Sweet little game!
Little ant is back in time!
I am stuck in the scene where ant climbs on the back of the bug !!
I'm stuck at the same place, Zazie !
@Zazie and @Pascale, hold down your mouse button to hold on to the bug.
CUTE live game!! Thanks Ellie, I was stuck too!
OK kind of ridiculous but you have to keep clicking up the spider's right leg to climb.
Stuck on grasshopper
@Stryboh, do you mean the big one, where you can jump between leaves? You need to find the correct path to be able to move on. I think it was lower left, upper left, then right side of the middle straw, and last lower right and upper right. Try to click on different places and see where you get.
Thank you, Ellie !
It was a very cute game.
Silly little game, passed the time though :)
I'm wondering why the new games are mixed in with old ones...not liking the disorganization here
cute little game
I liked that you could tell what the insects were supposed to be.
Yep cute game.
By the way, I've never heard of a 'harvestman' I thought it was a 'daddy longlegs'.
@small-tool In my area, we call them granddaddy longlegs.
According to wikipedia, "harvestmen are known by the name 'daddy longlegs' or 'granddaddy longlegs', but this name is also used for two other unrelated arthropods."
Thanks for the info.
'Grand'daddy even, well.
In my area, we call them 'hooiwagen' (literally: haywagon).
That was too cute. too bad there are only 5 stars available. Adorable!
@small-tool why haywagons? It seems to tie in with the harvestmen, but I don't get it.
kitkatfox,
There are two theories about that;
- They look like the carts/wagons (very high wheels) they used in the old days to carry hay.
Or
- They (the harvestmen) are fully grown (so you see them better) in the period the hay is harvest.
Do you harvest hay? (haytime in Dutch).
@small-tool thanks! I love learning about other cultures and meanings behind words. :)
"Do you harvest hay?" -- Do you mean "you" as in those in the US or me personally? We do say harvesting hay (or the hay is harvested), but I don't personally harvest anything. I can't even grown tomatoes with much success
Lol, no I meant in general. I thought harvesting was used for things you eat like corn or oat. And for hay it maybe was just take it or collect it.
very cute! Thanks for the tips.
