4 stop watches, 2 dollar bills and what looks like matches.
dollar bill, matches, clock and two math equations. trying to figure out that code...
only found two clocks, but three bills
So far i have 4 clocks, 2 dollar bills and a box of matches. I'm a bit stuck on the friends and enemies code though, apparently it's not as straight forward as it looks.
have 3 bills and 4 clocks now...5 dollar bill in closeup view of box I think
I found out the values of friends and enemy, but don't know where to put them...

@ Miller - zoom into the box and put them there. How did you get the values?

i broke the pipe...
you can break the pipes over the table with bat and now water is pouring out. dont know why, also missing two clocks

Finally opened the door but... its blocked by concrete with 4 arrows...
@kitkatfox: which order did you use for the clocks? or just by try & error?
One watch is left of fireplace (not zoomed) in the right corner of tube on ceiling.
Out too. Look at the position of the arrows on the clocks for where they are supposed to go on the door.
2 are high, 2 are low, and for each, one is to the left, on to the right.

@Lisa: what does the other equation says (look at fireplace)?
For the maths:
((friends + enemies) - (friends - enemies))/2
Then take the figure that gives is the value for enemies, then use one of the equations to work out friends.

Too much of trial and error for this one, except for the arrows in the clocks.

2nd on the buttom of ground in fireplace room
3rd on the corner of pipe in right ceiling
4th in vase on zoomed fireplace

As for the diamonds, the 2x2 hint of them was the rightmost ones in my game. Can't remember where the other two had to be used (1st or 2nd column) just in case it can be useful.

The arrows on the clocks are placed on top or bottom, left or right "corners", so no really trial and error on those.
for diamonds, first was green/purple

Zoom on the desk drawer for a hint about friends and enemies
Get the first clock from the tractor wheel
Get the first dollar from the VERY bottom of the screen (left of the table)
Click it in your inventory and move your mouse to the game screen to see a closer view of it
Go right
Note the diamonds over the fireplace
Get the second dollar from the left side of the mantle
Get the second watch from the floor (in line with the right edge of the mantle at the VERY bottom of the screen)
Get the third watch from the bend in the pipe
Get the matches sticking out from the right side of the fireplace hearth
Zoom in on the fireplace
See the second math code
Still zoomed in, get the fourth watch from the pot on the left
Zoom in on the box and note it needs 2 numbers -- for friends and enemies
While zoomed in, get the third dollar from the floor
Do the math and enter the code

Use the key in the door
Use the blowtorch on the padlock
Use the watches’ arrows to unlock the hidden door behind the fireplace

So for mine Enemies=(517-317)/2=100
Then use the enemies number in either of the clues to solve for friends.

Yes they are. Look at the position of the arrows on the clocks. they are in top/right, top/left, bottom/right, bottom/left. use the same position on the clocks as on the door and point the arrows that direction

There are 4 arrows on the clocks. If you look at them, one is in the upper left (about 11 positon), one in the upper right (about 1 position), one in the lower right (about 5 position) and one in the lower left (about 8 position).
Set the upper left circle on the door the same as the upper left clock arrow. Set the upper right circle on the door the same as the upper right clock arrow.
Set all 4 and go to the fireplace. Nothing seems to happen in the door scene, but the fireplace should have moved.
Two of my clocks show the same hour, how do we use these clocks ?
Well, I'm out. The time shown by the clocks doesn't matter, we must only use the position and direction of the arrows.
Pascale, kitkatfox just explainded perfectly. But I think you can also do the clocks like this
1, 2, 3, 4 in your inventory is
1 - 2
3 - 4 on the door.

Nothing wrong with the walkthrough, it's perfect.
As I tried to say before (but maybe not as clear as I should due to the work rush), the only way to solve the arrows on the clocks logically -without bruteforcing or trial and error- is to look at the positions of the arrows ON the clocks, as kkf explains in the WT.
Sorry @s-t, but since the clocks go to inventory in the order they are collected, then your 1-4 method cannot always be the appropriate one.
Ah thanks, didn't notice the clocks go in the inventory in the order you find them. So by coincedence I had them in that order.
By the way, if the same goes for the dollars (for me, probably lucky again, it was the order in the inventory) then what's the hint for their order?
As far as I can tell (and as previously posted) there's no hint neither for dollars nor for diamonds, but I could notice the arrows positions since start. I also did the math the "hard way" but fortunately @Pierre's method is infallible.
The hint for the diamonds is (like kitkatfox wrote);
In the drawer the diamonds are on the left.
On the chimney in the middle.
In the E-F box on the right.
And now I'm eager to find the hint for the dollars too, gonna play again.
Yep, the dollars had a hint too.
Same way as the diamonds.
The dollar in front of the table is the most left one. So that number is left.
In the fireplace scene the dollar in front of the E-F box is more to the right then the one in front of the table and the one on the mantle is even more to the right.
So the order is table-box-mantle.

Enemies = (F+E)+(F-E)/2
And with your numbers:
Enemies = (302+136)/2 = 219
By difference you figure out that Friends = 83
