green disc goes on dial for pipe and gives 4 numbers, can't get it to open painting code yet

Rifle code is from down to up, enter signs in the box from left to right but take care, there are two signs which are rather similar (one like a smiling "mouth" and the same with a sad "mouth")
hmm...don't know why this is so hard for me, but I don't see any numbers in those shapes. Am I looking for roman numerals? Is the second one 5?
Hi @mkganda...it is very hard to see but if you click the first one 2x's second, 4x's third one 6x's and last one 8x's it should do it...It resets if you click out!
I have found the code for the safe, but I don't find the code for the painting.
I have only 2 cubes (and a knife).

OMG...I was trying to make numbers out of them b/c I hadn't seen that box! Was looking at the box in room with rifle. Maybe I should go back to bed lol.

nokra - there are 2 hotspots in that area. The chair is just in front of the table with the box for the numbers

Out pretty quickly after that! Can't believe I didn't see that box. I thought I was crazy that I couldn't figure out how those symbols looked like numbers for the safe.
@nokra Yes, but apparently the incorrect way lol. The codes worked differently for some people. Now though, I think they fixed it. If you don't enter the code before you time out it won't work I guess, so you have to restart. I would prefer they just kill me off instead. :P

@nokra Definitely the best part! Too bad Henk cooked Kathy K up before we got to the second page of comments, but we made it out alright with some help from MaryD's bottle of booze and my tamborine playing. alkmar selfishly took his guitar when he left.

out with no help. Here's a walkthrough just in case
Zoom on the object on the bottom shelf under the TV
Get the E block from behind (left end of) the fire truck toy
Click the tall plant in the back right corner (behind TV)
Get the knife from the trashcan
Zoom on the city scene on the back wall
Use the knife to see a place to enter a code and a button (you can’t do anything here, yet)
There is a dark wall to your left and then a lit area just behind it (a partially hidden room to the left)
Click there to see a rifle view (if you click too far back, you just see the pipes)
Zoom on the rifle and see shapes
Note the safe in this room needs a code
Back out of that view
Click between the 2 chairs (if you click too far you will see a place for the blocks)
You should be facing a dark box
Enter the code from the rifle
Solution below
Click the box lid and get the key
Click the lamp to the left of the couch on the back wall
You should be facing a box where you can enter the blocks as you find them
Use the key on the lock on the bottom -- get the green circle
Zoom on the pipes in the back left of the room
Zoom on the left gauge
Use the green circle on it to see numbers
Go to the rifle room again
Zoom on the safe and enter the code
Click the light colored handled and get the N block

Use the left yellow arrow to turn left
Click up the stairs 2 times to go upstairs
Zoom on the CD player in the middle of the bookcase
Get the U block
Go back 3 times and turn right
Click the lamp and enter the blocks
Get the DVD

Turn left and go all the way upstairs
Zoom on the CD player and put the DVD in
Learn the radio station (no, I don’t know why you put a DVD in a CD player to see a radio station)
Go all the way downstairs and turn right
Zoom on the cut city scene picture
Enter the numbers and click the button to the right

Turn left toward the stairs, but instead of going up, turn left again

Use the key and escape!
