Hi Meryl! Same here. The kitten on the shelf has coloured 'tails', but that didn't work for me.
And the yellow drawer wants the fish and 2 other things that look like a snake and Humpty Dumpty
Neither did the pink chest on bottom.
Turning the light on and off seems to do absolutely nothing to help. lol

the colours change when you look at the clue after you close the curtains and switch off the light. The black cat also disappears. Wish I knew some Japanese right now ;)

I have bad news, I just went through every single 3 digit number there is for the number drawer, and not one worked. Unless thats not first...

the curtain rings are at different heights and line up with the colors on the wall...
When you close the curtains and turn off the light there are arrows pointing to the colors on the wall above it

The characters on the window shade (after you close it and turn off the light) are just the Japanese hiragana "alphabet." It reads from upper right down each column. I don't know if that helps.
When the curtain is closed, the curtain rings line up with the colors on the wallpaper border above them. Some of the curtain rings are higher than the others, click on tigers "feathers" in the order of the higher curtain rings, left to right. Sorry if I'm not explaining it well!

Its just the Japanese alphabet. One of the many. I found the pronunciation of red, blue, and light green based on the wallpaper in Japanese. And matched it up to the alphabet. Based on that the order should be red, blue, green. But its not working.

Have you noticed that the bottom drawer has the 3 symbols (fish, humpty head, and snake) with plus signs between them? Think that might be our clue for the purple drawer??

I found another board like this one in Spanish playing the same game. Their just as stuck as we are. lol
@judy, thought about the letters for the words of each symbol, but that did not work either... am wondering if I am a glutton for punishment, just stubborn, or what?!?

The fish has one yellow eye, the humpty head has 2 red cheeks... hmmm, am I grasping at straws??
@judy, used "boy" and "baby" but I like your idea better LOL! yeah, saw that with the eyes too ... thought of using 1, 2, and 1 (for the snake); then when that didn't work I began using 122, 123, 124, etc. none worked
possibly@judy! But we're at such a disadvantage with this language barrier, that grasping at straws might be the answer! LOL!
am also thinking we will not have the #'s until we get the snake

Ive been trying color code and number code. Nothing. Im beginning to wonder if theres a flaw in the game.
maybe it's one of those games where you can't enter a code until you've found the clue for it, even if you enter the right code. because i've tried everything....
If only I could read Japanese. The words at the bottom of the color code, wonder what it says.
All it keeps saying is "reset" after you press the OK button. I haven't seen it say anything else.

I think I might be on to something. We have 6 colored drawers. Three of the colors are in the pink box. Two of the colors listed in box by default we cant open. One we can.
Leaving us with three colors. 2 of which we can open. One we cant. Does anyone think that makes a difference?

nevermind, now it works.. i forgot to look at the photo first.
The bar on the right is a space button...input the date with the space as it is shown.
I think I hit the button at the end and the drawer just opened but I might have had to reinput the five cause it wouldn't stick or had to keep hitting space at the end....keep trying and it will work.

The snake was by hitting the colors as they come up according to the drawer colors from top to bottom

Rachel, draw the curtains, and you will see the curtain hooks point to colours - just click the feathers on the cat in the order pointed out.
Odd things are happening - I have got all but the top drawer opened now - with help - but have got a rabit showing me a set of baby clothes now.

Ok, my picture I got from the brown drawer was of the Lucky Cat and the numbers 1 4 2 4 5, which doesn't fit in the yellow drawer at all!

@giuse, look at the curtains when closed. Some of the rings (top part) are higher than the rest and aligned with some of the coloured squares on the wall paper above the curtain rail. Click the tiger's feathers in that order.
Spoiler:

However, remember that this game doesn't allow you to progress unless you have actually seen a clue, so you need to close the curtains for it to work. :)
