• Time Escape Episode 1: The Old House

    Time Escape Episode 1: The Old House is a new point and click type room escape game by Barking Games. Author comment: This is the most demanding game I have made yet. With about 500 images and 100 sounds it should give even the most experienced room escape expert a run for his/her money. As with all room escape games you have to escape a room, well actually you have to escape a whole house. Click on items to make things happen. Some items can be picked up and used later. This is a beta version of the game. Good luck and have fun!

    Rachel, it's not that I cannot move. I can move around and go into different room but my screen is still blocked by the chart (the chart for putting crosses). The cancel button does not work. If I use tab, I know I am going to different room but the display is still the chart.

    in the room with the Warning sign, put the table leg in the hole next to the closed metal door, and pull down. This will open the metal door on the wall.

    you can fill the wine glass with water in the bathtub. You can also combine the wine bottle (from cellar) and the potion (from kitchen shelf). Not sure what to do with either of these. Additionally, there is a door in the ceiling above the entrance to the bathroom and a ladder to the left but I cannot get the ladder under the door.

    in the X's game you have to put the right number of X's as given on the sides.one is for rows and other for columns
    like one is written 5 so you put 5 X's on after the other in the row
    if its 2 2 you will put 2 X's then leave one space blank and put another 2 X's

    To calm the mouse down you need the potion from the kitchen (on the spice rack) and the wine bottle from the basement (hit tab until it shows which bottle to click). Combine the potion and the wine bottle and then give it to the mouse.

    Pascale, I don't exactly remember where the red round key was but I believe it was in the safe in the original room. The code to the safe is in the toilet and you can get it by turning the water on, attaching the chain to the toilet, and flushing.

    You need to insert the fuses in the fusebox in the basement/cellar and then flick the switch in the livingroom to enter the top secret room.

    There is another key you should have picked up along with the key you greased to enter the cupboard (use tab if you can't see it)

    nanako the cod to safe is in the toilet you have to turn water back on, add chain to the box, then pull it to flush back up the combo... id just give it out but it would be no fun >=D

    Don't worry about the stone wall in the power room - it doesn't do anything. The code to the safe is in the toilet once you turn the water on. The wine bottle is in the basement, bottom left in the wine rack from memory (it's a long game!) The red fuse is behind a grill in the basement which you remove with the screwdriver.

    If you look downstairs in the room opened by the red and blue round keys there is a diagram - the white gem is where the purple one goes.

    The black gem is in the red box, the keys are in a gold pile in the basement.

    The purple gem is from the top secret room portal.

    There is a switch at the left hand side of the fusebox to turn it on.

    TLC, the purple gem is the only one I was able to find without help (: You get it when you enter the right coordinates in the machine upstairs and activate the "portal".
    No one to tell me where is the key to open the box ?

    Pascale in the 'secret' room in the basement there is a gold pile under a table with two keys in it. One is the key which opens the cupboard containing the box (in the room at the bottom of the stairs) the smaller key is greased with soap and opens the box.

    After you have put your fuses in you go back upstairs to the room with the switch and flick it - a ladder will drop to give you access.

    There is no white gem - the purple gem goes in this slot.

    The sword is used to cut the box in the hall free and then the box can be collected from the basement.

    If you have restored power down in the basement, you need to look for a metal fork by one of the fireplaces. Use this to bridge gap in wire that powers door.

    Put the pitchfork into the broken wire in the rooms before the kitchen to put power into the keycard/'warning' door.

    well i somehow lost my wine glass before i could use it on the mouse. i think it has somtng to do with the fact that i got 2 keycard2...glitch maybe
    i cant play this game over again now after how far i came to the end and will try it later sometime
