best to go to the third one first.
There will be three pedestals. Grab the things from the pedestals. Do not leave the room yet! Click on the pedestal on the right. There will be a light bulb. Take it. (You can combine the glass covering with the light bulb now or later.)
First Room
Now you can go to the First room. Use the charcoal you grabbed from the third room and use it on the wall. There will be some symbols there. (It's not really useful. But it gives you an excuse to draw on the walls :D)
Second Room
Okay, now if you didn't combine the glass cover with the light bulb, do it now. Then put the light bulb onto the whole in the ground. It will show some sort of code.
Fourth Room
There is a broke pipe shooting out water. Around it is a puddle. Put the watercolor into that puddle. Then get the piece of paper you grabbed and put it into the water. It will show some sort of code. Grab the plunger/broom thing.
Back to the Second Room
Using the plunger/broom thing, get the piece of paper on the wall.
Back to the Fourth Room
Put the new piece of paper into the water. You will get yet another code.
The Fifth Room
Okay, now you are in the MOST IMPORTANT ROOM. By now you should have the two pieces of paper with the codes and the bent paper clip.
Click on the Lower right part of the machine in the room. There will be two cut wires. Use the bend paper clip to connect them.
Really loud again. Click on the lower part of the machine with the two plates with the flower symbol thingys.
For the flower on the right, click on the small petal pointing North West (Upper Left.) Click on the big petal pointing East. (Right) Then click on the square in and the diamond looking thing in the center
For the flower on the left, click on the small petal pointing South West (Lower Left.) Then click on the diamond thing and the dot in the center.
Go back to normal view. Then click on the upper part of the machine. It will open up. And then you’re out! :D

I really enjoyed this game! It took me the longest time to find the screwdriver though! Then it took longer for my brain to figure out the meaning of the arrows. I gotta start taking the short bus again I guess. I've forgotten all my Logic classes. Grrrrrrrr!
