OOH! Found screwdriver, upper right corner of the roof, when facing the door. Used on both sides of ladder, now have ladder.

ReplyDeleteOkay, more progress. Propped ladder up next to door, got to those vent things. You can open each one. Use the screwdriver on the bottom of the one on the right, get key. Key is NOT for door apparently (it didn't work for me) but I can't find what it goes to. Can also zoom on Satellite, but can't figure out why yet, if for any reason at all.

after you get the key go back and turn around. It opens roof vent thing on right facing the regular antenna.

When facing the door (NOT zoomed into it) click the upper right corner of the room. You should zoom in and see the screwdriver.

ReplyDeleteI hate it so much when you can zoom on things that don't do anything. There's NO way there's enough stuff on this roof to use every zoom point, which means they're just decoys.
And you know, I said before I liked the Duck Hunt ducks. Well if you're gonna put them in there, couldn't you at least give us a light gun to shoot the things down with? :P

ReplyDeleteUpper right corner of the vent is a little black spot. It's hard to see, that's what was throwing me off. Lean in to see it, consider adjusting the brightness/contrast of your screen if need be...

ReplyDeleteSooze, once you get the correct view of the vent on the right, there is a little black slot on the upper right hand corner. Key goes there.

ReplyDeleteWalkthrough
-Click upper right corner of the floor. Get screwdriver.
-Click bottom of screen to turn around. Click right side of ladder, use screwdriver to undo screw.
-Repeat with left side of ladder. Back out once. Take ladder.
-Turn around. Select ladder, put it on right side of tan door structure. Click the right vent (you can reach it now).
-Click the line between each slat and notice they open. Except the one on the bottom. Use screwdriver to pry it open. Take key.
-Back to view of door. Turn around.
-Click right vent (looks like a right triangle). When zoomed in, click right side of it. In new view, look in upper right corner for key hole. *Note:* May be hard to see. Use key there. Look in vent, see immovable green box. Back out three times.
-Turn around to see view of door. Click one of the ducks going by until you get the blue key. Apparently these ducks like to steal necessary items from maintenance men. Should report this to the city, but that's for another game.
-Return to green box. Use blue key on key hole. Why the blue key opens the green box is a mystery, and is completely counter intuitive to everything an escape gamer has learned in their long, frantic point-and-click career. Should point this out to game creator, but that's for another time.
-Take wrench (almost forgot to say that :P) and back out three times.
-Turn around. Look at cone-shaped vent on the right. Look closely, and on the right side of the cone, somewhere between the tip and the space (the black part between cone and cylinder) there should be a faint, fuzzy area. Click this to zoom in on a bolted panel.
-Use wrench here, take green key.
-Pause to consider that you had to use the BLUE key to open the GREEN box, and use the tool from that to get the GREEN key. Curse the person who made this game.
-Use green key on green door. Notice door is technically green, but not only is it a different shade (puke green as opposed to the forest green of the key...and the BOX!) it looks like it's probably rusty enough you could have kicked it down.
-Congrats, you have completed the game. Although, ALSO counter intuitive to any gamer's instincts, you did not kill the ducks flying by. Should probably create own flash game where all items are obtained by viciously mowing down the ducks--after all, it appears the city is infested with them--and fashioning their corpses into whatever you need, but that's for someone less lazy. :P

DON't zoom IN the right cone, but look carefully the top of this cone when you are in the full door vieuw... and on the top of the cone, you'll see this magic little zone in darker grey... Don't be stupid like me to zoom in the other vieuw cause if you zoom in the cylinder under the cone...you will find ..NOTHING!

ReplyDeleteFor help with the birds/ducks, the key is on the bird that is BEHIND the building (smaller), not in front of. And the bird is coming from the right.
ReplyDeleteSince I have terrible hand and eye coordination I thought it was one of the birds in the FRONT of the building (bigger) and spent a good 10 mins trying to find the key! :p
