The Deceit Chronicle
The Deceit Chronicle is another brain teaser and challenging riddle game. "Riddlers have to find the answer for each level. Each level has different ways to solve. Everything in level is clues. No spaces, capital letters, and special character in your answer. When you think you know the password, Click on "Password" button then insert your password. If your answer is correct you will see "Level Complete" page. If not, You will see "Access Denied!". Remember the password of all level you solved. You will need to continue your game. On some level you need to use search engine, Click on "Tool Box" button, enter your keyword, choose your tools it will open on another window for you. Don't Cheat. It takes sooo long to load
it does take a while because the game is in flash, it means you can save your progress unlike other flash riddles :)
It takes far to long loading between each level.
One I can actually play...never got the ones where the answer goes in the address bar....I like the music, too!
Yes, it takes long between the levels, but seems to be a nice game anyway. First levels were easy, but now I'm stuck on lvl 4. I get the letters d,l,o,q,w and that's not useful.

Ok, I got lvl 4 but there is a mistake in the source. The number 2 on the right side should be a number 3.

@Ellie, you must use the letter on the phone in the riddle....not your cell phone
Oh, sorry... maybe no mistake. I used my own cell phone for level 4... should have looked at the phone already provided.

@nokra, do you know how to view the source code? There is a clue. Put your cursor outside of the picture, rightclick and choose "view page source". Then you'll see some numbers in bracets at the end... clicks on the phone.

@nokra, that's what you do all the time in the "change the address bar riddles". You should check the source code for every level, there are often clues to find.

I only have one vowel...can't seem to make a word

@nokra, one vowel is enough. Use an anagram solver online if you need to, like http://anagram-solver.net/

LOL @nokra! I tried to use the circle that way too. Got fjorw then lol. Finally lvl 6 loaded!
And 6 solved. Lol it takes much longer to load than to solve. In lvl 6, use numbers again, but make the codepad look different - 1 in lower left side.

lvl 7 gave me some trouble since I knew the answer, but it didnt work. It's only 3 letters, not 5.
This is certainly no game to rush through. Gives practice in patience lol. Still waiting for 8 to load.

Argh! Went through all of the numbers in lvl 8 but must have missed some. I got 6 letters that isnt the answer (even anagrammed).

I think level 8 is defective. I could solve it after adding a missing E, so the answer could have 7-letters long.

@horst, if you google alchemical symbols and look at images you'll see that those you have are the ones told above: earth wind fire. Then, look at the titel... missing element. Which four elements are there?
Sorry for the wrong info about level 8. I looked up in a wrong page and the number I thought wasn't prime was indeed one. So, 7 prime numbers for 7 letters. I guess there's no mistake in the level after all...

For level 8, I found this link now, that will work fine... but for numbers like 0599, skip the 0 and try 599.

I solved level 12 using my usual PhotoScape program.
Started by placing a translucent sheet of RED and 3 letters became visible (FBD); did the same with GREEN and BLUE and got the 9 letters for the PW.

etc, so a number 20 would be T.

@mkganda, I play in FF and it works quite fine. Well, my comp freezes every 20 seconds or so, but it started doing that yesterday. Need to use ctrl+alt+del to get back in. Besides from that I think you just have to keep refreshing...

@Truus, Pi is a number with LOTS of decimals. You need to find out what numbers you have on the different decimal positions, for example, in position 2937 you have number 5. Then... what letter is that?

@Truus, you need to for example see 10 digits starting at position... 336. Then you'll see the first digit there is 9. That is your number/letter from 336.
I mean, don't enter your numbers in the top box, they will only show where among all the millons of numbers you'll find that combination, but you need to go to the POSITION 336.
