  5. Got the cogs done, and grabbed the handle and it's been frozen on a black screen for about 10 minutes. There is no way I'm getting that stupid key out of the bucket again. Or reloading the game for that matter. Anything interesting happen after you pull the handle?

  10. Just to anyone else struggling with the cogs, there are little arrows on them that you have to line up with the directions of the compass so the first one would be at 3 o clock for east, 12 for north, 3 again for east and 9 for west... I was clicking on them as it they were labelled NESW from right to left... so I was clicking the second then the first then the second then the last... DUH... no wonder it wasn't working

  11. I am just starting...found a key, and me being the woos I am, wont put my hands in the stinky water. I wish there were some gloves.

  15. How do you make the boat pass through the grate ? It won't.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Lordy I am stuck where people are talking about some lock on the ceiling. I can find the trap door, but not where to place this key. I must be really dense today.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Pascale my boat is stuck too, it's just sitting in the drain teasing me.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Ok, I still cant find the lock for the trapdoor in the ceiling. I guess I need that screwdriver, they were all talking about. I think the boat is suppose to bring it, mine looks like it sunk...LOL

    ReplyDelete
  19. The game loaded ok, but now is stuck on 100% (and has been for about 10 minutes)...I have refreshed to no avail.

Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Just as I was about to give up, my boat sailed off, then I had to take it out and write help on it. Put it in the damned drain for another sail, and it comes back with a screwdriver...hooray!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Jenva, it seems that I have to remove the grate, but I have no tool to do this. I tried many times to cut the bottom of the upper box, but there is nothing that can be cut.
This game is definitely too difficult for me...

    ReplyDelete
  22. Devinyl, seems lots of people have had trouble with the loading, not sure about it freezing. All I can suggest is to refresh. Good luck.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Pascale, cut the back of the box, with the razor. The top box, cut the back wall, lower right.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Thanks a lot, jenva !
I clicked on the boat, it went away and came back with "WHAT" written on it. I use the pen on it ("HELP") and got the classic escape-games screwdriver...

    Be patient with loading :)

    1. Turn right. Take an edge form under the window (left side).

    2. Turn right. Check upper box. Use a cutting edge on the bottom right corner and get a file.

    3. Take folder form the left of the bottom box.

    4. Click under the door. Go right. Use a file to get a magnet.

    5. Go to the table. Read the book. Look under the table and get a pencil.

    6. Click a pencil twice and use an edge to sharp it.

    7. Check dark place on the wall on the right side (in the view with a table on the left). Use an edge to get a piece of wallpaper.

    8. Click wallpaper twice. Then click: in the middle, bottom right corner, upper left corner, upper right corner, bottom in the middle – you will get a boat.

    9. Turn right. Look at a bucket. Click on water. Use a magnet on the bottom of bucket. Move it very slowly to the top. Take a key.

    10. Use a key to open a chest. Take a head and a note.

    11. Click a head twice. Turn it around and use a file to get a second key.

    12. Look at the left corner (in the view with a chest). Use an edge to cut the floor. Use a file to take a grating of. Put a boat on the water. Click on the water. Take a boat and use a pencil on it. Put a boat on the water again. Then it’ll back take a screwdriver.

    13. Go to the view with a chest and go up. Use screwdriver on the lamp. Use a second key on the hole. Click a head twice and use a key on it. Put a key into the hole. Click a key twice and use a file on it. Open a trap with a key.

    14. Click on the ladder twice. Take a plastic sheet.

    15. Turn right and take a note.

    17. Go to the attic and set the cogs, like a note said: ENEW (right, up, right, left). Pull the lever.

    18. Watch the ending.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Pascale...hahaha, why is there ALWAYS a screwdriver? Wait until you get to the cogs in the ceiling, I have no idea how to use the plastic sheet with the clues. This game has been very tricky.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Gorka, you say watch the end. I tore my hair out for THAT ending? I think I should have put my head in that bucket of yucky water with the key! hahahaha

    ReplyDelete
  28. jenva

I played this game in the morning (with a lot of bugs), but after I couldn't load it (to write a walkthrough) till now.

  32. Oh! The mirror site is faster!

    ReplyDelete
  33. What an absolutely Awful ending !!!!!!!!!! after all that work should have been a reunion or something. How very twisted.. :(

    ReplyDelete
  34. Use the magnet near the center bottom of the bucket. I had the best luck clicking just above the right-most strands of the mop. Then move the cursor millimeters at a time. When I moved the cursor, released the mouse button, then moved the cursor more I was able to get the key to the top. You will know if you have the magnet in the c correct spot when you get a second view of the bucket in the upper left corner.

    ReplyDelete
  35. That magnet/key in the bucket is enough to make me quit :/

    ReplyDelete
  36. what is the ending? no matter what site i go to i only get a black box

    ReplyDelete
  37. OH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD please someone post a description of the ending, i also have the balck screen freeze once i pull the silly lever and i don't have the patience to play the buggy game all over again...anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  39. hi red, are you still loading ? been 10 mins for me and only 3%, 3 time trying to play, never can get ashes from dolls head

    ReplyDelete
  40. This is starting to piss me off.
I was clicking all over to try to find the grate, and suddenly the game goes back to the introductory screen. I click 'skip intro', only to find that everything except my folder disappeared and I can't get them back. I refreshed the page and started the game again-- only to have the same thing happen.

Play this game at your own risk.

  50. I...is this a nightmare....NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!Oh where do I start: I finally get the key out of the bucket because Mr. Girlie Man couldn't get his precious hands wet, (I only started loading this *&$^#(@& game last week...oh, the joys of a dial-up connection!), got through the rigorous process of actually playing the game, and instead of a cut-scene ending, I got a pitch black screen ... then cut to lever my anxious little mits pulled...sigh!!! At least they thanked me for playing, but ..... EEEEEGGADDDDDAMN (stronger expletives omitted!!!!!) I'm going to bed...this day has been too much! Peace OUT!
