Have everything tat has, plus turned on PC.
Key opens clock, to get crowbar - can't find anything to wreck with it.

Ah I had my desks confused - found the knife. And there are obviously some more keys about - on I go...

@zoz, I think you have to click the square your chessman moved from.
Oh, there are 2 keys... no wonder couldn't open the clock before.
@ d.adams when facing the fireplace, click on the end table on the right. Knife is in drawer.
i can only move one of the white chess pieces - a pawn i think
@annaby - Right or left lamp? Cause right I already, no knife. Left I can't get to, no matter how I try.
white pawn, 3rd up from bottom is the only one that moves
Little key (the one from the torn desk) opens a box right of desk (besides a Lincoln bust).

@d.adams - it's a white pawn - the only one that moves.
My phone is active but I don't know what to do with it - or where to use the colour code. Help I am stuck...

I'm getting frustrated here. Can only get into the right drawer/desk facing the fireplace. NO other drawers are available for me. There seems to be a desk with a lamp on behind the desk with the PC, but I can't seems to get to that one either. Maybe a bug?

Kvicki-vicki - click around the right-hand flag to get to that table behind the main desk. That's the one with the knife in the drawer. It's quite tricky to get to.

@emma, key for clock is between some books. left zoomable ones.
yeah been clicking those books a million times... no key
in the books that you can zoom into, just click on the bottom left ones one at a time you'll get it that way.
Call me dumb - many do LOL - but I still can't get out. Green lights but no action.. HELP! Phone clue not working.

I'm stuck at the green lights too.
emma, to find the key click somewhere on the left bottom books... the rightmost of them should move.
I've done them every which way... ditto with the phone - there's another phone under the table by the fire, but nothing happens there.. I'm baffled.
Just started and dont want to read too many clues, but need help with USB
The door won't open for me. I used the telephone clue both ways, also used the pattern from the wall, and nothing works for me
for the green lights it is the opposite of what u think. the middle vertical buttons are lit and the bottom buttons are all lit
Oh, and to escape:
-put cog in the bookshelf mechanisme and press the top button to turn both lights green.
-press the buttons on phone pad as in the clue and see how new pattern they make.
-Press the buttons on the door pad to have the green squares like the ones on the phone.
(it should be like an inverted T)

Ohhhhhhhhhh ..... I was doing the phone ALL WRONG Doh. I was trying to re-create the pattern on the wall on the phone, rather than using it as a pattern for the buttons to press. OK, now I don't have to go away and brood - it's all become clear. Thanks, @Edgar!!

No Fun If No Mon ‘Round - Through
Giving instructions on how to move and where to go while writing a Walkthrough is sometimes a time absorbing task to do and possibly a needless one in some games. And in this game with only 4 views, that could be avoided, especially since when looking to something in [About Item] mode, the game gets you back to the starting scene. So I’ll try to name the scenes where things have to be done. That being said… here we go!
Desk View
●Click right of the presidential desk to have a lateral view of it and zoom in the lamp behind the chair. ●Open the drawer and take the knife; zoom all the way back.
●Zoom in the desk to have a rear view of it and zoom in the bottom right corner of it. Use the knife to tear open the leather cover and take a small key; zoom all the way out.
●Zoom in the right cupboard (with a Lincoln bust on it) and use the key to open the box. Take one half of the paper sheet with color clue. Zoom out.
●Zoom now in the left cupboard and again in the cigars box; take the cigar from the ashtray and click on it on inventory to have a closer look to it… you should see a clue for computer; go right.
Main Door View
●Zoom in the left shelves and click on the 7th book from the left to find a larger key behind; take it and zoom out.
●Take a bottle with water from the right shelves as well.
Old Clock view
●Zoom in the clock and use the larger key to open it and to take the crowbar.
Fireplace View
●Zoom in the lower side of George Washington’s picture to see a clue for computer.
●Zoom in the right lamp table and open the drawer to take a USB stick.
●Zoom in the fireplace and use the bottle to put out the fire and to take the other half of the paper sheet. Look at both halves of the paper sheet and see the color code.
Fireplace View
●Zoom in the TV and enter the colors on the lower right part of it to see where a secret compartment has been revealed; zoom out.
●Use the crowbar on the left bookstand (no need to zoom) to move it away. Zoom in there to see the phone pattern and to take a little blue cog from the floor.
Desk View
●Zoom in the desk and again on the chess board; click on the white queen’s bishop’s pawn to move it and click on the white free square (it should go down a bit) to power the computer on; zoom out once.
●Zoom in the computer; put USB stick in it, type name and password, click on [Log In] and phone is active now. Zoom out once.
●Zoom now in the phone left of the computer and press the keys as the previous pattern showed… see a new pattern of squares displaying on the upper screen and remember it.
Main Door View
●Zoom in the left shelves and see (as you did on TV before) the open compartment; zoom in it, place the blue cog inside and push the red button to have both (upper and lower) lights green.
●Zoom out twice and zoom in the door (left) pad with green squared lights on it.
●Click on the green squares to remove the ones to reproduce the pattern from the phone. Once done, 4 green light around the panel should go green.
●Click on the door now and you are out!! Congrats!
SOLUTIONS

Colors shown in both halves of the paper sheet are
Purple – Red – Blue – Green – Gray
For Computer Log-In

For Phone – Door Code
Click on the phone keys as shown on the wall clue, like this:

I'll start with the most confusing first!
click on bottom middle of right flag behind desk, then on bottom of lamp, then below lamp base to open drawer...get knife!
Zoom out and click laptop, then right of it on desktop, use knife there and get key!
click on chessboard, click 3rd white pawn from bottom and then click square left unoccupied. this turns on computer.
now we need a password...
If the music is already getting to you, there is a handy blue mute button at top of inventory box...
click cabinet left of desk, then the box left of statue, take cigar from ashtray...
click cabinet right of desk, use key on box, get paper clue...
zoom out , go right, get water bottle from shelf right of door...
click shelves left of door, click books at bottom left to find key...
out and right, use water on fire, (zoom first), get other part of paper clue...
click portrait over fireplace, make note of date
click end table right of fireplace, open drawer, get usb...
click flatscreen above right lamp and use color code from papers ((((prbgw))) and see something revealed...
go right and use key from books on the grandfather clock, get crowbar...
go left and use crowbar on bookcase left of fireplace, click on place it moved from, get a cog from floor, note pattern on wall...
go left, click revealed place on shelves left of door, place cog and press red button...
you now have a place for exit code on door, but not ready yet!
left, click laptop, put usb in, first line need word from cigar, for pw, use date on portrait

phone is now activated...the fun begins...
click phone left of laptop, click bottom keypad according to wall code from behind bookcase,
if you imagine a phone touch pad you will be clicking 2,3,4,6,0,#...
look at upper keypad, and duplicate it onto door keypad ...and...
