Escape from the Video Shop is another new point and click type room escape game by Kim.You were on duty on a video shop when you got hit by a bad guy. You woke up and found out the door was locked. Also you seem to have amnesia. Escape the video shop to tell your story! Good luck and have fun!

brittany...you have to zoom in on tv and use remote on the red dot..it gives you color code for dvd's right below on right bottom shelf. Blue, orange, red and green. Gives you red thing to open dvd case. inside is screwdriver piece. left bottom shelf of suspense shelves is the other part of the SD.
Whats the code for the door to get magnet I've tried everything.

1. Trash can = note (note isn't that important). Click on the schedule and note the names of the employees.
2. Click computer then top of gray thing at bottom to reveal vanilla folder.
3. Click bottom left corner of SUSPENSE to find bottom of screw driver.
4. Click mirror behind to reveal puzzle piece number 8 and key.
5. Click most bottom of FANTASY and then click yellow folder to get remote. Then click calender to note puzzle piece number 0.
6. Click bottom left corner of NEW RELEASE to get pencil.
7. Click under L on NEW RELEASES to find puzzle number 7.
8. Click top right of COMEDY to get batteries.
9. Click bottom right of COMEDY to find puzzle number 4.
10. Click second to top row, fourth dvd of ACTION to get wrench.
11. Go to the computer. Click on the vanilla folder to get string and then use the pencil to reveal password (sasuke). Mine was (shane, sasuke). Note code.
12. Go back to room view and click the door next to the schedule then click the near the bottom left corner on counter.
13. Use key, put in code, get key. Open other drawer to find puzzle piece number 9... or 6...
14. Use key on storage door. Get the pink DVD and stool.
15. Put batteries in remote, put stool in front of the TV, zoom into TV, remove the tape on the bottom right side of TV, and hold remote and click the red button with the mouse. Note, BORG.
16. Click bottom left DVDs of ACTION and change to colors to BORG (blue, orange, red, and green.)
17. Use red opener on pink DVD to get the screw driver piece.
18. Go to the front door and click on the panel. Remove bolts with wrench and manipulate numbers. Mine was 8940. Click blue square to get magnet.
19. Click top right DVD in SUSPENSE and move DVD. Open with screw driver, tie string to magnet and fish out key.
20. Use key on front door and you're out :D
Sorry, first time giving a walkthrough and I kind of rushed through it. Hope it's helpful.

WALKTHROUGH PART 1
DESK VIEW
- Zoom in on the wastepaper basket and take the paper and zoom out. Open it (about item) and see it's a note written on the 13th of january and that man/woman want to change shift for the 14th. Close screen.
- Zoom in on the computer screen. Zoom in on the black box below it (left) and behind the box (left is a folder, take it and zoom out. Open the folder (about item) and take the white thread that's in it (left). Close the screen.
- Zoom in on the door behind the desk. Zoom in on the upper left part of the desk. Open the right door and see a jigsaw piece with a 6 on it (or upside down a 9). Write down the shape of this and all the next pieces you'll find. Zoom out (2x).
GO RIGHT, SUSPENSE VIEW
- Zoom in on the floor at the bottom left of the "suspension" shelves. Take the handle of the screwdriver. Zoom in on the white part of the back wall and see the jigsaw piece with 8 on it (upside down 8 as well) and take the key from the floor. Zoom out (2x).
- Zoom in on the bottom left yellow dvd-box from the "fantas..." section. Remove the second box from the left on the bottom shelf and take the remote. Zoom out.
GO RIGHT, NEW RELEASES VIEW
- Zoom in on the wall (bottom) left to the "new releases"shelves. Take the pencil and zoom out.
- Zoom in on the red dvd-box on the top shelf and see the jigsaw piece with 7 on it (upside down it's nothing). Zoom out.
- Here you can see that today is the 14th. Zoom in on the calender and see the jigsaw piece with 0 on it (turn it everyway and it still remains a 0). Also notice that the 14th is a Thursday. Zoom out.
GO RIGHT, COMEDY&ACTION VIEW
- Zoom in on the most right yellow dvd-box on the top shelf of "comedy". Take the batteries (bottom right) and zoom out.
- Zoom in on the most right blue dvd-box on the bottom shelf of "comedy" and see the jigsaw piece with 4 on it (upside down it's nothing). Zoom out.
- Zoom in on the red dvd-box of the "action" section. Take the wrench (left behind it) and zoom out.
GO RIGHT, DESK VIEW
- Zoom in on the chart behind the desk and see robert had to close on Thursday but according to your note he wanted to change shift and probably did itwith shane. Zoom out.
- Zoom in on the computer sreen. Now open your folder (about item) and use your pencil on the white page. A picture with a nickname "sasuke" pops up and that's probably the password. So we put in "shane" and "sasuke". Click enter and a number pops up (different every game, write it down). Zoom out.
- Zoom in on the door behind the desk. Zoom in on the upper left part of the desk. Open the left door with your key and use the code the computer gave you. Click ok and click the little yellow door. Take the gold key and zoom out (1x). Use your key on the door and go in. Take the red stool. Open the blue box and take the red dvd. Zoom out (2x).

WALKTHROUGH PART 2
DESK VIEW
GO LEFT, COMEDY&ACTION VIEW
- Put your stool in the corner below the tv and now you can zoom in on the tv.
- Take off the cover (bottom right) and open your remote (about item). Turn it around, open the cover and put the batteries in it. Close screen.
- Use your remote on the red button you just uncovered and see STAR TREK and BORG. This is a clue for a code (solution on the bottom of this walkthrough). Zoom out.
- Zoom in on the 4 purple dvd-boxes and see you can change their color. Do this according to the clue from the tv and take the dvd-box opener and zoom out.
- In about item open the red dvd with the opener and take the second part of the screwdriver (bottom left). Close screen.
- In about item open the handle of the screwdriver and attach the second part. Close screen.
GO LEFT, NEW RELEASES VIEW
- Zoom in on the door. Zoom in on the panel and remove it with your wrench.
- Now you can put in the code from the jigsaw pieces (solution on the bottom of this walkthrough). Look which piece would fit in which place. Remember that you can turn pieces to let them fit. After that click the red button and take the magnet. Zoom out (2x).
GO LEFT, SUSPENSE VIEW
- Zoom in on red dvd box on the right, on the top shelf. Click it to remove it and use your screwdriver to open the panel.
- Look at magnet (about item) and put the thread on it to combine. Use magnet/thread in the hole and take the key. Zoom out.
GO RIGHT, NEW RELEASES VIEW
- Zoom in on the door and use your key in the keyhole and you're out.

sneaksnake wonderful explanation on your wt. note for the username and password though. i wanted the logic behind this is:
you had amnesia in this game but you can still subsconsciously draw your favorite character (password), and you just realized you are shane by deducing from the notes, calendar and schedule. you are shane
