  1. 1st time in live game

  1. im here too :o)

  1. I'm stuck after getting the picture of the two guys from the drawer...

  1. Got a calendar (used), blue key, book, paper, weird stick.

  1. yay! Live game! Let's roll.

  1. key next to vault.. use to open closet at television...

place calender over closet with dog, get book, get key, use key on top drawer, get photograph...

    stuck now!!!

    *language barrier???

  1. Claw/pincer thing on the right of the calender-bookshelf.

  1. wow today is my birthday!!!

  1. really stuck now :(

  1. I have the blue key, can't make it work tho. =/ Yellow key to cabinet under TV. Found a video tape but can't reach it.

  1. Pamela, Happy Birthday!

  1. Where'd you find tape?

  1. Blue key goes in top drawer, where did you find the videotape?

  1. thank you trustngod!!

  1. Where's the video tape? If you can't reach it, that might be what the grabber is for.

  1. Videotape is on right side of cabinet under the TV. Still can't get the blue key to work on the top drawer.

  1. No, my grabber seems to be broken. LOL

  1. I don't see a video tape there. I see a VCR...

If you look closely at the drawer, there's a black spot on the left side of the handle. Try selecting the key and clicking there.

  1. I think the video tape is actually a DVD player...

  1. hm, cant find anything?? wheres the blue key plz?

  1. Yeah. I think you may have gotten the player confused with a tape. =/

  1. Sue, the blue key is inside the book you get when you put the calendar on the shelf with the dog/statue thing.

  1. On right side of cabinet under the tv?

    That's a videorecorder! still need a videotape!

  1. I think a lot of the clues are written in Japanese. This will be a tough one!

  1. DanmanX - Thanks. That worked.

  1. Easy mistake. =)

  1. Can anyone here read Japanese?

  1. That's okay, trust. Just means we're all stuck now.

It seems like the back of the picture is supposed to have numbers or something at the end, but it's all just zeros/O's. I know a lot of times we attribute that to not having the right language pack, but I've never understood that. When you make a flash file, you save everything as an image, so as long as the computer you make the thing on has that language, it'll get saved into the picture, and then other computers will load it as an image file, not text.

  1. Anyone wanna take a whack at cracking the safe by entering random numbers? =P

  1. Not me, Jess. I don't remember the calculations for it, but I know there's way too many combinations for me to try.

  1. Yes, I tried all 0's (zeros) and O's (ohs) just for good measure. No good. Also in the book step #2 says play. I can't figure out any clues to either the safe or the computer. Can't find out what to do with the grabber and I can't get the doors of the closet open.

  1. 1048576 combinations to be exact ;)

  1. I think the book is instructions on how to work the TV/video player. It may also be instructions on where to find things, but we can't read it.

  1. Thank you Holland. Now I KNOW not to try. ;)

  1. i think we need a miracle lol

  1. *Is attempting to find any obscure number possibiities around the room*

  1. I'm not trying all the combinations on the safe. Last we did that, turned out you couldn't open the safe until you had done other stuff in the game. Way too fustrating !

  1. God forbid that we could just break the glass door down and get the heck out. Nooo. That would just be too simple.

  1. i give up i'll come back later to finish it got to do some work now

  1. Maybe the 23 missing in the calender is one hint?
    Pamela, congratulations!!

  1. Yeah, I know how you feel Jess. Where's Shuchun when you need her? Just give us something to move forward on, we probably won't even need the whole game's walkthrough, just get us past this point. :P

  1. anyone still playing i hope lol

  1. Hopefully not trapped in that safe. =/

  1. I'm guessing that January 23 is Yamada's birthday, but can't come up with the password for computer.

  1. Yeah, cause good luck getting that thing open...

  1. yay my first live game in three months...ok im just starting so i will try and catch up ^_^

  1. Trust me, Kendra. It shouldn't take very long to catch up. Hehe.

I wonder what the point of the mirror is. I mean... Apparently we're the guy on the left in the picture, but what does that help with?

  1. The guy in the mirror is the same guy on the left side of the picture. I'm so stuck! rofl

  1. Tried on safe aver combination for 23xx so 2300 until 2399

    Will try xx23 now

  1. If we could read Japanese, I'm sure the red text on the front of the picture, and whatever the back says, would give us some clue to the identity of that other guy, or the relationship between them, which would give us either the code to the safe or the password to the computer.

By the way, I noticed 21 at the top of the calendar and figured it might mean a 21st birthday, so I tried adding 1988 and 88 to the numbers 1, 23 (and 01, 23) as the password or safe code. It didn't work, but maybe someone else will have an idea.

  1. All the combinations for
    xx23
    and
    23xx
or not working on the safe :(

  1. I tried counting the number of stones in the picture, but that seems rather useless. =P

  1. Well, it's 4 A.M. here. I'm leaving to get some sleep. Good luck! I'll check back.

  1. has anyone found what to use the grabber thingy on yet lol

  1. I think:
    book is hint for DVD
    Photo is hint for PC
and hope calender is hint for SAFE or the hint for safe is on TV of PC??

  1. Ah darn it, everyone's leaving us. How can we be expected to finish this without help?! What are we, a bunch of competent people? :P

  1. i managed to get the tv on, it says play but won't start playing

  1. the L in play is a different color

  1. password of computer is: hakodate
there is a clue on the photo in Japanese

  1. did anybody pass the point of computer/TV?

  1. The code does not work for me T_T

  1. I put in hakodate (what does that mean?) and got a chime that indicated I did something right, but nothing happened. It still shows the password screen on the computer...

  1. did anybody see the red line on the calander? does it meen anything???? :~.

  1. the password for comp works - opens the closet doors.

  1. hakodate doesn't work for me

  1. when you put that code in you can open the closet

  1. Never mind, somehow putting the password in the computer OPENS THE CLOSET?! That's ridiculous! What is this place, something out of the Jetsons?

Anyway, I've seen that line, Taltal, and there are actually several (and a blue one too). I don't believe they mean anything, but I could be wrong.

  1. thks haku (from spirited away ???) code worked but the clue i'm given for the safe doesn't work. 2 of the figures on the window don't correspond to numbers on my keyboard...

  1. thanks for the (hakodate) code

  1. do not use upper case for the computer password, it should work, maybe u need to get the photo first

then u can open the closet

then on the paper: pass2, it says: what is the color of your glasses?

so the second code to the computer is: black

  1. (#%)....??? ugh lol

  1. Found on wikipedia the japanese couting for years:

    # 1989 平成 Heisei era

Looks to me, these are the same symbols on the calender for the 21.
Don't know if it is a hint?

  1. Oh great, the password from the closet is ALSO completely in Japanese, not an Arabic Numeral to be found; haku, if you could, apply your expertise to the situation please?

  1. thank god you're with us haku :)))))

  1. (#%) translates to 9350 on comp but that doesn't work as password...maybe the pword2 paper gives a hint as to how to arrange the numbers.

  1. when you put in the 2nd pass..you can open the last drawer on the desk.....cause you know its normal to have passwords on your computer to open things in your room -_- lol

  1. the password of closet is: black

  1. That's what I said Kendra, James Bond doesn't have access to that kind of technology. :P

  1. ok..red glasses not sure what that accomplished

  1. lol danman lol >O

  1. Out but ended up with bad end.
Password for safe is the numbers on keyboard, not (#%). Guess I got bad end because I did not enter black (for glasses), dont read japaneese.

  1. in the window you can see with binoculairs:
    (#%)

  1. ehat keboard???

  1. 9350 doesn't work for me though...what's up? I put the numbers in, hit the OK button...and nothing.

  1. ...what.... keboard?

  1. (#%) is 8359 in my keyboard...

  1. oh! god!!! what's wrong with me?!?!?!?!???!?!?
    WHAT KEYBOARD???

  1. YOUR keyboard Taltal. What numbers (plus shift) would you have to hit to make (#%) show up?

  1. I have a standard Qwerty board, and it's 9350. I checked multiple times.
    8359 works though.

  1. i have a mac and my keyboard is 9350 as well. i will try the other number..

  1. :O ah! i can be soooooooooo stupid sometimes lol..... oh, well.... MY KEYBOARD (atlist i spelled it right this time :~>)

  1. 8359 worked for me

  1. pitty that the creator didn't take in mind that there is no universal keyboard ! ) and % don't correspond to any number on a french keyboard... nevermind, out anyway

  1. Man, what an ordeal that was. I might go back to my old method of just waiting for you guys to solve it and then using your hints to work through. Not as much struggle and waiting. ;P

  1. to get good end make sure before you leave, you select red glasses - go to mirror and see yourself with the red glasses on

  1. ok i can't get the dvd to go into the dvd player to play it...i think i am missing something -_-' lol

  1. Kendra, make sure to select it, then click...what was it, either the darker part, which looks like the door for the disk drive, or the yellow button. Can't remember.

  1. haha! i got a good end :)) yey \o/

  1. out with good end, thanks everyone for all the help...i never would've got the last code because my keyboard is USA style i guess

  1. thanks to all of you.... i couldnt have done it alone :)
I want to thank my parents, my dog, and ofcourse god.... ;_)

  1. Finally out with good end. ^_^ thanks everyone this has been fun..i love live games lol

  1. thx guys! out with good end, but didn't figure out the answers on japanese questions myself, same for code, for me it also is 9530, so would never find it has to be 8359!?

It's frustrating that there is no possibility to get out on your own in this game if you don't read japanese and have another keyboard then the maker... :(

  1. Happy about helping - my first post here solved the safe-problem :) Cool

Too bad the keyboards aren't international. I have a norwegian keyboard (extended with letters æ ø å).

  1. my code was 9350 never would have thought about it being an 8 lol/..but i never would have gone anywhere without hakus help ^_^ thanks haku

  1. first live game for me. I have to catch up though. Will start now.

  1. can someone help me find the red glasses... please

  1. am I all by myself?

  1. And I'm out. Red glasses are in the bottom drawer. You can open the drawer by using the secon password on the computer. Check other comments for that one

  1. I don't like this kind of game where you can't find anything by yourself if you don't speak a specific language (most often, japanese) and if you don't have a specific keyboard.

  1. @ Pascale ... I agree with you, but i like games ... to bad to play all the time with walkthrough because cant understand the language of the game !!!
Thats 1 of the reason why people will leave the site and go to another site.

Games posters, find a solution plz tyvm.

  1. to make it easy for others who come

code to open closet : hakodate
code to open bottom drawer : black
    (both in pc)

    blue key for top drawer
yellow key for cabinet under tv

    code for safe : 8359

thnx to haku for translation and answers:)

  1. I have clicked everywhere - have all but yellow key to play DVD! Where is it??

  1. yello key on side of cabinet with the codes..click on the side

  1. I have an English mac and, unless I'm completely blind, there's no hash key on here!

    Bah, humbug!

  1. yellow key
there is a blue safe right to the closet
click the right side of the blue safe and you will see the yellow key
