Hi everyone, first time poster, anyone know what to do with the compasses in the wardrobe??
So now I'm in the room with the telescope and have no idea what to do or how to get back
to return the same with genie
just take the first sign

In the second room with telescope you can put your items on the white pedestrals on the round table, then take a closer view to the 5 yellow panels in front of you and wait. They will start turning, then click the lever.
This is where i am.

I clicked the lever and the thing below the circles turned into a painting of an old man pointing up
Just tried every combination with the compasses, must be linked to something else. I have no sound so if something clicked I have no idea.

I asked the genie for luck and got a new puzzle. He laughed when I asked for vodka. I wonder how many hats he has...
To reveal the picture you have to put things on the table then get close up to the medals and wait until they start spinning. Each medal represents a different zodiac sign so you have to wait until they are in the right order of months then pull the lever.
the picture has nothing to do with the jug!!!
Errr stuck angain got a picture of a man and now can't do anything else. Is everyone else having this much trouble?!!

do you think the object that goes with each planet has to do with the roman gods they were named after, like the sword for mars because he's god of war? i can't figure the other one's out though

I'm still stuck in the first room with a barrel,bucket,cork screw,what looks like a small shield,sword,& some sort of moon shaped statue. I cant do the levers on the box or the dials in the wardrobe. HELP! PLEASE!

I've found almost nothing by myself, in this game (for instance, I didn't guess that the jug could burn, doesn't make sense for me)...
I don't understand the « luck » puzzle either. I can click letters, numbers and symbols, make the tile turn, pull the levers... so what ?...
There is no clue for the wardrobe compasses, and the wooden box puzzle seems completely a matter of luck...

I can't get my jug to light. it is the gold coloured jug?
for the ring and the head you have to use the sword on the statue in the wardrobe.

I have the items on the table also from the middle out but nothing happened.
start from the middle and follow the lines so you get the right order. the ring is on the last slot on a line and the small statue on the last one between two lines

Ok I've been trying this. If I do this and look from left to right I see an order of, ring/collar, statue with crescent moon, sword, gold coins, flaming urn/jug, statue head, flower, shield... is that correct?

Then use the bottle you get on the one with the genie and you get two new locations but I'm really stuck now

Be sure that crescent moon is placed on spot that is between lines (no line runs through it).
Start from the middle and follow the lines to make sure the order is jug, gold, head, flower, sword, shield, statue with crescent moon, ring.
Someone else posted the the moon statue and ring in opposite order but this worked for me.

From left to right :
Statue with crescent moon, ring, sword, gold, jug, head, plant, shield (changing the order of the 2 firsts doesn't work either).

In the puzzle with the coloured stars. To the left is a skeleton whose eyes change colours. Maybe to match those colours with the stars? your can also take his leg.

After u take the skeleton's bone and open the stars puzzle, u can take the mirror and go back to 1st room. Put the mirror on the table and use the bone to stable it. NOW STUCK!!
Has anyone opened the box/cupboard with all the stupid locks on it? Or is it just a red herring?
i've tried opening the lock thing for a while and seeing as i'm still stuck on the first 2 rooms eventhought i did the table guess i'll be working on it longer

There is some sort of metal bar at the bottom of the ladder.

I still don't get the table. Do you have to do something in another room before it will work? What am I missing?
I can't move the ladder but i noticed when you use the corkscrew on the symbol then you can click the middle brick in the diamond shaped area and a man in a pose appears.
Table doesn't work for me either. I have all the items, but neither order posted here does anything.
What we need (us weaklings) is a walkthrough, even if it's partial. Help!!

if you put the metal bar in front of the mirror by the skeleton, you get another metal bar.
may be you left the key in the first room

My closet opened and now im in a room where my mouse goes in the opposite direction.
I feel completely stupid here. I only see a ladder in the ladder room and I have no idea what to do in the skeleton room.
Ladder room: remove thing under ladder and change signs with corkscrew.
Skeleton room: solution is here somewhere
in the mirror room you have to put the number of angles for each picture
count the corners of the symbols on the small doors in the mirrowroom und click the number. then it opens the small doors and skeletons come out. i took the bins on them. but now stuck
did anybody know what to do now?
I'm stuck, used up my buckets on the skeletons poping out. Got 2 metals bars, a metal ball, corkscrew, barrel, mirror and bone.

I am also in the mirror room. I put cans on the heads of the skeletons, lost them all, now I can't even leave the room with the genie!
when i enterd the mirror room i saw a bucket on the floor. I guess i forgot to click it, in any case it has disappeared now and i had only 5 buckets to catch the skelettons. What now ?

you can set up mirror by skeleton and place reflected copy of metal piece not sure what else to do

How many buckets did you use on the skeletons? I think we maybe just need one more bucket to solve that part as I only had 5?

Reggie, I think I found them on the first level just sitting around. the ball is black with a ring on it for a chain or something and the barrel just looks like a normal barrel.
I just remembered we have one more place in the skeleton room (at least). Below the star puzzle is a locked hole. It needs a 4 digit code and has a stick man on it like those in the ladder room. I'll try to figure it out now.
how should i set the compases in BOTH cupboards?

Suspiria666: I found the barrel now, it was hiding behind the cupboard door. I remember the ball now from the game I closed earlier but for the life of me I cannot find it now!
Let's hope someone figured out the stickman trapdoor code, this game is kicking my ass!
Place the compass of the first cupboard exactly as they are in the second one, but mirrored !
Blue arrows should be like this :
down, half right down, up and half right down.

tried lion, leon, stop, walk, star for the stickman code. but doesn't work
in the ladder room, the circle is the only one i can't fix to be an astrological sign. It looks like it should be taurus, but no luck. Any ideas?
I also tried MARS and OPEN but nothing.
Sassylass, you have to hit the area of the symbol you want to change so try clicking all over the circle and the grey area around it?
I have no idea what to do now so I'm gonna wait for dcggames' walkthrough :))

I like this game, it is keeping my brain occupied :) Finally one that is not too short!
think in the "luck puzzle" you have to calculate anything but i don't know how

Personally I find that advice worthless as I have read the previous comments and seem to be missing something.
If anyone else who has needed advice (and gotten it) can help a young brother out good karma will be bestowed upon you.
tfgators: you have to go to the skeletonroom to the skeleton. put the mirrow and the bone on the table, the 1st key in front of mirrow and take 2nd key out of the mirrow
tfgators, fill in answer for star puzzle, get mirror then leg from skeleton put both on table to left of skeleton put first key in front then u can take the reflection key also
Well there are lots of steps you need to do tfgators before you can make the key and you have not said where you are.
To be less worthless then :P Put the mirror you got from the star puzzle on the table by the skeleton in the same room and hold it up with the bone from the skeletons leg. Place the first key you found in front of the mirror and click the reflection and you will have two keys.
The answer to the star puzzle is on this page, I don't remember it, sorry.

about the luck puzzle: in old castle 1 you had to spin the dial four times and see where the number 1 ended up on the board and set the levers accordingly. in old castle 2 it was the same except you had to use number 2 instead of 1.
did you notice that the eyes of the skeleton change colors? think it has sth to do with the cards there are in fron of him, but some of the colors of the eyes are not in the cards, for ex blue and red I'm stuck and also cannot open the small doors although put the numbers of corners
marijo, had same prob and for some reason on the left bottom door 2 worked instead
The doors are top: 3, 5, 7. Bottom: 0, 4, 2
I forgot there is another bottle in the skeletons hand. I wonder if that opens the last location on the genie list? I can't get it out though :(
