Ok, so it seems that when you click on an object for a few seconds you can either look at it or move it... or talk to it lol

We are meant to attract the dog's attention from boathouse window but he won't react to fish - any ideas, anyone?
In the scene with the dog, click and hold on the barrel, then select the hand, you will get a slingshot
then combine fish with slingshot and throw through opening in roof
You need to get the slingshot in front of the door and attach the fish to it. but still cant throw it to the dog.
then take dog's tags and unscrew hinges on door, door falls off
get crank from man in town, need to fix rowboat.
moving around and talking taking too much time, will play later. Good luck to anyone still here.

fix the boat, go fishing and get the key to port authority. take key to chest from the bottle ship, give it to the captain and get a village pas....
knife is in the port authority office, its actually a letter opener.

This game is only a demo, what a waste of time...
how do you get the key from the bottle ship?
kryst get hook from notice in port sign and use it in bottle
game is too tedious to play full version. Too much talking and you never know if it is essential or not - bah! pity because concept and graphics are good, it is the execution that falls behind in my opinion.
@Tania, tedious is an understatement. But I think there's a good game trying to break out here, it just needs some dynamism.

This was way too boring. To much talk.
This was such a pity. I was really looking forward to this game, because the graphics are great, and the storyline looked engrossing. But the actual mechanics of the gameplay are tedious and annoying. Also, I hate missing anything when playing a game, so for dialog options I will always choose all of them, just to see what it says. But here, they took the other options away if you didn't use them. I'm not going to reload the whole game several times just to see the other choices again. Pfffft. Bad game.

The sign is a fishing notice on the noticeboard on the pier. Take the sign, then later you will find a hook in your inventory that you can use on the bottle in the port authority office.

Click to move your character
Click and hold to have the option to talk, view, and interact with things
Take you cursor to the bottom of the screen to see your inventory. Click an object in the inventory to take it.
A red X means it is something you can look at or interact with
Tab key skips intro secenes. Clicking skips dialog
Getting locked up
Go left past the fountain statue
Talk to the old man when he is done speaking with the man in green
The castle guards will come
Throw all caution to the wind and mouth off to the pompous guards that like to abuse power. Keep doing it in the face of repeated warnings.
Someone will hit the guards with rocks, and you will get blamed in spite of the fact it couldn’t possibly have been you (but by then, they were probably just looking for an excuse)
They knock you out
Wake up in the boat house
Escaping
Go to the window in the right door (you will get a right arrow so you can see out the window)
Click the barrel and take the slingshot hidden in there
Go back
Go to the tarpaulin and take it
Wonder why the woman was hiding since she WANTED to talk to you
You’ll giver her your father’s picture, which she will steal, but it is okay since she gives you a fish (that she hid up her shirt?)
She’ll disappear
In your inventory, click the fish and then the slingshot
Use the slingshot to shoot the fish out the open hatch near the ceiling
Look out the window again
The dog will come to eat the fish
Call him
He will look in the window
Take his collar tags
Use the tags on the hinges of the door
Fixing a boat
Go left through the arch between the lighthouse and the boathouse you escaped from
Talk to the man with the pipe. He will tell you where to find the lawyer you are looking for, the key for the chest in the boathouse, and make a deal for you to fix his boat in exchange for the key to the port authority.
He will give you the winch handle
Go into the port authority office (for some bizarre reason, you don’t think they will arrest you on sight)
Take the letter opener (knife thing from under the fishbowl)
Leave
(I talked to the woman that is next to the Guard in the background, but I don’t think it matters
Now go left to the boathouse again
Go inside the boathouse
Use the winch handle on the winch to the right of the large boathouse doors. Then use the hand symbol to interact with the crank
See the boat needs a patch
Leave the boathouse
Go toward the man with the dog
Get the bucket of tar behind him
Click on the boat to the left of the lighthouse
Use the letter opener to take the patch off of it
Go inside the boathouse
Use the patch on the boat
Use the tar to seal it
Use the hand icon to push the boat to free it
Use the hand icon again to take it
Getting the chest key
Go fishing (it doesn’t matter how well you do)
Exit when time is up
Go to the ferry schedule sign at the end of the pier past the fishermen (all the way right)
Look at the fishing sign on the ferry schedule to see the hook
Take the sign and get the hook
Go left again
Use the key on the port authority door to enter
You need the chest key from the bottle, but the man is blocking it
Play with the radio and he will move
Use the hook on the ship in the bottle to get the key
Leave the office
Getting the village pass
Go to the boathouse
Use the key on the chest
Take the stuff inside
Leave the boathouse and go left to the pier again
Go all the way right and talk to the boat captain
Ask her about getting into the village
She will trade the ship log for a village pass
Give it to her (it’s the book in your inventory) and get the pass
Go left to the port authority
To the left of the buildings is the guard in the background (yeah, just walk up to the guard who arrested you o.O),
He will let you pass if you give him the village pass (it has an eye on it)
The end!
