オトク=0109

Yay, second! Got phone, remote, crowbar and CD. And stuck. Thanks for the 4 digit phone code.

I don't have a clue about the password for the computer. Thanks for the numbers. I would never have figured it out otherwise!

Stuck at the Laptop ID.

hi shuchun, y is the escapegames24 homepage look diferent

I think I've tried every variation of the stuff on the CD using caps and lower case letters.

ok got to the point where i'm about to give up. i got the tv on, but i don't know the box code(colors) or the computer code. I have 2 yellow and 2 blue dots on the door.

The colors reflect the books. Largest to smallest.

       Anonymous  8/29/09, 10:15 PM

what's the color code for the box on the floor

Getting nowhere. I have 1 yellow and 3 blue dots on the door.

       Anonymous  8/29/09, 10:18 PM

where is the remote

Can anyone give me a hint about the laptop password?

       Anonymous  8/29/09, 10:22 PM

the color code from the books doesn't work

Where did you get the cd?

the remote is in the safe on the floor. Open it by choosing the colors of the books, from the tallest book to the shortest

Did you use the colors from the largest book to the smallest for the order?

Pink red blue green yellow

Large to small on color code for books.

Has anyone figured out the code for the computer yet? I'm about to just close the game and give up.

no luck for me KarenB. I also haven't found the CD

I think it was in one of the drawers. Did you find the coin?

The coin is behind the TV. I think you'll know what to do with it.

pw for pc:

check the note[picture] of a girl :OLk------

The remote is in the cabinet - middle compartment, which is unlocked by removing the pin on the right side of the cabinet with the crowbar. Mike, CD is in the bottom middle drawer.

ahhhh! Thanks shuchun! I tried ol, and kirarin, but not together!

Thanks Olivia!

ty KarenB got the safe open, now how do i turn the cell phone on

Well, nothing I'm trying is working. I put in olkirarin, but that doesn't work. Did I misunderstand your clue?

Sorry to be overly critical & this is my favorite gamesite (I know you hear a "but" coming up). I also appreciate any effort made to improve the gamesite & the effort Shuchun, et al, make on a daily basis ... BUT this white background is rather harsh. Sorry, honestly.

I thought the note was in the bottom middle drawer. Is that note the CD?

@ michelle, Just click on it and it opens, but you can't use it until you turn on the TV.

arrgh. I'm stumped. shuchun's hint not getting through my brain. Still no laptop password

Yay yay yay I'm out! Thanks for the coin hint, Karen. And thanks for the pc pw hint, Shuchun. Very sneaky. ID:OLkirarin.

I hate this new site so much. It doesn't even show u how many comments a game has or not which was what let me know if the game was even any good! THIS SITE IS UGLY GO BACK TO THE OLD ONE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

Schuchun, if you happen to come back around, and you have any say about the format of this site, I have a request. I noticed someone else mentioned this earlier on another game, and I'd like to add my voice.

Please return the numbering of posts. It's easy to refer to someone else's previous posts when they are numbered. Like how I could reference your post on this page, because it was the first post.

Also, on the main page, it's nice to see how many comments have been made for each game. The number of comments is a really good way for me to gauge how long a game will probably take to complete (say, 25 as opposed to 250 comments) and helps me decide which ones I can play depending on how much time I have now, or which ones to make a point to come back later for.

It's also nice to see the number of posts on the main page, because it alerts us to new comments on games we've already discussed and may want to revisit to read new comments.

Tonight, I finally had a few hours to devote to a game from last month (Dream House Escape), that I had been wanting to play for quite a while, but it's time-consuming and I had to wait for a free day. Sadly, there was no link to access the additional comments after the first page (there were over 1300 comments originally) like there used to be, so without the help, I was unable to finish the game. Please bring them back if you can. Thanks.

@ rosebud, congrats on catching your first live game! Welcome aboard!

@RC

Thx for ur comment about the new layout.

I do not understand why the layout had to be changed?

I wish they would put it back the way it was, this white is not background is not good for the eyes.

I like the white much better than the black. Maybe something in between? And thank you for adding the comment numbers on the right. And for the menu on the left showing types of puzzles as I do get tired of find the pieces puzzles mixed in with the true escape games. Thank you for a good site altogether.

Thanks Shuchun for all the postings and language help:D What would we do without you?

I would like to reiterate RC's comments (post57) that have not been addressed. (thanks for numbering comments) I also liked the darker background, much easier on the eyes.
One last thing, after playing a game from the archives,I can't get back to current games and usually can't get to any site. Have to reboot computer. I wonder if others have this problem.
Thanks for a great game site. My favorite.

I mentioned this yesterday that I was finding the white background as not being suitable as it was affecting my eyes, glad I am not the only one.

yw,Roxi. I wish i could help all the time.

I want the layout of this back to where it was black background of layout. I dont like this white and light blue layout it make my eyes feel like confused!!!!

when i read the ID for the computer it was a "doh" moment...lol I had tried IDOL and kirarin, but not the combination of the two...i got to the very end without help...should have picked up on the ID portion on computer...great game Shuchun! Thanks for the help with the number :)
