Small Wooden House Escape

Small Wooden House Escape is another new point and click room escape game from Games2escape. My father has a small beautiful Wooden House on the hill,that's his villa.Once a day, my father wanted me to go back the wooden house on the hill to get his favourite millet wine and presbyopic glasses, and water his flowers near the windowsills. Since I hadn't be there for a long time, maybe there had be changed too much for me to recognize. However, I really wanted to finish the errand all by myself. Good luck and have fun!

  4. Same problem and solution here zoz. By the way if Ellie is doing a walkthrough why are you writing down all the items?
    Robert, your code solution is really simple there are only 3 numbers that can make 9 and two of them are the same.

  5. Yeah... got water.
    If you´re facing trouble emptying the bucket, do not empty it in black hole, but on top of the pump.
    You have to do that to eliminate the air inside the pipe, to pull the water.
    I know that, because I saw a pump like that in a friend´s ranch.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Roberto your numbers are 1 and 9. Only need flower number.

  7. @small tool, i'm just assuming Ellie is doing the WT. Still, in a game this pixelly, it's nice to have a list of where things are without reading through the solutions, etc.

  9. Where Things Are Through

    Rod of the Piston of the Ancient Well (aka the "heavy thing"): on the far right side of the porch when you face the house from just inside the gate. It's on the ground (don't need to zoom)

    Paper Card (with clue): in the plant in the white pot on the left side of the porch
    Black Piece : beneath the center plant on the right side of the porch
    Nail : go right from facing the house, then zoom on the brown tree twice. The nail is sticking out from the right side of the trunk, at the same level as the top of the fence

    Rod (aka "stick"): from the nail view, back up twice, click on well, then go left. It is leaning against the trunk of the greyish tree on the left

    Forcerod (will be used on well) and number clue: from rod view, back up twice, go left, zoom on white willow tree, then go right, then click on the brown wooden structure on the right (whew!). The number clue is along the concrete base and is different for each game. The forcerod is leaning against the inside of the shed, just above the number on the clue.

    Ancient Well (aka "pump"): from the view of the shed where you get the number clue, the top of the pump can be seen in the background, just left of the middle post. Clicking on it from here is the only way I know to get to it.

    Rocker (aka "handle" aka "boyoboy was this ever hard to find"):
    from the shed where forcerod and clue were, back up once. The handle is sticking out from the dark green plant/shrub, on the right near the ground.

    Cask (aka "Bucket"): go to well. The Rocker goes in the black area on the left end of the cross beam that must be wound to pull bucket up. It's pixelly, so if it doesn't go in right away, try again. Click the bucket and it goes in the well. Click the rocker over and over until bucket comes up.

    Key : on the left side of porch, click up arrow. Key is on right and can be reached with rod

    Radio (aka "$#$%^&%$**^%#@ stupid pixel hunt *Y%$^&!"): in view of shelves, click just above the top of the shelves, slightly left of the right side.

    Second Number Clue above the fireplace, on the wooden cover.

    Third Number Clue on top of the table beside bed, behind the clock (must use glasses to read it)

    Adjustable Spanner : on the floor beside the giant urn, on the left.

    Scissors under the bed

    Screwdriver : in drawer on bottom of shelves

    Second Rod for Pump remove latch from window leaning against right side of house

    Glasses on the left side of porch, beside white planter ( after watering plants)

    Wine Bottle (aka "Chili Peppers in Oil, Vintage Undetermined"): In the chest, after getting code

  15. @MyDispolayName, I would have to open the game again to answer to that, and it could take some time. Just notice the order on the radio... radio is on the top of the cabinet (zoom somewhere on the right side of it)

  16. @MyDisplayName:
    Order for code is: flower,heart,star,grass,moon.
    Therefore: 591810 (your numbers)

  17. Edgar- Its not opening with the code 591810

  18. @MyDisplayName, maybe you need to see the radio first? Or maybe I'm completely wrong! :S

    can anybody help með with the radio clue ?? I have tryed for 2 hours and im really stuck :s

    I hvae

    4 Flower
    14 heart + moon
    25 star + grass + star
    22 flower + heart + moon + flower
    28 Blank 14 4

    and the order is flower (4) heart star grass moon

    Thank you so mutch

  22. Hi Dögg:
    Flower = 4
    Heart = 10
    Star = 10
    Grass = 5
    Moon = 4

    Hope it's correct.

    ReplyDelete
  23. @Edgar

    ohh you are a life saver ;) it works :D

    ReplyDelete
  24. Explanation:
    HEART + STAR = 20
    HEART + MOON = 14

    Therefore STAR & MOON have a difference of 6.

    If STAR + MOON = 14; then they have to be 10 & 4 (Two digits that add up 14 with a difference of 6)

    ReplyDelete
  25. thank you wery mutch :D but can you tell me i have try to read every post but i still cant get the pump to give me water and i cant spill the water in the can :/

    ReplyDelete
  26. LOL Dögg, great! glad to have helped :)

    ReplyDelete
  27. OK Dögg, to empty your bucket you have to drag it somewhere in the upper part of the pump... I think where the rods get connected.
    Place your empty bucket under the pump (dragging it) and click on the pump handle to fill it up with water... it will work after 3 or more clicks.

  43. hello, just wanted to tell everyone about the game "Choko-Chai Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" game. I was going to leave a comment there, but it was messed up somehow and there was no where to leave a comment, but about the game...when you finish and on the screen where it says 'Congratulations' you can click on the red arrow in the bottom right hand corner and it will show several photos of three different cats. I'm guessing it's the owner's cats that made the game. They are so cute, and I didn't see anyone mention them on the game comments so I didn't think anyone knew about it. I just wanted to put this here in case anyone that hasn't played it yet will know how to look at the photos if they want when they finish the game.

    Butterfly - flower + chick = 7

    order should be chick, owl, butterfly, flower...

    ReplyDelete
  47. @Dögg, I noticed that's the hardest code of them all, in a way... I mean, no matter if you get the numbers, trial and error is often necessary.

    Butterfly = 7
    Owl and Chick = 9 and 8 (or viceversa)
    Flower = Chick (same numbers on both)

    Try the possible combinations... hope it's useful enough for you.

  48. Arrgh. I bruteforced the chest and got my bottle of pepper oil booze. Thanks to the many clues here I got all the pieces for the pump and filled my bucket.

    I watered the plants on the right first, and they got all sparkly - sweet.

    I then read I needed to water the plants on the left to get some glasses, so I tried to water them, but nothing happens... what am I missing? I know I'm so close to the end! Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Edit: ahhh, got it, you have to water the pixel. (Water specifically the white flower on the far left pot).

    ReplyDelete
  50. @Andrea, it's just a matter of finding the right spot to water them... maybe above the plant in the white pot? I can't remember where exactly... or if you need to refill the bucket, doubtfully though.

  51. LOL, you got it already! I wouldn't have been of much help anyway :P

  52. Pixel Click Through, part one
    please refer to the "Where Things Are Through" posted at 21:37

    This is a great game, even though it involves quite a few pixel hunts. In order to use an item in the inventory, you must click and drag it to where you want to use it.

    Opening Screen: click on the rope or wire holding the gate shut, then click on the gate to open it. Go forward.

    Facing the House, inside the gate take the "piston rod of an ancient pump" (see Where Things Are Through (WTAT) above.

    - Click left side of porch, then zoom on plant in white pot on the left. Take the Paper Card
    - Back up twice and zoom on the right side of the porch. Take the black piece from underneath the planter in the center.
    - Back up and go right
    - zoom twice on red/brown tree and take nail (see WTAT )
    - zoom on well and go left; take rod
    - note window frame on left, leaning against house
    - back up 3 times from window frame and go left to face house, then left again
    - zoom on white willow tree, then go right
    - take Rocker from green shrub (see WTAT )
    - click on edge of house on the right of the screen
    - note Number Clue on concrete floor of shed; it will be an equation where Frog x Chick x Bug = ? (? is different for every game)
    - take forcerod (see WTAT )
    - note ancient pump in background
    - back up from pump three times, then go right to face house
    - click on left side of porch, then click "Up" arrow
    - use Rod (remember to click and drag item to use it) to get key from crossbeam on the right
    - back up twice and use key on front door
    - enter house
    - go right once to face the shelving unit. Take the radio from the top of the unit (see WTAT )
    - note order of symbols on radio (Flower-Heart-Star-Grass-Moon)
    - back up and go right, then zoom on round wooden cover atop fireplace
    - note equation: chick + owl - bug = ? (again, the ? will differ in each game)
    - back up and go right twice
    - click on the floor to the left of the giant urn and take the adjustable spanner
    - back up and go right
    - click under the bed, near the bedside table, and take the scissor
    - back up and click on the clock (@kkf, it's another funny sounding clickety clock, lol)
    - note that there is an equation behind the clock but it it too small to see

    ReplyDelete
  53. I think what a lot of people didn't get and I missed it myself is you have to use your partial bucket of water on the top of the pump to prime it and then you will get water in a few tries.

  55. So my code is
    Owl x Chick x Butterfly = 20
    Chick + Owl - Butterfly = 0
    Butterfly - Flower + Chick = -3

    I can only think 2x2x5 are the correct numbers for 20, but then I cannot for the life of me work out the second equation, let alone the last!
    I SOOOO don't get it. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  56. Pixel Click Through, part two

    - highlight the "piston rod of an ancient pump" (aka "the heavy thing") and click to look at the bottom of it
    - use the spanner to remove the bolt.
    - close that view
    - highlight the black piece in your inventory and use the scissors on it. A circular piece with a hole in the middle will be cut
    - highlight the heavy thing and click and drag the black circular piece to it
    - use the spanner to reattach the bolt

    Now for some math!
    You will be needing a screwdriver, and this requires that you work out the numbers from the Paper Card you got from the plant on the porch. Although the numbers differ for each game, here is an example:
    2 flower
    19 heart moon
    23 star grass star
    23 flower heart moon flower
    ---21----?---22---2

    So, first off, we know that flower = 2
    Looking at the bottom horizontal line, 2+2 + heart + moon = 23, so heart + moon = 23 -4 = 19.
    This is confirmed in the second horizontal line from the top (heart + moon)
    Looking at the left vertical line, we know that 2+2+ heart + star = 21, so heart + star = 21 -4 = 17
    Star + Moon = 22 (third vertical line from the left)
    Heart + Moon (19) < Star + Moon (22), so Heart < Star
    Heart + Star (17) < Moon + Star (22), so Heart < Moon
    This is where I just start plugging numbers in to see how they work out. In this case, if we set Heart = 7 and Flower = 2, then Star must = 10 and Moon must +12.
    SO (vertically) F + H + S + F = 2 +7 + 10 +2 = 21
    and (horizontally) F + H + M + F = 2 + 7 + 12 +2 = 23
    Now, we just have to figure out the value of Grass, which is
    Star + Grass + Star = 23, or 10 + G + 10 = 23 or 20 + G = 23 or G=3
    Now that I have totally confused everyone, let's proceed!
    (I really don't know how to explain this more clearly; I'll leave that to Edgar the Math Man)

  57. Pixel Click Through, part three

    - now that we have the numbers, we can open the safe at the bottom of the shelving unit using the order from the radio. In this case, F,H,S,G,M = 2, 7, 10, 3, 12.
    - enter the code into the safe and press "OK" ( I highly recommend that you enter an incorrect code first, just to hear the response)
    - take the screwdriver
    - go back out of the house, turn around, and go around to the right side of the house and zoom on the window leaning against the side of the house
    - use the screwdriver on the latch on the window and get a bolt/metal piece
    - back up to the well, and place the rocker/handle on the black piece on the left of the horizontal beam used to wind the bucket up and down.
    - click on the cask/bucket to push it in the well, then click on the rocker eight times and take the bucket
    - go back to the shed on the left end of the porch (where the First Number Code is and where you got the forcerod
    - click on the ancient pump behind the shed
    - take the Piston/heavy thing that you added the black piece to and place it on the top of the pump.
    - take the forcerod and place it on top of the piston
    - take the bolt/metal piece from the window and place it in the left hole under the forcerod
    - take the nail and place it in the right hole under the forcerod
    Now, to prime the pump, take the bucket that is partially filled with water from the well, and drag it to the top of the pump, below the handle (imagine pouring water into the top of the pump).
    - next put the bucket under the pump (or put the "cask in the cistern" according to the game)
    - then, click, click, click on the pump handle to fill the bucket and take the filled bucket
    -use the bucket to water the plants on the left side of the porch and take the glasses from between the white and black pots
    - use the bucket to water the plants on the right side of the porch also, or you won't be able to leave later
    - now go inside and use the glasses to read the code on the bedside table: there should be an equation that says
    Bug - Flower + Chick = ? ( where ? is different for each game)
    - using all of the equation hints (from the concrete base of the shed, the cover atop the fireplace, and the bedside table) derive the code for the chest. Enter the code and take the wine bottle (which is really a bottle with chili peppers in oil) and....
    - Exit through the front gate!

  61. @jillydoc, try this:
    Owl x Chick x Butterfly = 4 x 1 x 5 = 20
    then,
    Chick + Owl - Butterfly = 1 + 4 -5 = 0
    then
    Butterfly - Flower + Chick = -3,
    so
    5 - Flower + 1 = -3
    and Flower = 9

    Butterfly - Flower + Chick = 8
    Can you help me, please?

    ReplyDelete
  65. @Edgar this works :) ty so mutch I wag going to let this game go I have NEVER bin so ling with escape game :/ and I only manage to ecape with ypur help :D

    ReplyDelete
  66. pierpor,

    I'll give you the solution and work it out here so it can be an example for others.

    You first said:
    AxBxC=144
    B+A-C=3
    A-D+B=8
    and later you said:
    Owl x Chick x Butterfly = 144
    Chick + Owl - Butterfly = 3
    Butterfly - Flower + Chick = 8

    but if it is like you gave the letters it is:
    Owl x Chick x Butterfly = 144
    Chick + Owl - Butterfly = 3
    Owl - Flower + Chick = 8
    and I'll work with that first.

    - First we look at 144 and we do (Owl x Chick) x Butterfly.
    We could put owl and butterfly together or chick and butterfly, but it doesn't matter (why you see later)

    - Now we look how we can divide 144 by a number (a number made out of two numbers). Those numbers are:
    24 (6x24), 18 (8x18) and 16 (9x16)
    And for example NOT 12 because making 144 with 12 you need and other 12 and that's a number with two digits and in this example it would be the butterfly but on the codebox you can only put in 0,1, etc.... til 9.

    - Now we have:
    (24) x 6 and the 6 is the butterfly and 24 is owl x butterfly
    and again looking for two numbers that make 24. Those numbers are:
    4 x 6 or 3 x 8 so it would be
    (4 x 6) x 6 or (3 x 8) x 6
    and the the places can switch so for example it could be:
    (8 x 3) x 6 or (6 x 8) x 3 etc. But not important.

    - For 18 it's 3 x 6 or 2 x 9 and for 16 it's 4 x 4 or 2 x 8
    - So we have:
    - (4 x 6) x 6 or (3 x 8) x 6 or
    - (3 x 6) x 8 or (2 x 9) x 8 or
    - (4 x 4) x 9 or (2 x 8) x 9
    and rember in one equation the numbers can change place

    - Now we look at Chick + Owl - Butterfly = 3 and we can find a combination that fits.
    - With 3, 8, 6 in whatever combination you can never make 3. In fact there is only one that can and that is:
    - With 2, 9, 8. (2+9)-8=3, but also (9+2)-8=3
    - So we now know the Butterfly is 8
    - We were lucky because we allready chose butterfly as the third. But if we had done
    Owl x (Chick x Butterfly) we had 8 x (2 x 9) and then by making
    Chick + Owl - Butterfly we had realised that with the numbers 2, 9, 8 the Owl couldn't be 8 and it had to be the Butterfly.

    Now we have:
    Butterfly = 8
    Owl = 9 or 2
    Chick = 2 or 9
    And with the last equation we can find the Flower
    Owl - Flower + Chick = (Owl + Chick) - Flower = 8
    and that is (11) - Flower = 8
    and that is (11) - 8 = Flower and that is 3
    11 was Owl + Chick and that can be 2+9 or 9+2

    And now we have:
    Butterfly = 8
    Owl = 9 or 2
    Chick = 2 or 9
    Flower = 3
    and now you can trial and error the code with only two possibillities (owl=9 and chick=2 or the other way around.

    If it was like you wrote with Butterfly - Flower + Chick = 8
    Then it is 8 - Flower +Chick=8

    With chick=2 it is:
    8-Flower+2=8 and the Flower=2
    And the owl is 9 (butterfly=8)

    With chick=9 it is:
    8-Flower+9=8 and the Flower=9
    And the owl is 2 (butterfly=8)

  67. I'm sorry @zoz, I couldn't stay to write the wt nor to answer your question about it. Had a plane to catch...
    Thank you so much for writing! And thank you @Edgar and @small-tool for staying to help with the calculations!
    Need to leave again, these planes never wait for you to play games lol.

  68. @ Small-Tool and Edgar.. thank you for the code help. after many hours and tries, you both posted very clear explanations for the codes.. Thank you so much! I have been working on this puzzle for two days now!!!!! THANKS

  69. I liked this game up till the code. Spent way too much time trying to figure it out. I suck at math. Giving up. Game has stopped being fun. Sad, I was enjoying everything else. If any one knows of an online code breaking engine that would solve this math problem please post. Thanks

  70. Please somebody Im terrible when it comes to math.My numbers r 7,6,28,20 vertically and 32,blank,14,7 horizontaly.

  71. I keep trying to use the stick to get the key, but it just says too high to reach and never grabs it??? I am pulling the stick out and putting it where the key is at and no luck.

  72. @Lisa, using your numbers:

    HEART + STAR = 18
    HEART + MOON = 16
    (Difference of 2 between STAR & MOON... and STAR is the higher)

    STAR + MOON = 14
    Find 2 numbers that add 14 with a difference of 2 in them)

    That's 8 and 6 (standing for STAR and MOON... in that order)

    ReplyDelete
  73. Thank u so much Edgar.

    ReplyDelete
  74. @Jayce, make sure you're dragging the ROD and not any other "stickish" item... or maybe you haven't found the right darn pixel... idk.

    ReplyDelete
  75. You're welcome @Lisa :)
    Differently from before I thought it would be better to help explaining a bit of my reasoning instead of just giving away the numbers. The replacement is still yours to do... and part of the fun too I hope :)

    ReplyDelete
  76. Well I still cant figure it out I guess I really am horrible at math LOL

    ReplyDelete
  77. My heart and moon equals 6.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Edgar I need more help Please!

    ReplyDelete
  79. @Lisa, I'm embarrasingly sorry :(
    I guess doing math is not the best thing to do first thing in the morning without a single cup of coffee yet.
    Here I go again:

    HEART + STAR = 18
    HEART + MOON = 6
    (Difference of 12 between STAR & MOON... and STAR is the higher)

    STAR + MOON = 14
    Find 2 numbers that add 14 with a difference of 12 in them)

    That's 13 and 1 (standing for STAR and MOON... in that order)

    ReplyDelete
  80. I should have made the whole replacement myself in order to notice my mistake.
    Now I've done it and got HEART = 5 and GRASS = 2.
    Hope you've got the same and please forgive for that wrong piece of info!

    ReplyDelete
  81. Thank u Edgar I got it now.

    ReplyDelete
  82. weep, someone please help, my math is..cough cough..ToT

    5 Flower
    11 heart + moon
    21 star + grass + star
    21 flower + heart + moon + flower
    ____22____?____13____5

    ReplyDelete
  83. For @May:

    HEART + STAR = 12
    HEART + MOON = 11
    (Difference of 1 between STAR & MOON... and STAR is the higher)

    STAR + MOON = 13
    Find 2 numbers that add 13 with a difference of 1 in them)

    That's 7 and 6 (standing for STAR and MOON... in that order)

    ReplyDelete
  84. The order of my radio is:
    flower,heart,star,grass,moon so..hmm..so..hm..so.so...cough cough >o<..sigh

    Your numbers are:

    Flower = 3
    Heart = 6
    Moon = 12
    Star = 6
    Grass = 5

    ReplyDelete
  91. i cant work out my final code

    owl x chick x butterfly = 140
    butterfly - flower + chick = 5
    chick + owl - butterfly = 2

    help plz

    ReplyDelete
  92. Rare---1

    You're butterfly is 7, that's for sure.
    owl = 4
    chick = 5
    flower = 6

    or

    owl = 5
    chick = 4
    flower = 7

    ReplyDelete
  93. Sorry wrong
    owl=4, chick=5 and flower=7
    or
    owl=5, chick=4 and flower=6

    ReplyDelete
  94. thank you once again it was the owl = 4 combination

    ReplyDelete
  95. I just can't do the math, no matter how hard I try. My numbers:

    Flower 2
    Heart + Moon 14
    Star + Grass + Star 23
    Flower + Heart + Moon + Flower 18

    Flower + Heart + Star + Flower 19
    Moon + Grass + Heart ?
    Star + Moon 15
    Flower 2

    ReplyDelete
  96. @Katak:

    Flower=2
    Heart=7
    Star=8
    Moon=7
    Grass=7

    Try with those.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Thanks a lot! I didn't even think that some number would be used several times. D'oh! Well, the other one I was able to solve myself :)

    ReplyDelete
  98. Just in case anyone else gets the same numbers I did, I'll post my answers:

    Owl x Chick x Butterfly = 126
    Chick + Owl - Butterfly = 14
    Butterfly - Flower + Chick = 8

    Then Chick, Owl, Butterfly, Flower = 9,7,2,3

    Purple Flower = 13
    Heart + Moon = 13
    Star + Grass + Star = 24

    Then Flower, Heart, Star, Grass, Moon = 13, 4, 11, 2, 9

    And major thanks to zoz for daring a walkthrough on this frustrating game! It was pixelly and annoying far too often, and your WT saved me from walking away screaming.

    ReplyDelete
  99. hmmm...over 300 comments and mentions of pixel hunting. Yeah, there's zero chance I will get through this game without help :P

    ReplyDelete
  100. well, I did need help finding some of the objects. Thanks for the great walkthrough Zoz. I got all the math on my own, which is quite an achievement for me.

    It took me FOREVER to get the chest code. I thought I was supposed to use the flower number from earlier. I finally realized it was a different flower, and I then solved the problem in a few tries.

  101. A x B x C= 81
    B + A - C= 9
    C – D + B=11

    Anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  102. Charlotte Lacrym,
    C=3, that's for sure
    A=3 and B=9 or
    A=9 and B=3

    So it's
    A=3
    B=9
    C=3
    D=1

    or

    A=9
    B=3
    C=3
    D= -5

    And I don't think they do negative numbers so it's the first one.
