Can't figure out where to use hammer...

got an id card? used the hook on the window and removed a slat but not in my inventory. langauge is a problem me thinks, cant read those books

Good Luck

I'm finally in early again

Just kidding, have always wanted to say that. :-)

Ok, figured out the hammer, now with broken glass and second key

ive got one blue key, broken bottle bits and a piece of paper. where are you finding the other stuff?

hi all! just getting here, ill try to catch up

i found the hook under the bed and the power point next to the cabinet, nothing else! bottom draw is empty and cant use the blue key anywhere. no idea on the password for computer.

I got bad end also. I am going to try it again.

password for computer can be found after opening drawer with yellow, is hidden behind outlet. yellow key is somewhere close to clock/alarm

Out, got bad end too... Why don't they make these games in English?

bad end, hmm not sure im nuts on this game

where did you find first key?

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 6:53 PM

feel like a prat, cannot get anything else besides a crowbar(used), and a hammer could someone bloody tell me where to find these blasted keys i keep hearing about?

Hi all...first time poster. Get screwdriver in secret compartment of desk drawer

The piece of paper IS the id card, i think (click about item) Can't find any keys, bottle to break, etc.

Thinking about climbing into that bed...

Ugh. While clicking around looking for mysterious secret compartment, I clicked an ad or something and now must start over. (sigh)

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 6:55 PM

am completely hopeless. wont someone take pity on me and help?

there is a key behind alarm clock and one in the bottle to the right of the plant

Robyn--of sodding course its right under my bleeding conk. thanks for having pity on me

I am lost once I put the number code into the laptop.

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:00 PM

bottom of second drawer is of different colour than the others, must be "secret compartment" but how do i break into it?

what's the point of removing slat from blinds?

lemon-- you can use the binoculars to look out... don't see a point of doing that though

jill- i think i just clicked on the center of the drawer, i may have had the broken glass selected at the time.... i'm not sure

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:04 PM

pushed buttons on celly and some blokes in bad suits came and got bad end. =( i give up

Robyn, you're giving me WAY too much credit. I don't know why I play these, I couldn't find my way out of a paper bag. What binoculars?

lemon- I can't remember where I got them, maybe one of the drawers you open with the 2 keys you find.

does anybody know what to do once you put the password into the laptop? I want to try to escape without getting bad end again.

You know, I could only open the top drawer with blue key to get phone. It's a bloody miracle, seeing how I can't manage to open the middle drawer with yellow key, which I'm pretty sure I should be able to.

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:07 PM

robyn-must be tired. swear i am not usually this thick, and grabbing some tea and some milk tray, shall give it another go momentarily. cheers

lemon click right on the lock portion of the drawer.

Not to be dumb to the point of ridicule here, but what is number for computer? I have ID card, but can't figure out what the heck it says. I'm assuming I have to count the dots maybe? Could someone save me the trouble please?

lemon- find the screwdriver in secret compartment of drawer then go to right of book shelf. take outlet cover off to get another piece of paper.

Can't find the paper/id card nor can I find the password to the computer...I wish this thing was in english so I could understand it.

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:15 PM

ahhh settling back in with lovely chocolate and lovely tea. think may be all caught up but am stuck on 2nd piece of paper, and perhaps clock with 527 is some other hint?

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:15 PM

ugh...bad end

jill did you enter the number from the paper onto the computer?

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:19 PM

robyn-got strange drawing of warehouse? lofts? cannot locate other paper. thinking i should quit whilst i have a shred of dignity

You are exactly where I am. if you open the phone and push the round button you get a screen with a bunch of writing and some arrows you can change thing. I can't read Japanese or whatever language this is.

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:22 PM

i did that before and got bad end! quite puzzling indeed. where did you find the 2nd piece of paper?

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:22 PM

How do I get into the "secret compartment" in the second drawer. I see that it's a different color, but I'm clicking like mad and nothing's happening.

the pic on the comp. kinda looks lik the cell fone

Jill- I counted the "id card" as my first piece of paper. So I think we are in the same spot. I just got bad end again. I think I am done.

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:23 PM

lass- i had the same problem! click on the broken glass then the center of the compartment, should come up

Lass, You need to click the same place where the binoculars were.

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:23 PM

nvm got it...

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:24 PM

robyn! dont give up on me ducks! i need your superior brain!

I did not have the broken glass and the false bottom on the drawer still opened.

I will stick around to see if anyone figures it out. I wouldn't count on it being me!

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:26 PM

i tried it without the glass hythere and got nothing, but am having much trouble with this game so your probably right!

Use ID card to open secret compartment

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:28 PM

could be a wild guess, but maybe the code to the computer has to do with the clock??? 527pm aka 1727?? im gonna start over and give it a go!

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:28 PM

Arg! Right about now I wish I could read Japanese!

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:30 PM

bollocks. perhaps my brain is filled with ferrets after all

jill did you get the paper from behind the electrical outlet? it has the code for the computer on it.

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:30 PM

Secret compartment where Chuck??

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:30 PM

bollocks. perhaps my brain is filled with ferrets after all

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:31 PM

disregard.. im sipping my tea and observing for a bit. my bright ideas are crap

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:31 PM

Oh wait...the one in the drawer...I already opened. I don't think you need anything special to open that, just click it in the middle.

(Which took me a while lol)

Well, the only way I could open it was with the ID

After entering the code on the computer, I have no idea what to do. I can't read anything on the phone.

Chuck- You are stuck right were I am.

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:36 PM

Hmmm, don't think I'm gonna figure this one out without being able to read Japanese. Can't figure out how to use the phone properly or how to use the info on the computer.

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:36 PM

thought perhaps is held id card in front of books might get something decoded, but that didnt work either! this is bleeding infuriating! wish i spoke japanese and didnt take german in school

even if someone figured the cell fone..... you couldn't type a comment to tell us

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:38 PM

The most frustrating thing is I actually took Japanese in high school, and I don't remember a darn thing. Even if I did remember I never knew enough to read all of that.

Hi, everyone! Just finished the Balcony Escape.

am i live?

Hi Michele.

I guess I am stuck with a phone, broken glass, ID, paper and binoculars. Maybe it is time to give up I have no clues.

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:40 PM

im going to cheat and see if i can find a walkthrough on another site. this is a headache

Hmm...maybe I'll go do the balcony escape...and throw myself off of it in frustration.

i am at the point where i'm trying to figure out what the yellow building on the computer means... could it have something to do with the view out the window?

hi Ruff!

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:43 PM

blimey i cant even cheat! couldnt find anything

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:44 PM

am wishing i could shove the glass bits into my eyes. gaaaaaah! im giving up in 5 minutes

Looks like one unused space next to the broken glass. I guess that is where the door key will go. The prybar, hammer and keys disappeared when we used them. We still have the broken glass, it did not disappear. Also do not see any place to use ID card. in the words of Charlie Brown, "Aaaarghhh!"

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:46 PM

good show fellow escapers, i say we save what little sanity is left and move on to the balcony escape! whos with me?

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:47 PM

To the balcony!

i wish i could understand the language so i could get hints from the messages. i still think the binoculars and window have to be a clue, why else would we bother to find them and go to the trouble of removing the slot from the window?

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 7:48 PM

come along then lass! robyn, hythere, lets go!

Hey everyone... finally escaped from the balcony. Would still be there if it weren't for Jeremey!! I'll try to catch up...

hey Hithere, that's the Musical I'm directing and gets performed next week "you're a Good Man Charlie Brown with my Middle school students!

Would someone help me please? I'm stuck with a blue key, a yellow key, a piece of paper and some broken glass. I cannot open the top two drawers even with my keys.

Ruff, To open drawers select key then click when finger is touching keyhole. It took me a while also.

ruff i had the smae problem, but i keep cliking on the drawers with my keys and then it finally opening, not sure what the problem is. but try putting your cursor directly over the lock part while highliting key

HyThere and Michele, thanks a lot. I can open the drawers now.

Michele, I hope the Musical (why is the "M" capitalized?) goes well. For a play I would say "Break a leg" to an actor. What is the proper term to use for the director of a Musical?

finally caught up after escaping the balcony and now stuck where everyone else is.. wish i could read japanese lol

Out with bad end!

has anyone used the broken glass?

got out once with bad end. decided to try again but I thinkt he problem is the cell phone. Since I dont read Japanense...

@my typing inconsistency
"merde" would be a good expression to use

that comment was for Hythere:0)

i used the glass for the secret compartment in the drawer to get screwdriver, but others say that they have used other things and same result

tried pushing the yellow arrows on cell phone and got bad end again. I think I'm going to give up...unleess someone else has an idea about the phone, glass I never used and the scene outside the window???

I used nothing on the secret drawer just now (3rd time playing) so there has to be another use for the glass.

i was thinking along those lines but cant figure out what

Out with good end!

do you know what combination u used in the phone ruff?

Give me a second. I've restarted the game to make sure which answers I picked.

Thanks Ruff, I was making myself crazy with it.

You must have unlock the computer and see the yellow building. Take out the phone, press the middle to open the message screen. For the first question, press the down arrow once. For the second question, pick the one with two characters. Then press OK. You'll be out with good end.

Thank you Ruff! out!

       Anonymous  1/28/09, 8:22 PM

Ruff...you're now my hero lol

You are welcome! The good thing about a live game is we could help each other out!

Does anyone speak Japanese? My guess is that the view out the window (night) and the time on the clock are telling us that someone special has to be called -- perhaps the night guards? It would be nice to know what the codes for the phone mean!

Ginger, I do not read Japanese but I can make something up that would sound good. That would be good until someone comes along who can read Japanese, of course. :)

I don't read Japanese but I read Chinese. The two languages are quite similar. We used the phone to call the police. We are telling the police on the phone the location and the colour of the building.

Ruff, thanks for all the help.

You're welcome, Ginger. I have to go now. Good night everyone!

Out with good end!
My code was 4649,
i didn't use cellphone,
just used the code from yellow paper.

perhaps I can do some translation and a walkthrough, though Ruff has already got the good end

first screen:
pick NEWSPAPER on table
read NEWSPAPER and it says Yamada Yoshio was kidnapped
pick BAR under bed

go right to the second screen:
use BAR on the 4th piece of wood from the bottom to reveal window
zoom in clock and get behind the clock to get YELLOW KEY

go right to the 3rd screen:
use YELLOW KEYS on second drawer to get BINOCULARS
click on bottom of the opened drawer a few times to reveal a hidden compartment and get SCREWDRIVER
zoom in bottom right of bookshelf to reveal a socket, use SCREWDRIVER on the screws then click open the socket to get MEMO
read MEMO which says password is 4649
zoom in computer and enter 4649, click ok, screen shows a yellow building and a sentence saying to keep Yamada in this mansion

go right to the 4th screen:
open left white door and get HAMMER
zoom in right side of bottom of plant, take BOTTLE
select BOTTLE and use HAMMER to get BLUE KEY

go back left to 3rd screen:
use BLUE KEY on top drawer to get CELL PHONE

go left to 2nd screen:
use BINOCULARS on the gap in windows, can see outside, which is actually Fukuoka Dome
use cell phone, click on phone (not the button with Japanese characters) and it says that battery level is low, just one chance to inform the police about this place
now click the button with Japanese characters (which means "send") to reveal a screen:

Police: yes, this is the police
Yamada: I was kept in a mansion of "what color" in front of "what place"
Police: understood, we will come immediately
(first selection is what place, click down once to choose Fukuoda Dome, second selection is what color, click up twice to choose yellow, then click ok)
If you choose the correct place and color, police come and you get good end, otherwise the bad guys come and you get bad end
