    ReplyDelete
  40. I am convinced it's either a bug or we're just missing something painfully obvious. I have just sat here & attempted each & every color combination possible....twice. No luck.

  62. "Every game deserves a walkthrough" -- and besides, I always get stuck on something that everyone else finds too obvious to mention. Sorry, this is not nearly as elegant as some of the recent SAKURA walkthroughs.

    Door View
Check the metal plate on the door -- you need a 4-digit number to exit, no special hints.
Observe the framed picture -- you can drag it to the left to reveal a metal plate attached with screws.
Note the notepad on the floor. Need an eraser to reveal the clue there.
    Go left to ..

    TV View
There's a puzzle box (you need a picture to solve).
The panels below the TV slide open to reveal teacup #1 -- click to collect it
Note the BLUE BALL on top of the cabinet (out of reach).
Click to the left of the TV cabinet to find the BLUE KEY.
Optional: You can click on the mouse (in an earlier Sakura puzzle, he ran up the cabinet to knock down the blue ball), but once he sees the cat he will run back down again.
    Go left to ...

    Locker View
The panels on the cabinet can be shifted to form an arrow pointing down to the right. Pick up teacup #2.
Click on rocket (!) on top of lockers.
Open the blue locker with the blue key to get teacup #3 and wire cutters (nippers)
Click on baseboard behind cabinets to see that nothing is hidden there.

    Go left to ...

    Couch View
You see a couch (chaise lounge), an end table with a clock, and a wall safe.
The couch is hiding 3 things:
-- Click to the left of the large pillow to find a white BATTERY. Click to pick it up.
-- On the mattress by the arm rest is a smaller pillow you can move aside to reveal the RED KEY.
-- Click on the bottom of the couch to find a MAGNETIC STRIPE CARD.

Click on the clock and insert the magnetic card to get the clue for the puzzle box.
Back out and use the wire cutters to the the eraser.

Click on the wall safe. You see "escap" and click on the gray rectangle to learn "This is a cover" hmmm. (See solution below) Hit the (now) red button to get the GREEN BALL.

  63. WALKTHROUGH PART 2
Go back to the TV View
Select the rocket, then click on the mouse to get the BLUE BALL.
Drag the 9 pieces out of the puzzle box, the replace them to form the picture from the clock to get the YELLOW KEY.

Go left to the Locker View.
Use the red key on the red lock to get teacup #4 and the screwdriver (SD).
Use the yellow key to get teacup #5 and the mallet.
Select the mallet, and hit a hole in the wall where the arrow pointed.

Go back to the Door view and select the picture.
Slide the picture to the left, select the screwdriver and remove the metal panel to get the RED BALL.
Back out and select the notebook. Use the eraser to reveal the operator for the final number. You will want to copy this to a clipboard or to paper where you can refer to it shortly.

Go back to the TV View.
Insert the balls in the bottom of the TV (for order, see SOLUTIONS).
For each ball, there is a 5x5 square with some squares colored.
Apply the clue from the notebook to find the 4 digit exit code.

Go back to the Door view and click on the door panel.
Enter the correct number, and "You hear the sound that something opens."
Check that you have all 5 teacups, then click the door handle for a PERFECT END.

    SOLUTIONS
    Wall Safe.
Hint: Anagram "escap" (Thanks, Cyberjar88!)There are several words, but only one that you can use.
Answer: Hit the "space" bar to open the cover and insert the battery.
    Ball Order.

    Ball Order:
From the picture, left to right: yellow, red, blue, green

    Number Clue:
TURN THE NOTEBOOK CLUE UPSIDE DOWN! (Thanks, Pierre!)
Add in the corresponding colored squares from the notebook to each number (ie, add the yellow squares to the yellow number, red to red, etc.
    Final answer: SPOIL4968ER

  64. and out! No bugs and code was super easy this time. I think I spent about 20 minutes trying to open wall box AFTER I placed the battery. Had to cruise the comments for the "click the now red light to get the green ball" hint. LOL! woops. :)

    ReplyDelete
  65. Good walkthrough, thanks, Carol! Needed it for the anagram 'space'...
