  77. SQUARE ROOM ESCAPE - WALKTHROUGH

    - Look the color order of books in lower shelf; go right.

    - Zoom UNDER PHONE the get Cube #1; zoom out and go right.

    - Zoom in right side of couch and take the magnifying glass; zoom out.

    - Turn TV on and look the colors (of books) in each corner; go left.

    - Use the MAGNIFYING GLASS on each corner of the picture and figure out the CODE. Numbers change. Go right 4 times.

    - Use your CODE on box and take the (green) Secret Glasses; go left.

    - Green glasses on, open the cupboard and take a book from third shelf to see you need to collect 6 cubes in order to get another set of Secret glasses and, going through the pages, a PHONE NUMBER only visible with the MAGNIFYING GLASS selected; close that view and move left twice.

    - Green glasses on, there's an extra (fourth) hang on the rack; click on it to reveal a box on the couch in which you'll find Cube #2.

    - Green glasses on, zoom behind the couch (right side) and take the blue key; zoom out and go left.

    - Zoom in the phone and dial the NUMBER from the book; if done well the fireplace will open to give you Cube #3. Go left.

    - Green glasses on, use the KEY on the cabinet to get the (light)bulb; go right twice.

    - Green glasses on, turn the TV again and see a CLOCK TIME; go right 4 times.

    - Green glasses on, now you can see 2 buttons beside the clock. Use them to set the clock at the TIME from TV; if done well, an extra drawer on bed will open to give you the Key Conversion Machine. Go right.

    - Green glasses on, open the fridge and take the left piece of cheese; go left twice.

    - Take off the glasses. Click on the stairs to go to the basement.

    - Down there put the BULB and turn lights on. Put the CHEESE in front of the mouse hole and wait to the mouse eat it; take the Piece of metal the mouse gives you in return; go right.

    - Click on Valve-D to have running water on the sink upstairs; then zoom in the pink box and take Cube #4. Zoom out twice (you're upstairs again) and go right twice.

    - Green glasses on, open the fridge again and take the remaining piece of cheese; go left twice.

    - Glasses off, go down to the basement (again), turn lights on (again) and give the cheese to the mouse (again). Now you can get Cube #5. Zoom out (upstairs) and go left twice.

    - Open the water tap and see the mirror moving aside. Put the Conversion Machine in the hole and click on the button to open it. Put the piece of metal inside and wait while it becomes a yellow key; take it and use it on the door on that view to enter a new room.

    - Zoom in the right side of the middle box to get Cube #6. Select the cubes in inventory and start placing them in the boxes, from the upper ones to the bottom. After that you can grab the (purple) Secret Glasses Level 2. Go out and to the right 4 times.

    - Purple glasses on, there are now some shelves on the wall. Move away a box on the lower shelv to find some scissors; take them and go back to the door, 4 times to the left.

    - Enter the room again (with yellow key) and zoom in the left side of middle box. Use the SCISSORS to obtain the red key; zoom out twice (outside) and go right twice.

    - Purple glasses (still) on, use the red key on the lower cupboard to open it and press the green button inside; see the basement stairs move up to allow you to use the door and to do a great Square Room Escape. CONGRATS!

These new avatars might be working for a change :)

    ReplyDelete
  84. o.k. I didn't know that @Peke, thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  85. YW @Madde & debra.

I wondered the same about that little Istanbul 2010 ad in the book, and I even googled it in case it was some clue for the game, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Too funny @ madde, I deleted my "help" because I told you where to USE the scissors, not where to find them...LOL Thanks for the thanks...ha ha
    TY @peke for info...

    ReplyDelete
  87. Never mind the typo's @Edgar. It's looking great as ever!
lol about the avatars, but we never needed those tools here. Who would have thought we would be needing coloured glasses for this one??

    ReplyDelete
  88. lol @Truus, you're right, but think of my useless tools (at least this time) as a lucky amulet instead :)

    ReplyDelete
  89. @Edgar, excellent walkthrough (but I expect nothing less from you :oD !

    ReplyDelete
  90. Sorry to hear about your useless tools @Edgar lol

    ReplyDelete

  94. Lol Truus that's oka :)

    ReplyDelete
  95. Alright I missed something again which game is Prid's

    ReplyDelete
  96. That was a really, really cool game. It was really basic in its design, but it was a ton of fun to figure out without suspending belief, minus hotspot-hunting, and nothing inanely illogical. I hope Cengiz makes a few more.

    ReplyDelete
  97. @apricotmomma, it's the quiz Prid makes on the Minoto games.

    @Edgar, hope you're not offended!
I shall think of them as a lucky amulet instead!!

    ReplyDelete
  98. Good game :-) I needed the Edgar helper though ...so nice to have when you can't do something

    ReplyDelete
  99. Thank you Truus I had forgotten about those games.

    ReplyDelete
  100. lol, of course not @Truus... at all!

    ReplyDelete
  103. Good game and @edgar: great walkthrough! I needed it once or twice just to get to know how the creator od the game thinks. After that I found the game was very logical.

    ReplyDelete
  104. I loved this game so much that I am playing it again!!! Ditto all the comments in favor...
It was a bit of a dark horse...

Thanks for the walkthrough Edgar =)

    ReplyDelete
  109. I just noticed we never used the box under the basement (the one covering the mousehole when you put on the glasses) and the changing stand(the thing people use in changing clothes) covering the sink. I wonder what those were for...
