Have worn out my mouse trying to find something. Think I am going to reload if nothing happens. I play these games so much I keep a mirror by the computer just for backwards codes like this.

It is on a piece of paper in a drawer.
Exel are you saying that the door code is on the piece of one of the 2 pieces of paper. You must have magic eyes to see a code.
The only problem is that the message is written backwards!
I know one code is 9669699 but I have tried every variation and get nothing. 9669..6996.6969... zilch
It is the whole code! The hint about the four digits is for the code in the next room! I made the same mistake too at first.

in the draws with keys I think , stand back and try keys on all the locks ...I just made it out !!! yes get cogs going then you can enter the door code

What do I do after getting cog and pipe? Can't find any more clicks.

Aha, finished. "Most worn out are the answer" means the most worn out buttons on the dial. And by that order so it's 3894.

tiger, look at the icons as arrows, then compare the directions these arrows point to.
I have a cog & can't find my way out of the first room.. SaffronButterfly's mention of a button isn't doing me any good - can't see a red button!

Okay, so I found two gears, one in the pillow in the first room, one after finishing the pipe puzzle. I don't have anywhere else to go, and I can't find the third gear. I've explored everywhere that I can find in both rooms. What am I missing?
And ... out.
I stil don't understand the 'left up and right down' part ... I didn't use it anywhere.
Dan ... look in the second room for another puzzle to make ...
Never mind. I swear I tried clicking on the white thing above the pipe puzzle before, but it didn't work. >:(

Really good game series so far. Made me jump a few times, too.

It is not hard to complete this game since all the hints are obvious.
most ppl stuck at the second part of the sewer..
first finish the puzzel to get the 2nd gear, then rmb, the hints Left UP, Right DOWN... it is the second puzzle, which just on top of the where u find 2nd gear... it appears likes a white board on top of the cabinet...
once all the gears found, the hint is Most Worn Out... then look at the keypad... which number is the most blurred to the less blurry... GET It NOW??? 3894

1) find 2 keys to open cabinet
2) get first gear from cabinet
3) use code to find knife then cut pillow to find meat
4) use meat to lure creature breaks the bar
5) use bar on the machine to activate the cabinet
6) find remote in the cabinet to open the door
7) solve both puzzles on the right side ... (hints is on the left wall)
8) use the gears to activate the final machine
9) PW is 3894 (hint from most worn out)
i cant get that last gear! :(

whats the solution to the pipes?
out without help, but finding that white puzzle above the pipes took me a while... rest was easy.
LOL... it is so simple! left up right down or so is the way you should line the arrows... there are 4 stones with "A" on them, respect the order.
As about the pipes... once you complete them, the water will flow spitting out a little mechanism wheel, with that found in the pillow after cut it with the knife. it is a nice game though, makes you think :)
