Time Escape Episode 1: The Old House
Time Escape Episode 1: The Old House is a new point and click type room escape game by Barking Games. Author comment: This is the most demanding game I have made yet. With about 500 images and 100 sounds it should give even the most experienced room escape expert a run for his/her money. As with all room escape games you have to escape a room, well actually you have to escape a whole house. Click on items to make things happen. Some items can be picked up and used later. This is a beta version of the game. Good luck and have fun!

Don't worry about finding all of the 14 secrets. They don't do anything for you. If you find all 14, the game author gives you a secret. You get a stupid page about how he created the whole game. It's long and terribly boring with some screen shots of his initial designs. That's it. Anyway, here is the link that he gives you to go to if you found all 14 secrets: http://www.barking-gms.co.uk/timeEscapeBonus.php

Hi all! I have just finished the game the second time with all notes and all 14 secrets found. The ending is still the same. The only difference is there is an extra "secret" button on the main menu. The secret button leads to this bonus page (http://www.barking-gms.co.uk/timeEscapeBonus.php) that shows us how the game was developed.
By the way, if you have 13/14 secrets, try the oven in the kitchen. This last one is difficult to find.

Tosca...thanx for your walkthrough...never could have made it without your help! You're my hero of this whole year (2009)...do you have a fanclub? lol Just kidding...wooohooo! Sooo happy that I'm out...took me hours, even with your walkthrough...it was complicated enough to relocate all the different rooms.
Two tiny steps I'd like to add to your walkthrough: (1) the code to the safe in the yellow divan room (which yields the blue key) is in the toilet (after you flush it), and not in the closet, as you write...I was looking for this 'closet' everywhere, and had to check previous comments, which took ages, lol; and (2) to get to the spot where you put the gems in, climb the ladder in the yellow divan room, and find it on that floor somewhere.
But thanx again...boy...am I relieved I can finally go to sleep! Only three hours left before I have to get up again, but I had great fun...and feel satisfied now, even if I've discovered only 13 out of the 14 secrets.
And Game Maker,- chapeau too! The game's absolutely worth your efforts. Next week Part 2? Lol...
See y'all around guys!

Hi guys... i really wanted to play this but it hurts my eyes. I really admire you guys for doing it... some of you were actually staring at those tiny items for almost an hour and a half!!!! It sucks there's no way to make it bigger. If theyever make a normal size version of it just let me know
