This is long awaited online free demo version of Machinarium game from Amanita Design, who is also creator of very famous point and click adventure Samarost series. We wrote a little Machinarium preview before. In this game, you try to help our little robot friend on his adventures by using our point and click and puzzle solving skills. me too, and stuck in that room. When you make yourself little, you can reach the thing by the door. But no clue on what to set the thing.
where did you find an arm?
There is a little hook thing under the handle. Attached it to the top of the hand rail. Then stuck

Ruff, did you get the yellow item at the roof?
Stuck on L3 with the ore carts...
Got the hook done, but can't find a way to get the yellow thing hanging up high
on the right there is a sort of watertank. Make yourself very short, so you can reach the box. Set it on 2a i think it was. Go back up and make yourself long. You can reach it now.

My Robot ate the doll and won't give it up.
I did find the comic directions in the book.
So what am I doing wrong?
Have restarted 5 times, and he still won't give it up.

i have the gold stopper, put it on track and derailed the cart, but still cant get in the door... what am i missing?
click on the hook of the hand rail behind you
but you must sit on the cart doing that.

@Yvon, re you post earlier. I got the yellow thing, but haven't found any use yet.
take the weels of the cart. Put them on the rails.
Ruff, put the yellow thing on the rails. Go up and let a cart go down.

yes, you were so close to the end...
but noticed that they release a 2games Rupert game at the end of november. That will take more time to solve.
It's a very nice game. I am thinking of downloading the full version.

i am still so stuck. i dont see any cart wheels... and when i let the cart go down the track it just hits the stopper and flys completely off the screen.. what am i doing wrong?
@muhlisuh13, you have to reposition the yellow wedge.
do you have the full screen visible? Because the crased cart must be at the site of the rails.
think the solution of Ruff is beter ;-)
never mind, got it. i didnt realize you could put the gold stopper on either rail. was only putting it on the inside track.

I'm stuck trying to get across the drawbridge, I think it's on level 2. I have the tin hat and light bulb but now I'm stuck. Do I need to get the lighbulb lit somehow? Not sure how to do that(may have something to do with birds on wire?)What am I missing??
Lovely little game
there is an ingame walkthrough for anyone who wants it.
You just gotta click on the Book (top of right corner of screen next to the lightbulb)... and then do the puzzle to get it to open.
Nice touch .. the walkthrough book. Only a little bit annoying when I forgot one of the moves and had to do the puzzle again to get back into it.
Nice making the walkthrough like a comic too.
Wish is was longer, just when you get the hang of it, it's finished.
Oh nevermind I got it I had to dip the hat in the bucket again and combine it with the lightbulb!

Plug the lightbulb into the robot's head.
Then get the stripey traffic cone.. he will eat one... keep picking up the others, he tosses them over the edge.. and underneath the last one is the paint pot.
Tip the paint into the bucket of water... then dip the stripey traffic cone into it to change it to the plain blue colour... and then put it on the robot's head. Then he is in perfect disguise and can pull the cord to attract the guard attention and he will tell him to let down the drawbridge.

How to get the bulb?
Birds won´t help me!
Henrique you have to climb the lamp post and pull out the metal foot spikes and put them one above the other to climb up them. Go up and down post (using the white arrows). Go down to pull spike out, then go up to place next one and so on.

This is what i´ve been waaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiting for for sóóóóó long, finally Machinarium is on-line! ( Well, it´s actually my son as well who is VERY happy today, i´m sure he´ll make me buy the full game today, lol

At the bit where you have to lure the dog out from behind the can is where im stuck.
i've read the walkthough and i know what to do it's just, when i go up into the tower and the controls with the four buttons come up, i put the arrow in the right direction and then i try to press the green botton to make it move and nothing happens... it's really fustrating...
The button dosnt even press in and all the others work stil...
any ideas?
