guys since im restarting the game am at this piano taking the cards and i noticed something a box with 6 red buttons when u press them they turn yellow then when u complete them it says it needs power something like that check it out!!

cool you don't have to put in tank, click on tank it will say something like you have to heat more the room to get steam to get water in tank.

Drisana I think I know what the problem is ... In order to get the thing from the fire room I had to turn the fire low and I can't heat it up again.
So there is no steam coming in the room anymore.

You have to put the fire UNDER the ice room.

but if you but fire behind ice, you should have melted ice no ? (fire 1st fllor ice 2nd floor )

Yes, but in order to get steam in the room, which is needed to fill the tank, the fire has to be under the ice after you fixed the tank.
I now have all clocks working except for the electrical one. I am almost with you Drisana.

If you had not already helped me so much, I would hate you for that mistake.
No matter what I did, soon as I put the fire behind the ice room the water froze again.
I was getting desperate.

ice i think the 3rd floor is the exit. so not open yet. Just read comments on the first page, i think all is written. Just think that you need to put the fire room UNDER / BELOW the ice one ;)

Got it, you have to put the lightroom left to furnace room first and then flip the switch to the left. Then you go up and put the lightroom right of the clockroom.
I am almost with you Drisana, only have to set the clocks now.

Silver, when you used the electricity next to the furnace you could see that the left one went through the wall en lit the laser. Right?
Now, the electrical clock is on the right side of the clockroom and getting power from the wall.
So you have to turn the switch to the left and put the lightroom to the right of the clockroom.
That's all.

Drisana, I was thinking that maybe SEE WIND was one of them translation errors and we should look for the chinese word for SEA WIND?????

Ok silver, step by step :
put light room right of fire room. Enter fire room. go right trough door. you're now on light room. Put swicth pointing left (you must see electicity in left pipe). Go out of light room, go out of fire room. In elevator, move rooms so that light room is right side of clock room. and tadaaaaaaaaaam

now, for red/yellow dots, put wind room left of the room with the dots. you will see in what order you have to click.

Okay seawind in Russian = Sivind
In chinese = Xi wēn dé
see wind in chinese = Jiàn fēng
in russian = sm. veter

rudder in chinese = Duò
in Russian = руль

But I can not get my chinese flag to work.

Silver I think if you have all 6 clocks working, you arer almost where we are.
All you need is to get the black filter and get the code.
Then you can join us going nuts about it.

For the chinese ones, you have to input chinese charaters not "letters" (don't know the word for it)
to make it shine, light room switch must point to the left and you have tu put light room right of contrl room.

how is that and the wind room is the room with the red yellow dots!!

okay Drisana I filled i the Chinese characters and got both the Russian and the Chinese proverb on the screen.

The russian proverb means something like: search for blowholes.
Did we not see some vents in the ice room?

Drisane, we have a few things left that we dd nothing with I think.
The vents in the ice room. And I noticed some gear things on the floor in the clockroom.

Now, we have one Chinese proverb meaning:
Change one's position when having difficulties.

And one Russian proverb meaning: search for blowholes.

In sand room, on right side, there are circles on the wall, as if there were pipes... but there is no pipe... 'm looking at everything i'm going crazy.

And i don't understand why this game is rated 2.39; it's an excellent game in my opinion. i will rate it 5 depending on what is this f!!!!!!! final code ;)

Drisana, those circles are in all rooms. Looks like there are 4 on every wall and some are used, some ar not.
Yeah it IS a great game, just so damn annoying that we can't figure it out. That fact that it's difficult makes it good.

Search for wind in the field sounds to me like looking for something that is everywhere but you can not catch.
I cannot find a good translation for it.

It's was not that easy Millie, 'cause when I translated the word WIND in google translator I got a totally different character.

I think it had more to do with the placement. I have no clue what the characters mean. lol. I am not a genius! :)

Thanks for the moral support and help, gals. We sure do know how to kill a few hours. lol. My hubs was in bed the whole time--- none the wiser... lol was staying up with a 4 year old with a head wound--- kept me awake enough. :)

I played until I got all the tiles in place at around 2 this morning then saved my game. Now I come back to finish and it starts me at the beginning? Did others have this problem? Is there a way around it? I don't want to have to do those stupid colored tubes again!

doh! I didn't even see that! Unfortunately, stupid me saved the other game and now I'm back to square one. I think that makes me officially Too Stupid To Play This Game!

You just have to follow the guidelines we gave. We girls did all the hard work for you.
Just remember: when Drisana says the fire room should be behind the ice room, she means below it.
It took me hours of shifting rooms before she told me that was wrong.

ok since I just had to do it again, I'm posting a
WT FOR THE COLORED TUBES
1. Empty the green tube (using valve below it)
2. Empty the yellow tube
You should now have the first three tubes (yellow, purple, and green) Empty.
3. Fill the purple tube to the red line (using the valve above it). The yellow and green tubes will be filled to the red line along with the purple.
4. Fill the black tube to the line - the blue tube fills to the line along with the black, while the yellow, purple, and green tubes stay at the line.
5. Pull black lever on left - the furnace is now on!

Drisana, he just smiled and went upstairs to backup data, 'cause we have to rearrange our network.
So he's playing to ... until he gets into trouble and then he will call me. I'm in IT.

I have the vertical shifting access, but I can't make it happen for some reason. The instructions say to click on the empty space, but nothing moves at all. I can't get any further without being able to shift the rooms up and down :o( Just read *all* the comments, and most of it just scared me cos I wasn't up to that part yet and it just seems to complicated for my little brain! Roll on whoever understands this enough to write a walkthrough!

But, in the meanwhile, how to I move rooms vertically?

Imagine that there are 2 layers of wheels above each other. Now if you have the bottom left space open, you can click the top left room to move down.
Then you can shift rooms on the upper layer. Until you have an open space above the room you want to move up.
It's kinda tricky at first, but you get used to it.

Thanks Cool :o) I was trying to, e.g., move the bottom left from level 2 down to top left on level 1. I think I may have to save and come back later though, as my brain is frazzled, and I know from reading the comments that it only gets *a lot* harder from here on in! Lol.

I love this game! I started playing it a while after it was out, and got as far as only missing one gear for the clock in the gear room. I never reached third floor, and then had to go to bed but will try to go on for a while now :)

WALKTHROUGH, PART 1
This turned out to be a very long WT, and you’ll probably finish faster if you just try to solve the game on your own lol.
Some parts of this game are hard to describe in detail, and I won’t tell exactly how to move the rooms in the elevator at all times, just which rooms that need to be adjacent to or above each other. I needed help to get the last password. Thanks @Millie! I also needed help to melt the ice room and to find one of the gears. Thanks @Cool and @Drisana!
To pick up new items and put away items into the inventory, click on the hand to the left.

ELEVATOR
There is a green light flashing and if you click on it you’ll get to the Room Control. You don’t have any access there yet, so for now you only have two choices of rooms. You see on the floors below the doors to which rooms they lead.
Pick up the Piece of Tile #1 from the floor.
Click on the right door.

COMPUTER ROOM
Move forward.
Pick up the watering can from the floor.
Zoom on the drawers to the right.
Top drawer needs a cupper key.
From bottom drawer you get a wooden statue part.
The drawers to the left need a gold key and a platinum key.
Click on the desk to see the Elevator Control.
No access yet, and no password to enter.
Take the gold statue from the right side of the table.
Move back into the elevator.
Choose the left door this time.

FIRE ROOM
Move forward.
Time for the first puzzle.
You need to turn the valves by the tubes to make the colors be exactly at the red lines (all of them).
Then pull the lever to the left.
Fire is on!!
Help for this is shown at the end of the Walkthrough.
Put your WATER in the “bottle” between the two openings with fire.
Put the GOLD STATUE in the right opening with fire to melt it.
Turn the wheel at the water bottle.
Get a gold key.
To the left, you need a key.
To the right you need more smoke, and a key as well.
To get more smoke, put the WOODEN STATUE in the fire on the floor.
See some green letters on the wall: BBEPX.
(The laser from the room to the right need to be on.
If you have already been in there and changed things, turn the lower switch to the left).
Go back to the elevator.
Pick up a Piece of Tile #2 outside the elevator.

COMPUTER ROOM
Use the GOLD KEY in the top left drawer.
Get a fire key.
If you try the letters from the smoke as a password it won’t work.
You’ll need to turn the keyboard into Russian letters first.

Go back to the Fire Room, turn right by the fire machine, and use the FIRE KEY to unlock the door.

LIGHT BULB ROOM
(since the symbol in the elevator shows a light bulb for this room)
Turn right to see the Power Machine.
The lower switch gives power to the left fiber optic cable (green lasers in the Fire Room).
Move it to the right instead (to change the keyboard in the Computer Room to Russian).
Move right to see a place for your tiles (you need two more).
Go to the:

COMPUTER ROOM
Zoom on the desk.
If you turned the switch right you should have a Russian flag there now.
Press “enter password”.
Press the letters you got from the smoke, then press Enter.
Level 2 – access granted!

WALKTHROUGH, PART 2
ELEVATOR, LEVEL 2
Press the up arrow to the right in the elevator to move to Level 2.
You have access to two rooms here.
The left door leads to an Ice Room.
Turn around to face the elevator and pick up the red color filter.
The right door leads to the Wind Room.
You’ll find an organ, seven statues and six buttons, but you can’t do anything yet.
Instead go to the:

LIGHT BULB ROOM
Insert the RED COLOR FILTER into the top black hole in the Power Machine.
Turn the lower switch to send power to this room (up).
You’ll see the room in red color.
Turn left and note the numbers in the painting.
You’ll need them for the organ in the Wind Room.
Go there again.

WIND ROOM
Zoom on the organ.
“The sound is horrible” when you press the keys.
Use the red buttons above the numbers on the pipes to switch places.
Put them in the order from the painting.
Now, you need to play the notes (letters) for all of the statues, one at a time. Then the panels below the statues open and you’ll get six colored pictures and a platinum statue (don’t forget to play “CAGE” as well).
To figure out which letters that belong to which numbers, use the clue on CAGE, and some trial and error.
Solution below.

FIRE ROOM
Melt your PLATINUM STATUE (and use water on it) to get a platinum key

COMPUTER ROOM
Unlock the lower left drawer with the PLATINUM KEY.
Get industrial tongs and Piece of Tile #3.

FIRE ROOM
Use the INDUSTRIAL TONGS to pick up a diamond from inside the central fire in the machine.

LIGHT BULB ROOM
Insert the DIAMOND into the Power Machine.
Turn the upper switch to the right.
See a spectrum with the colors:
Red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple.

COMPUTER ROOM
Put your six COLORED PICTURES in the back wall.
Use the order from the diamond spectrum.
Get a time key.

FIRE ROOM
Turn left by the fire machine.
Use the TIME KEY to unlock the wall grid.
Read the Russian word for time (BPËMЯ).

COMPUTER ROOM
Use the Russian keyboard (lower switch in Light Bulb Room to the right).
Press the keys to write the Russian word for time and press Enter.
Level 1 rotation – access granted!

ELEVATOR
Press the Room Control (green light).
If you click on a symbol for a room to the right on the board (on the lower floor) it moves to an empty space next to it.
You need to melt the ice in the Ice Room on Level 2.
To do that, click on the symbol for Fire Room (top left symbol) to move it to be under the Ice Room (lower left corner).
Also move the symbol for the Light Bulb Room to be able to enter it.
Pick up a gear when facing the elevator in the Light Bulb Room.

ICE ROOM
The ice melted.
Turn around and pick up the copper statue.

FIRE ROOM
To get to this room again, you need to rotate with the Room Control in the elevator.
Melt the COPPER STATUE to get a copper key.

COMPUTER ROOM
Use the copper key in the top right drawer.
Get a GEAR.

ICE ROOM
Enter this room when the Fire Room is NOT straight under the Ice Room.
You can now walk around on the ice.
Move to the left – another door!
Enter it to get to the Gear Room.

GEAR ROOM
This room has six pedestals with patterns below.
Move down and turn around to face the elevator.
Pick up Epoxy hardener.
Note the Russian letters (BETPA).
Turn around again and move forward.
Place your two GEARS above and under the gear next to the hourglass.
A Piece of Tile #4 falls down.

LIGHT BULB ROOM
You need to enter it through the Fire Room.
Turn right by the Power Machine.
Place your four TILES on the board.
Move them to get a Russian word.

WALKTHROUGH, PART 3
COMPUTER ROOM
Press the keys for the Russian word and then Enter.
Get an English proverb.
Next thing to do is to figure out how to get Vertical control.
Find out the password and use the correct keyboard for it.
Vertical control – access granted!
Solution below.

ELEVATOR
Now the fun and confusing Room Switching Part starts.
If you click on a symbol in the floor with 4 symbols and it has an empty space below, it’ll move to that space (between floors).
The first thing to do is to examine the room on top floor you haven’t seen yet: Diamond Room.
Move one of the other rooms from Level 2 down to Level 1 and then move the Diamond Room to be by a door.

DIAMOND ROOM
Move forward – sand and a skeleton.
Fill your can with sand.
To the left you need a scale basket, and you see a pipe from the Ice Room.
Move to the right and zoom on the vibrating plate.
It shows six Chladni patterns.
Move the switch to the right to see them all.
Note the Hz-numbers that belong to each pattern.

GEAR ROOM
From now on you’ll have to figure out on your own how to get into the rooms via the elevator. When I tell you to place a room to the LEFT or RIGHT from another room, I look at the rooms from INSIDE the circles on the maps. So, if the rooms are on the lower side of the circle; to the “left of” means that you see it to the “right of” it if looking from outside the circle.

All of the pedestals have patterns, and they are similar to the Chladni patterns in the Diamond Room.
To make the machines work you need (from left to right):
Running water, Wind, Two gears, Sand, Sundial part, Power.
All you have is SAND in your can.
Use it in the HOURGLASS.
Click on the hourglass and press the right Hz-number for the pattern below.
You saw this clue in the Diamond Room, right?
All of the Hz-numbers will be listed below.

To get Running water, Wind and Power you only need to change the positions of the rooms in the elevator. But first, let’s:
Find a part for the sundial and two gears.

WIND ROOM
To make the six buttons to the left in this room work you need power from the left:
Go to the Light Bulb Room and make sure the lower switch of the Power Machine points left.
Place the Light Bulb Room to the left of the Wind Room.
Now, press the six buttons as shown by the numbers next to them.
Get glass Epoxy.
Combine EPOXY and EPOXY HARDENER in your inventory.
Where to use this?

ICE ROOM
Make sure the Fire Room is NOT under the Ice Room.
You need to walk on the ice.
Move forward and use the HARDENED EPOXY on the crack in the water tank.
Now you need to get water into the tank.
Place the Fire Room under the Ice room.
When the tank is fixed and the ice melted, press the red button to the right.
Get a scale basket.

DIAMOND ROOM.
You need water running through the pipe to the left in this room.
Place the Ice Room to the left of the Diamond Room and make sure the Fire Room is under the Ice Room.
Go to the left side in the Diamond Room and place your SCALE BASKET on the chain to the left.
The water makes mud in the sand.
Use your cup to pour mud into the scale basket four times.
Turn to the right side of the room.
Get the sundial part to the right.

Only two gears left…
FIRE ROOM
The fire on the floor, where you got smoke earlier, needs to be put out.
Place the Wind Room to the right of the Fire Room to make the wind blow the fire out.
Zoom where the fire used to be to collect a gear.

The last gear…
ICE ROOM
In the back left side of the Ice Room is a chain that you need to pull.
The ice has to be PARTLY melted.
Place the Ice Room to the left of the Gear Room (to be able to enter from here), and the Fire Room to the LEFT of the Ice Room.
Enter through the Gear Room and move left twice (passing the tank).
Pull the chain on the floor and get a gear.

WALKTHROUGH, PART 4
SOLVING THE GEAR ROOM
You solved the hourglass already (putting sand in it).

WATER CLOCK:
You need running water coming from the left.
Place the Ice Room to the left of the Gear Room, and make sure that the Fire Room is below the Ice Room. That will make the WATER CLOCK work.
There seems to be a small glitch here. If you see the water in the clock but only as ice coming out, and if you are sure you placed the rooms right try to enter the door next to the water clock and go back into the gear room again. That should make the water start running.

ANEMOMETER:
You need wind from the left.
Place the Wind Room to the left of the Gear Room.

SUNDIAL:
You need fire in the lamp, coming from the right.
Place the Fire Room to the right of the Gear Room.
Put your SUNDIAL PART on the Sundial to make it work.

DIGITAL CLOCK:
You need power coming from the right.
Go to the Light Bulb Room via the Fire Room and make sure that the lower switch on the Power Machine is pointing left.
Place the Light Bulb Room to the right of the Gear Room.
Now this clock should have power.

MAIN CLOCK:
Place the two gears to the right of the MAIN CLOCK (the one in the back middle part of the room).

If this was your last pedestal and you chose the right Hz-numbers, you should get a black light filter from this clock (it looks blue).

LIGHT BULB ROOM
Remove the red light filter and insert the black light filter in the Power Machine.
Make the lower switch point up.
Turn right and have a look at the TILES.
Solve the new puzzle.
This time there is a Chinese proverb.

COMPUTER ROOM
You have the Chinese letters, and some unused Russian letters (from inside the Gear Room, by the elevator).
You need to enter both of these words into the computer.
Russian keyboard:
Make the switch on the Power Machine in the Light Bulb Room point left.
Place the Computer Room is to the right of the Light Bulb Room.
Enter: BETPA
Chinese keyboard:
Make the switch on the Power Machine in the Light Bulb Room point right.
Place the Computer Room to the left of the Light Bulb Room.
Enter: 见风转舵

LAST PASSWORD
You should now have two proverbs on the Elevator Control in the Computer Room; one Russian and one Chinese.
What do they have in common?
Enter the right password (back out of the computer first, or use the “back”-key).
Level 3 – access granted!
Solution below.

ELEVATOR
Press up arrow to go to Level 3.
Take the Master Key Chain from the wall.
Combine it with your TIME KEY, GOLD KEY, PLATINUM KEY, FIRE KEY and COPPER KEY.
Use it on the door to escape.

CONGRATULATIONS!!

SOLUTIONS
Colored tubes in Fire Room

WT for the colored tubes
1. Empty the green tube (using valve below it)
2. Empty the yellow tube
You should now have the first three tubes (yellow, purple, and green) Empty.
3. Fill the purple tube to the red line (using the valve above it). The yellow and green tubes will be filled to the red line along with the purple.
4. Fill the black tube to the line - the blue tube fills to the line along with the black, while the yellow, purple, and green tubes stay at the line.
5. Pull black lever on left - the furnace is now on!

If you already started moving the valves it might not be as easy.
Alternate WT for the colored tubes
The valves change the color in the tube below it, and the ones to the sides of it.
Try to empty them all (or fill them all) and then move them to the red line.

Start to empty the most left pipe, then the one next to it and so on.
To empty them you first need to make sure that the two colors to the right of the pipe you want to empty are more filled (use the valves above/to the right of those tubes). Then don’t use the valve under the pipe you want to empty, but the one to the right of it.

For example:
1 Start to empty the yellow pipe (first you need to make sure the purple is more filled than the yellow).
2 Make sure that the green and blue tubes are more filled than the purple tube and then empty the purple tube (valve under green).
3 Make sure that the black and blue tubes are more filled than the green tube, then empty the green tube (valve under blue).
4 Then empty the blue and black tubes (valve under black).
When all tubes are empty, press the valves above to fill them to the red lines (for example 2nd and 5th valve, or 1st and 4th).

OR, you can switch left and right in what I just wrote above and instead start at the right side. That might be easier if you have your pipes so that you can’t empty the left one.

Play the Organ
Put the pipes in the order from the painting in the LIGHT BULB ROOM:
1,6,3,7,4,5,2
From CAGE you get that C=2, A=4, G=6, E=1.
Press the keys below those numbers (2,4,6,1).
You might need to have your sound on since you need to press the next number before the sound of the previous ends.
The CAGE statue pedestal opens, and you get a red picture.
These letters are now shown at the organ, and you can easily play “EGG” and get an orange picture.
Play “ACE” to get a yellow picture.
Try to spell “BAG”, using a random key as B and you’ll see that B=3. Get a green picture.
Try to spell “BED” the same way and see that D=7. Get a purple picture.
Now you know that F=5.
Play “FACE” to get a blue picture.
Play “BAGDE” to get a platinum statue.
Order of the keys from left to right: E, G, B, D, A, F, C.

Level 2 – access granted
The letters from the smoke, using the Russian keyboard:
BBEPX

Level 1 rotation – access granted
Enter the letters from the wall to the left in the Fire Room, using the TIME KEY:
BPËMЯ

Vertical control access
When you enter the Russian letters; УЦИСБ you get the English proverb:
You Live – you LEARN.
Go to the LIGHT BULB ROOM and change the lower switch to NOT point right.
You now have an English keyboard.
The new password to enter on an English keyboard is: LEARN.

Level 3 access
First, enter the Russian: BETPA using a Russian keyboard.

The two proverbs you see have WIND in common.
The password is the Chinese sign that means WIND: 风
Press only this key on the Chinese keyboard, then press Enter.

WOW! and I do mean WOW!!! @Ellie! That was magnificent! (In other words, even I could understand it, lol). The part that gave me the most grief was probably getting the water dripping in the Diamond Room. I went round and round trying to figure out what to do next and, all of a sudden, the water was dripping and I got a glass of wet sand! But I swear I had those rooms lined up that way at least once before finally getting it. So maybe the glitch you found with the Water Clock isn't the only one. Or maybe (more likely) I just didn't have things lined up right.
At any rate, you have done a truly masterful job with a difficult WT, so pat yourself on the back for me!

I have to stop because I don't understand the directions for placing rooms to the right and left of each other. I was in part 3 the wind room trying to press the red buttons and placing the light bulb room to the left of the wind room...I just don't get it. What does this mean

@Zoe, you have to imagine yourself standing inside the circle. So think of "left" as counterclockwise and "right" as clockwise. Then just forget the other part about looking from outside the circle ;-)

When I played it the first time I had a hard time keeping left and right the way they should be. I often thought I placed a room at the correct side, but it turned out to be wrong anyway. But then, it was in the middle of the night lol.

wow...THANKS zoz!! Somehow that makes more sense to me - not that Ellie's explanation is clear to most people - I think my brain is geared differently! clockwise and counterclockwise is more "visual" to me. I was able to go back and finish!! Thank you so much!

@Ellie - no need to be sorry. Your efforts and all the hints you always give and all the WT's you do are immensely helpful not just to me but to thousands (maybe millions) of others :-)

hi guys Im the last pass.. cant get it right as well :/ Cool, u dont fill the tank with the glass! U have 2 steam the room by placing fire room under.It will fill up. And mud will change to water or sand when u colect some.
