I'm pretty terrible at these but, here goes.
i'll join you, mgkanda!
WOW, this one looks pretty hard to do!
#3 is easy, don't know what to do with 1 and 2
Only solved 3rd puzzle too @Truus...
Yes #3 done. I think 1 and 2 will take me a while.
solved #1 too, but what to do with 2??
Going to come back to this one. Lunch time for the kiddos. Escape with you all soon! Have a good day! :D
solved #1 too.
Don't know what to do with #2
Enjoy your lunchtime @mgkanda!
1 - make proper equations. I had my bottom equation equal to 8, and another equation equal to 60. I don't remember from there.
Do you have to click on them, or just click the first and the last, or just go over the numbers?
I have a solution (don't know if there are more) for number 1 written down. I can post it if anyone wants it.
i don't get 2. >_< i have other things to do, i'll check back later to see if anyone figures it out.
Frustrating! There should be something better to do than understanding puzzle 2... like eating!
lol @Edgar, I'm already making dinner!
You want some?
But I'm also relying on you to help us here!
No pressure.... :)
Finally solved puzzle 2.
You have to click a number so it's red. Then don't click any other number but go over the other numbers you need, to make them big.
Make one loop over all the numbers you need (1-18 without a number double) and finish on the first number again and click it.
First puzzle
5 x 9 + 5 = 50
2 x 8 + 2 = 18
8 x 9 - 6 = 66
9 + 2 - 1 = 10
Second puzzle
Click on 12 (top right corner)
Then go with your mouse (without clicking) over the next numbers;
From 12 to the left over 18-7-3 and then down over;
13-14-17-16 and then left over;
15 and then down over;
1 and then right over;
10-6 and then up over;
2-9-8-5 and then right over;
4-11 and then click 12 again.
Third puzzle
X4X--X1X--X5X
8X8--8X2--2X7
X3X--X3X--X3X
--------------------
X3X--X3X--X3X
5X3--3X2--2X3
X1X--X8X--X7X
--------------------
X1X--X8X--X7X
2X2--2X6--6X4
X7X--X5X--X1X
bad fishing today toolie? noone bit eh? well ty for the late solutions
Congrats @small-tool for solving #2!!!
I'll take a closer look later, have to go now
Thanks @small-tool! I still think I prefer dinner over this though.
I played it again today and although small-tools solution works, I still don't understand #2...
"so that the loop contains one of each number"
How does it contain one of each number???
lol@Ellie, me too!!!
Truus,
There are two times the numbers from 1 to 18. You 'have' to use all the numbers from 1 to 18, but 'only once'.
And it has to make a loop, which means you have to end at the same place where you begin and in that loop you can't go back a step.
Bit hard to explain, but you have games like that where you go over tiles to make them disappear and where you have to make all tiles disappear by walking around in the right loop so that no tile remains somewhere inaccessible.
Thanks @small-tool, you explained very well!!
I thought we had to go from number to number, but every new number should contain one of the numbers you're on. Like 12 would make us go to a new number with either a 1 or a 2 in it. And so on, till we made a loop.
I understand it now, thanks again for the solution and for your explanation!
