    ReplyDelete
  15. Daphne, one is on the table leg in the first view. I am not quite sure where I got the other, could have been under the piano.

    ReplyDelete
  19. going to try and catch up.

    ReplyDelete
  20. yay! use the ice cream and the drum clue together for the yellow thingy's in the drawer.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I will tell you in exchange for the yellow knobs clue. I don't get it.
The red place on the guitar, after placing the glue and dust form a place where you can light the match, just like the side of a matchbox.

    ReplyDelete
  26. maybe the code from teh black and white vase, somehow goes with teh black and white clock.
oh and sorry if i post a lot, my comp. reloads faster if i say something instead of re-freshing.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Actually I will restart it.....

    ReplyDelete
  29. I can't seem to use the drumsticks. Help any1?

    ReplyDelete
  30. @ cool, the icecream is up right up down, but you have to make a half turn on the up one a quarter turn on the right one and a quarter turn on the next up one. does that make sense? it ends up left, down, right down, uhh i think.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I started again to check where the drumsticks are. One is on the middle table leg in the first scene. The other in on the plate in the table, just in front of the corn.

    ReplyDelete
  32. oops @ cool no left right down down

    ReplyDelete
  33. i can't light my match. what am i doing wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  34. mgkanda, you have to combine the two sticks first

    ReplyDelete
  35. Thanks Cool. I'm trying but, can't seem to get them to stay together. working on it.

    ReplyDelete
  36. oh, had to restart my match works wonders now!

    ReplyDelete
  37. When you put the glue combi on the guitar, did you get a redish area there?
Just pull the match over it and it will light.

    ReplyDelete
  38. How to light the match please

    ReplyDelete
  39. what is the phrase, i don't know morse code?

    ReplyDelete
  40. @daphne, use the red spot on the guitar that you made with the glue and red dust. i had to restart to get mine to work though.

    ReplyDelete
  41. despite all your explanations I still don't get the icecream code

    ReplyDelete
  42. have a nice day

    ReplyDelete
  43. Oh no. I'm going to have dinner now! I'll leave you all to it. Good luck and enjoy your candles @ Cool.

    ReplyDelete
  44. yeah...I got it and I'm out!

    ReplyDelete
  45. thanks@ george just figured it out, and then I came back here, stupid morse code!.
the ice cream start at right up right down. use the drum code of half quarter quarter on teh icecream.
turn the first one a half turn the one on the far right a quarter turn, and the one on the bottom a quarter turn ,.
this gives you left, right, down, down

    ReplyDelete
  46. Had to restart twice to get my drumsticks together. irritating and kind of unusual for an EGL game.

    ReplyDelete
  47. why can't I get my match to light on the guitar?

    ReplyDelete
  48. For the morse code: google morse code translator and add the dots and stripes in groups.
The 4 in the first group, the one in the second and so on.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I dont know'Sassenach, I had no problems whatsoever with this game. Playing in FF, maybe that gives less glitches?

    ReplyDelete
  50. have you put the dust and glue combi on it first?

    ReplyDelete
  51. @Sassenach Some people had to restart to get their match to light and I had to to get my drumsticks to work...twice! Now I'm doing it one more time for my match. Annoying. :(

    ReplyDelete
  52. I was playing in chrome but, it won't even load now.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Hm, I started the game twice more and both times the drum sticks would not stay together. Guess I just got lucky the first time I started it.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I'm wondering. Is it just me or are we getting more and more buggy games lately?

    ReplyDelete
  55. I still can't understand the morse code.

    ReplyDelete
  56. smp the morse code means: haveaniceday

    ReplyDelete
  57. Morse code was:
    .... .- ...- . = have
    .- = a
    -. .. -.-. . = nice
    -.. .- -.-- = day

you have to read them from top down in 4 groups

    ReplyDelete
  58. Finally a session where both my drumsticks and my match worked! what can I say? I was determined lol.

    ReplyDelete
  59. mgkanda, wise man say: he who is persistent will escape. :D

    ReplyDelete
  60. @Cool lol feel much better. Couldn't leave another game unfinished. It just didn't feel right. XD

    ReplyDelete
  61. One drumstick in the table leg, first scene...where is the other one please?????

    ReplyDelete
  62. Nokra, it's on the dining table. On the plate right in front of the corn.

    ReplyDelete
  63. POP ...found it in comments, and in my inventory...(game bigger than my screen)LOL...btw, I think that is a banana?

    ReplyDelete
  64. Nokra, coming from someone (me) that keeps calling "green things/balls" candles, that should not be a surprise :D

    ReplyDelete
  65. TY @cool...and of course, I can't get them to stay together...forget it!!!
    Bring on Sakura!!!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Well, the artwork leaves much to be desired....LOL

    ReplyDelete
  67. And....@cool , I thought they were candles too!!!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Thanks @Area Rugs by McCall's! I turned the ice creams and the drum clues all possible ways except for the simple right way. Got out with your help!

    Lol @cool and @nokra!

    ReplyDelete
  69. Drum sticks? I can only find one.

  70. Walkthrough

    • Take a drumstick (you’ll see it as a yellow bar when zoomed) from the front table leg.
    • Take the hammer from under the right side of the couch.
    • Take the glue from behind the left cushion.
    • Go left.

    • Take the chisel in the cactus pot.
    • Go left.

    • Zoom in the table and take the second drumstick under the corn; notice also the position of the spoons in the ice cream glasses.
    • Take a brush from the basket in the corner.
    • Go left.

    • In inventory, combine both drumsticks and use them on the drums; see a clue on the wall.
    • Zoom in under the piano and use the brush to remove some sort of red dust from the floor; combine the glue with this “dust.”
    • Use this glue/dust combo in the middle of the electric guitar (the X marks the spot).
    • Go left.

    • Zoom in to the left of the fireplace; combine hammer+chisel and use the combo on the white line to get the match.
    • Zoom in now on the cabinet on the left and again on the lower right drawer; click on the yellow shapes to move them around to their correct position using the clues you’ve seen (from ice cream and drums) to get the credit card.
Solution at the end of the Walkthrough
    • Go back to the right.

    • Zoom in the guitar and use the “glued dust” to light your match.
    • Go left.

    • Use the lit match on the middle candle to read a message in morse code; solve it.
    • Go left.

    • Zoom in the black and white vase to see some numbers (4735).
    • Go left.

    • Zoom in on the left cabinet and enter the password… the translation for the morse code message.
Spoiler at the end of the Walkthrough
    • Drawer opened, use now the credit card on the box inside and enter the numbers you saw in the vase by the door. The box will say OK; take the credit card back.
    • Go right.

    • Zoom in on the exit door and use the credit card on the slot to go out… and feel sorry for the unfortunate owner of the credit card that paid for your escape :P
    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
    Solution to the code:
The spoons in the ice cream glasses point to these directions (from top and going clockwise): [→ ↑ → ↓]
The clue from the drums (upper “half”, lower “quarter” and right “quarter in a circle) suggest to rotate the above directions (to the right, even when there’s no indication of this) the spoons located in those places.
This way, the new positions for the “spoons” (and the ones to use on the shapes to open the drawer) are: [← → ↓ ↓]
    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Spoiler for the morse code message:
    have a nice day
Enter it as that, lower cased and with spaces.

  71. Great WT, as usual...@edgar...I decided to try it again but the drumsticks still won't cooperate... I get them together but only one picks up. Too buggy to bother re-starting...again!
    See ya'll tomorrow!

    ReplyDelete
  72. @nokra, that's too bad... well, not much of a great game here anyway. In case you decide to come back later on (or if someone else has the same problem) try to combine the right one on the left one.

Goodnight and hope to see you tomorrow too!

    ReplyDelete
  73. out thanks to Morse-code hint.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I feel i shall never see a "Live Game" :/

    ReplyDelete
  75. Thanks to @Edgar for another great walkthrough! I thought I'd add a little just to help get around some of the glitches.

    BUG-THROUGH:

    1) Refer to above walkthrough until you have both drumsticks.

    2) Pull the one on the right in inventory to the one on the left. See that they won't stick together.

    3) Restart the game.

    4) Repeat steps 1,2, and 3 as necessary until they stick and refer to the WT above to continue until you get the match.

    5) The match won't light. Repeat step 3.

    6) After repeating step 3 several times, realize that you have restarted for the sole purpose of lighting the match now and forgot steps 1 & 2 and your drumsticks don't work.

    7) Bang your head against your desk, table, or the nearest wall three times.

    8) Repeat step 4.

    9) Repeat step 5.

    10) Repeat steps 6 and 7.

    11) Repeat step 7.

    12) Repeat step 7

    13) Repeat 7

    14) 7

    15) 7

    16) Click the little red X in the corner of the screen, have some Advil with a beer chaser as now you have a screaming headache and...OUT!

Great job, escapers! You did it! XD

  76. ROFL @mgkanda! I'm glad I didn't play it your way :D
My sticks were a little bit hard to combine, but after a few tries it worked (need to put the right in the middle of the left one) and my match lit immediately. Anyway, a great complement to the WT from Edgar, to help the ones really stuck ;) Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  77. Mgkanda! your WT was the only one that worked for me.. super bad buggy game..

    ReplyDelete
  78. I found a way to combine the drumsticks:

If they don't combine, restart the game. Pick up the drumstick off the table first. Drag it to the left (where the other drumstick will go), and it will disappear. Pick up the drumstick by the table leg, and when it appears in the item box, it will already be combined with the first drumstick. I hope this helps!

    ReplyDelete
  79. Despite nothing in this game making any sense (I mean, really - lighting the match on the guitar?), I got throuogh except for the spoon clue. Thanks for the explanation.
