ReplyDeleteLol I looked around the room so fast, I didnt even see the door. I thought we had to break the window/2 way mirror looking thing to get out haha

ReplyDelete1. On white table, click the brown stand. Once zoomed in, click the blue spot on the left side for the screwdriver handle.
2. Go right. Click between the toolbox and the table leg. Once zoomed, click again between the board and the table leg. White paper is useless. However, take note of code and get second piece of screwdriver.
3. Go right twice. Click on the wine rack on the four bottles together. There is a key in a bubble hidden there.
4. Zoom out and go back to the fireplace. Put key in bubble in the fireplace. It will melt.
5. Click the off colored panel on the left wall next to the fireplace. It will open. Enter the code found on the leg of the table (521436). A guage and a switch are inside. Use the screwdriver to turn the switch. Zoom out and the fire will be off in the fireplace.
6. Retrieve 2 keys from the fireplace. One that you put in and in the back, there is another that looks white.
7. Go left and open the toolbox with the yellow key. Retrieve hammer.
8. Zoom out and go right twice. Open the fridge with the green key and get liquid nitrogen.
9. Use nitrogen on doorknob and hit it with the hammer & you're out!

ReplyDeleteEvery hint I had to use, I found out I had already tried to do that repeatedly but hadn't hit the teensy weeny hot spot whereever the heck it was. after getting the hint I go back and try clicking another thousand times to do whatever is needed.
Pixel hunts are the cesspools which unimaginative, lazy game designers hide in.

Where are the visual clues for, for example, the right spot in the fire, or the wine bottles?
It's really frustrating to go for the hints and find instructions to do exactly what you've been repeatedly trying to do!
This would be an elegant, quick game if not for that.

ReplyDeleteTo whoever designed this game. I could not read the stupid code on the side of the table leg. While the shadowing made the view look 3 dimensional, the area with the code was so dark that I could not even think of reading the text.

i just wondered if the extra inventory space was there for a reason or not. I was never able to open the purple box on the table. could it have something to do with that? i got out, first time 377 seconds - second time, 97. i enjoyed the game, but i have known for a long time that nitrogen will freeze stuff to make it breakable. fun fun
