Got a rope from zooming on top of the back lockers, another piece of wood from the left locker, a piece of wood from the floor to the right of the tall cabinet.
Having a hard time posting. 4th attempt. I don't understand Yalcin's hints or comments regarding the door clue. I have no math skills. So stuck. Oh heck, just tell me the answer. Thanks
Fuse box to right of car in garage. Can't use fuse, w/wire, in it though.

I have been trying that annaby. nothing happens. Thanks. I think I am going to give up, takes about 5 minutes before comment page will load, so my game might be stuck too. Last time I refreshed this game it took 20 minutes to load. Crazy, what is going on??

The numbers 13 and 1957 are from the Newspaper.
Yalcin told us to write 13 1957 with another number as space, and trial and error gave 5 in the middle.
I got the key from the former dark room and used it on kitchen cabinet.
@annaby, after you get the key from the previous dark room, use it in the kitchen on the wall cupboard to get the candle.
Has anyone found the 5 digit code for the "safe" by the stairs? Or the key for the car safe?

You have to use the cork on the bassin (from outside - click right side of bassin) in lab. Then enter acid and metal piece.

You need to zoom twice on basin in lab to be able to use the cork!

Got a key from the "elevator" in the new room upstairs.
Press the switch downstairs in the kitchen to make the elevator go up.
The key is on top of the elevator upstairs.
oh thank goodness- I paused the game and when I played again it let me back out! Phew!

yeah. I have no clue what to do with anything i have - 4 pieces of wood (2 long, 2 short), a candle, a rope, a key, the petrol can, and the l-shaped pipe.

i found a hook from the piggy bank in first room use the candle to light it up then use the l shaped bar to break it

I've tried about 10 times with 236 on left door (and clicking knob) and nothing happens
the 236 isn't working i've tried it many times and tried to turn the knob it inst doing anything
you get a lighter from the room where you got the key from the lift its in the wee drawer at the top of the wardrobe
@Ellie, zoom in the upper part of the car to get a rear view of it, find the petrol can there.
I can use the candle by the piggy bank, but dont get anything from there yet.

I couldn't get 236 to work until I pulled out the cork and put the metal piece in my inventory

Get note book from clothes, and brief case from under the clothes, click on the secret locker (different looking wood).

Got some papers from the briefcase using the key from the elevator (i think).
I have the fuse rigged with the one wire but it won't go into the fusebox. Is there a second wire somewhere?

east- you should have gotten a notebook from the wardrobe you opened with the key from the car. it has the clue for the code.
(joining from Denmark, sorry if my english is bad) When fuse is connected there will be light in the room bestween the starting room and the stairs. in there find wires in the hole in the cupboard. then use L-shaped pipe from the garage on the right cupboeard and get the key behind the crockery bottle.
AndersV, your english is just fine. Don't worry about it - even native english speakers have horrible english (at least in the USA). Welcome aboard!
I see the problem - the game window has an odd zoom factor that chops the bottom off the screen for me. The slide rule scale in the book starts at 2 so I only see the arrows as the book goes in and out of my inventory and can't access them when the book is zoomed in fully. I had the same problem with the newspaper clipping. I think I'll give up on this one...

@Trisana & Keldos - u have 2 put the smaller hand around 10 o'clock & the large hand around where the 2 would b on a clock. keep adjusting slightly to find the right spot & they will get stuck once in the right place...u can then click 2 open

i place the map on the picture on wall at turn on the left upstairs before the 2 rooms that you had to put codes in it opened up and have 5 code boxes but the codes from the photo plates dont seem to work
map goes in the square on that painting that appears when you turn the newel post. 5 codes needed. (hmm, like our five photo plates, maybe?)
