something weird..probably doesn't mean anything but the video of the chimney turning into a stair case. When you press play and it shows it coming down, isn't that strange how the small box to the left shows the lid closing?? When the stairs go up, the lid shows it's opening!?
When I walk over to the box to see if it really does do that, it appears like it doesn't. You walk away from it after opening it and the lid is automagically closed..huh!! What does that stationary R in there mean that looks like it could be a...k? hmmm so many mysteries!!
the fish stays on the windowsill. you put a tank around the fish. you find the tank in the cabinet under the tv

I noticed that with the box too. I tried everything in my inventory to prop it open, but nothing.

ah strokend....if i remember correctly, you can take out the screw at the top of the cabinet with your screwdriver/pen thing.
and i think you get one of the blue handles for the cupboard on the right bottom edge of the open window.
anyone please correct me if im wrong
so the battery has a yellow "d" and the box in the bookshelf has a blue "r" - has anyone found a green or red letter?

I'm so glad the guy from Nordinho explained how he got the code for the wall code.
He said to look at the bookself in normal view, to look at the purple books.
From left to right, up to down, it starts off with on solid purple book (this counts as one), then you see the purple book with two white rectangles on it. Trace out the purple color on it and you would have traced the number three. Now go to the cluster of purple books (with the one you got the diamond from) and collectively they take on the number zero. And then it ends with a single solid purple book, making that a one.

serran -- did you get out yet? That last puzzle, in my opinion, kinda sucked cause it is an interpretation thing and hopefully, what the author believe looked like a "2" or "3" on a digital clock, looks the same to you.

The code to the symbol box is on the videotape.
SUPPOSEDLY, if you click the symbols on the videotape, you can see them better.
However, that doesn't work for me. Do I need something else before I look at the videotape? Because I'm clicking like mad, and it is doing diddley squat.

Finally! I restarted and got a new time and it worked for me this time. I had to finish, and I sure did.
Help...I am way behind. I have been up the staircase and returned down.
What next? I can raise and lower the staircase, I have the battery and time on a digital clock. Someone mentioned clipping the wire on the grate - what wire? Also, how did you get outside? (I presume you're outside if you have dirt)

To cut the wire on the grate click on the stairs and then the grate it's near the bottom. Once that is clipped rewind the video to put the stair back up and the bag of dirt will be in the fireplace.

I think what stumped me the most were the number negatives at the end, the ID/Pass, the first combination for the wind-up key, and the 4 digit code for the long hook.
Other than that, it was pretty cool!

Anyways, when watching the video showing the stairs coming down, part of them looks strange... Click on that part (off the TV screen). If you have trouble with that, view the stairs from the side, you'll see q's and p's. Click there while viewing from the front. q means click the left side, p means right side.

Alright, finally loaded the game, but I'm totally stuck. I have found 2 shapes (rhombus and hexagon, used), photo frame, wires, pen, paper with 4 coloured circles inside, and NO KEYS, not a freaking one, although there are dozens of keyholes in the room!
I feel stupid.
And is there any way to solve the wall picture puzzle besides tedious trial-and-error?

Hi again. HELP plz with the CD Puzzle. I know that the colours must match, but I am too stupid to use ALL tile. How did you connect them???? I am desperate....
I have reloaded the game several times and am having the same problem over and over--whenever I use the hook to get the key out of the pot, the hook and string disappear and so I can't use them to get the key outside the door...does anyone know why?? Also, Bernard, you watch the video to figure out the wall puzzle.

Then plugged the TV .Put the tape into the video .You can see some dots for picture.
@ cushman you dont need the hook for outside. You get another tool from fire place left you have to enter a 4 digit code, then you get a iron pole or whatever its called
