anyone else here?

i found a rod a key ( used) and a paper and a remote(used) some numbers . nothing makes sense

found a frame(?) on the table and a pack of cigarettes there was a paper with another code in the pack. still lost

Morning all!

ive used the rod too

late at night here, duscharoo, but good morning to u

i think the picture is supposed to come off the wall but no clue on how to click to remove it

have used rod and key, now I have red code and paper code

okay - also seen the code book, so guessing that we need 4 code pages and then rotate them according to the book - where did you find the remote?

remote in bed

remote is in the bed.. pull back covers

remote gets you color code, tried to combine with balls on shelf clues, but did not work on lower shelf box

used red code on red box, got #3 code

       Anonymous  7/17/10, 7:04 PM

Good Morning!
The picture comes off with the hint from the table. Start in the upper left corner, you see a dot in the upper left, then follow the arrows.

thanks, george

i have 3 paper clues, need #4

i cant get the picture down..lol

@sweeti, its the location of the dots in the corners of the squares on the table clue

here, but not sure if its the right game i'm loading

found 3 pieces of paper, but not able to figure out what they're for.

i tried to click the corners where the dots are located on the frame on the table and it didnt come off

@sweeti, its top l, top r, top r, top l, bottom l, bottom r, top r, bottom l

i get the rod, but i can't click to view under bed!
where i should click actually?

@clearices, click on middle of bed, then down under the left side

color code is driving me crazy, anyone figured it out?

was anyone able to open the blue box?

no, so cal

And we were doing so well there for a bit!

       Anonymous  7/17/10, 7:36 PM

Got the code!
The numbers on the color balloons are 3 4 1 2.
Now you either add or subtract 2 1 7 2.
3+2=5
4-1=3
1+7=8
2-2=0

oh, thanks
i open the blue box already
use the glue of tv and ball, think about the meaning of the line between color ball and no. on tv

I was hoping the balls had the order and the tv had the numbers, but no go.

good find, george

       Anonymous  7/17/10, 7:46 PM

...and now I don't remember which code belongs to which sign...

@george, red box was square, blue box was triangle

       Anonymous  7/17/10, 7:55 PM

No.1 was in the pink box with the circle.
What numbers where in the red and blue box, mayberry?

pink was circle, i think

       Anonymous  7/17/10, 8:00 PM

Started over and have
star=No.2=0°
triangle=No.4=90°
square=No.3=0°
circle=No.1=180°

gotta call it a night, good night all, hope you figure it out

       Anonymous  7/17/10, 8:09 PM

Same here, I'm too tired to make anything out of the codes... Good Night!

       Anonymous  7/17/10, 8:45 PM

I'm back...couldn't sleep leave this unsolved.
I made a mistake, it's actually
circle=1=0°
star=2=90°
square=3=0°
triangle=4=180°

This makes the code for the door.

4395

That doesn't make sense to me George, could you explain please?

@Edgar, you're not alone. No matter how I rotate and add and subtract lines, I don't come up with 4398, although it is clearly the code. I guess I'll have to check in tomorrow since it seems george has gone to bed.
G'night!

I meant 4395!

Good night @zoz, see you tomorrow!
Hope to see something from George as well.

I solved zoz, but I'm not quite sure of it or if George did it the same way. I'm going to wait for his explanation but I'm e-mailing you my solution right now.

i cant find the rod, am i blind? :)

oh it was under the window

If there is someone play I need help.
i don't understand the picture code, I looked again and again in the clue on the table and don't get it.
and in the door code I totally lost.
someone can explain this tow codes to me, please?!

       Anonymous  7/18/10, 6:13 AM

lisa: see the post at 18/7/10 - 04:21

Zoe, i sow this comment and do it but still don't understend why. wene i look in the clou on table it's not match to the solution.

¯
_ | |_ | (1/circle - 0º)

_| _| |¯ _| (2/star - 90º) --> |_ |_ ¯| |_

_ |_ |_| |_ (3/square - 0º)

¯||_ |_ _| (4/triangle - 180º) --> |_ ¯| ¯| |¯

If I´m right, I can´t see how to get 4395!

@lisa! after each arrow in paper, there´s a square with a dot in one of its corner. Click picture frame following the dot position.

Good morning world!!!

@lisa, you mean the clue with the dots in the squares to take the picture off?

And George hasn't shown up?

You are right @roberto. This is what I came up as well last night. I'll post a screenshot with the explanation in the WT I'm about to start. It's actually a snapshot of the word document i e-mailed last night to zoz, but wanted to wit for George to explain it first.

as for 2/star - 90º
rotate it counterclockwise.

OK! So, it´s:

¯
_ | |_ | (1/circle - 0º)

_| _| |¯ _| (2/star - 90º) --> ¯| ¯| |_ ¯|

_ |_ |_| |_ (3/square - 0º)

¯||_ |_ _| (4/triangle - 180º) --> |_ ¯| ¯| |¯

Thanks Xenon but still don´t get it.
adding star+square+triangle-circle can´t get 4

Maybe @Edgar will post the full explanation.
I give only an example for the first number.
Look at the vertical bar of the first shape of star(¯|), it is a little longer.

square + triangle + star =
..+|_+¯|
_..........|

= digital 9

Room 001 - Walkthrough

• Nothing to do in the starting view, so move left.
• Zoom in the window and take the rod from the lower sill; zoom back.
• Move left.
• Zoom in on each of the 4 colored balls on the top shelf and see a number on them: Green = 3; Yellow = 4; Blue = 1 and Red = 2.
• Zoom in the bed and click on the covers to move them aside and get the remote; click on the red sheet to put the covers back in place.
• Now zoom in under the bed and use the ROD to retrieve the pink key; zoom back twice.
• Zoom in the pink box on the bottom shelf and use the key on the lock to open it (important: note the lock has a circle on it) and get Note No. 1 from inside; zoom back.
• Turn left.
• Zoom in the TV and use the REMOTE to see some colored balls with numbers under them… and a strange crossed line in-between; zoom back.
• Zoom in the table (lower part of the game screen) and click on the note to see the “CORNERS CLUE”; zoom back.
• Take the package of cigarettes from the table, open it in about item and get the red code from inside; zoom back.
• Go left two times.
• Zoom in the painting right from the window and use the “corners clue” from the table to click on the picture corners to take it off and obtain the Note No. 2 (important: as you can see, this note is related to the shape of a star); zoom back.
• Go once to the right.
• Zoom in the small (left) shelves and again on the red box in the bottom; click on the lock and enter the red code you’ve got from the cigarettes (important: note this lock has a square on it), click “enter” and take the Note No. 3; zoom back.
 Solution at the end of the Walkthrough
• Zoom in the large (right) shelves and again in the bottom boxes; open the one in the left side (the only “openable” box btw, lol) and click on the lock. You get (or got already) the code for this lock from combining the numbers on the colored balls and the clue from the TV, and if done right get the Note No. 4 (important: this note relates to the triangle shape you could see on the code pad); zoom back twice.
 Solution at the end of the Walkthrough
• From this view (still zoomed in the shelves) go up and click on the rightmost black book and open it to see the CLUE FOR THE FINAL CODE (for the exit door lock); click on the left arrow to “unzoom”.
• Zoom in the exit door and again in the lock and enter the 4-digits code you come up with after combining the final clue from the black book and the lines in your 4 notes; click OK and you are out… CONGRATS!
 Solution at the end of the Walkthrough

Room 001 - Solutions
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Solution for the picture corners
All along the edges of the paper on the table you can see little dots/circles in different corners of the squares they are into, as well as some triangles and one square.
Starting from the square, and following the direction of the pointing triangles, use the position of the circles as “corners” where to click on the painting in order to remove it.
This is: the first dot in this path is the one on the top left square, and it’s on the top left corner of the square, so the first click on the painting is on the top left corner of the frame; the second dot in the path (going clockwise as the triangles suggest) is in the top right corner of the square this dot is in, so the second click on the painting is on the top right corner of the frame; and so on…
Translated to arrows, the order for clicking on the frame corners is then:
 ↖ ↗ ↗ ↖ ↙ ↘ ↗ ↙
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Solution for the blue box code

From the balls on the shelf we know that:
G=3 Y=4 B=1 R=2

This is the clue from the TV, in the same color order:
G Y B R
╋━╋━
2 1 7 2

If it doesn’t make any sense yet, maybe you need to separate them a bit more:
G  Y  B  R
╋ ━ ╋ ━
2   1   7   2

And this leads us to the following arithmetical resolution:
G=3+2=5; Y=4-1=3; B=1+7=8; R=2-2=0
The code for the blue box is then 5380
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Solution to the final code
The clue in the black book says some notes (the separate lines in them actually, not the notes themselves) must be rotated in a certain amount of degrees, as follow:
■ 0º (note 3)
☆ 90º (note 2)
◯ 0º (note 1)
△ 180º (note 4)

And the final code comes from “adding” notes 2, 4 & 3, and “subtracting” note 1 ⇒ [☆+△+■-◯] after the turnings. Note: It’s important to warn, at least for the star (note 2), that the turnings should be done to the left.

The easier way I can find to explain this code is to post a screenshot of the Word document I typed and e-mailed last night:
Click here to see an explanation for the final code

Edgar that's brilliant! Thank you so much for another great WT and for sticking with this problem until you solved it.
Thinking Happy Thoughts about tomorrow! :oD

I agree the Xenon and Edgar explanation!
Great wt Edgar.
But I think the clues should specifies to what part of number the shape belongs. Up or down.
That was my doubt.

       Anonymous  7/18/10, 10:12 AM

Hey guys...sorry I'm late. Had to catch up sleep from last night.

Great Edgar!

This would be my solution...almost the same as yours :)

http://i658.photobucket.com/albums/uu306/George24_photo/escape001.jpg

Just that it's in .calc and took me a while to make :(

@roberto, I agree with you about the notes lacking of that. They could have been a bit clearer in that aspect, so I guess note 4, just for having turned it 180º, makes its lines go up.
As for the note 2 I can say that (other than the first shape that because of its looonger horizontal line it doesn't represent much problem than the rest) every shape turned 90º to the left will have a little longer horizontal line, and that line is the one in the middle horizontal line in the grids that finally make the numbers.
But you're right, one thing is to have a way to explain it and a very different one is to think it's a "good" and clear code.

@zoz, I am ;-)

Edgar, thousand thanks and one more for the WT.
finally I understand the picture code.
and now I know that the door code was stay a mysterious for me without your WT because I didn't see the black book!!!
so, thanks a lot.

My screen stays white. Can somebody help me please?

       Anonymous  7/18/10, 11:33 PM

They revised the game and changed the notes...now it's easy to get the door code.

Yes @George, I just saw they did, and now it's an easy game, although still challenging. Glad they did that. :)

@Henk, hmm... refresh?

out with help even with the "easy" version.

Thanks for the fabulous walkthrough and picturethroughs, boys :)
