Where'd you get the first number? I just guessed at it to get out.
where do you use the batteries (check and find number)?

TOWER OF ETERNITY 56F - Walkthrough
1. Our story starts outside the tower main door where alien friend from floor 55 retrieves the red key (click on floor) that evil aliens threw away. Take it when the alien hand the key to you.
2. Open the red box in ABOUT ITEM and get a magnetic generator, which it won't be used on this floor, and the IC card; zoom out and go left (the right way, by the way)
3. Zoom in upper left of super computer and take the memo with the fourth digit of code; go left twice.
4. Find the green key in the right side of cyan cabinet, the battery for PC from the left side and some batteries from the top of it. Batteries won't be used on this floor either, but turn them around in ABOUT ITEM to find the first digit of code.
5. Use battery for PC on wall panel (where the arrow points) and get a magnet, which it won't be used on this floor!! :( but you can turn it around to see the second digit of the code; go left twice.
6. Use green key in Super Computer to see the third digit of code on the monitor; go left
7. Follow the usual procedure on the code box, take the blue key and get out... no sorry, keep going up!! With batteries, magnet, magnetic generator and an empty red box.
See you in floor 57!!

Nice one! This "searching around for the numbers" made a nice change.
excellent WT as always @Edgar! There seemed to be lots of red herrings in this one (like the fans we never turned on, etc.) I liked it! Maybe one day we'll actually get to go through the "other" door.
So, it made sense that he went down after the last floor :)
The way to find the numbers was pleasant and I like that we now need to carry things around to the next floors.
