  37. OMG! we're in a timed game and we're expected to check on how many comments have been posted????!!!???? I hope this can be stopped soon. (Sorry to everybody for the double posts) -and after the fact.... ouT! (was refreshing for an answer to Swiss question for at least 5 minutes before noticing more posts) ugh

thank you for another wonderful game even if my mind has meltzed and my clicking finger is inflamed but nothing a nice glass of wine can cure

    ReplyDelete
  39. Wow that was a game! I played on hard mode and needed to peak a lot but I think it was more because of the hand being a hand all the time. I think I have come to rely on rolling my mouse everywhere to find hot spots.

I can't believe I am out with 50 coins and the sneaky coin!

Thank you for all the great hints and spoilers, would still be stuck in there without them!

    ReplyDelete
  40. following along behind everyone most of the game. thanks everyone for the wonderful hints.. especially the location of the yellow and purple gems.

@ Selfdefiant, thank you for a great game. I must admit I prefer when the cursor changes to a little hand on a hot spot :)

So fun and challenging! I am going to play again in the "hard" mode

    ReplyDelete
  41. @SD - Wonderful, exciting, exhilarating & carpal tunnel causing game!!! (did I miss anything - oh yeah - eyeball aching) LOL

  42. Omg! Thanks small tool. I've been struggling and there's a bloody map at the bottom!! What a complete $@%$* !!!! lol Oh well that'll teach me not to have the screen fully open :)

  43. Hello i just caught up and i have also put the gems in the right order (also tried the reverse) but no go.
    And i have 50 coins.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Ohh sorry, i did not read the last comments.
    I am out now.
    Great game again !!

  45. In relation to the earlier comments: Sometimes inanimate objects (such as a corkscrew) dream of becoming something as exotic as chopsticks!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I have only 4 marbles (I got the marble from the kitchen)... I also have 3 gems, a screwdriver and a corkscrew.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Sorry, but this pixel-hunting is not for me.

    Very sorry.

  52. I don't see the clues for the arrows box : all the letters of the song have the same colour.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Selfdefiant, as always, a very good game. They just get better and better. Thank you!
That "note" with the arrow clues was almost impossible to tell between the two different colors of letters. Very sneaky indeed!

One suggestion if I may. There seems to always be confusion in the posts as to which "room" is what "number" according to the map.
How about if the "in-game map" was numbered by you already? Counting rows and columns seems so outdated.
One last thing for hint/help posters, just a tiny peeve of mine, but Lemons are yellow and Limes are green.
I understand about english not being someones 1st language, different countries and cultures and all that, just saying...
After seeing the green lime, I was looking everywhere for a yellow lemon.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I feel so bad, I have been sick for the last few days and really shouldn't have released this while feeling so horrible. I just realized that the normal mode had the hand all of the time and the hard mode should have. It is all fixed up now though.

    ReplyDelete
  55. good game. i really prefer having the cursor change over hotspots, though; saves me from wearing out my mouse buttons.
@bumjelly: i agree with the lemon/lime thing, i get so confused when people talk about the green lemons!

  58. Funny that noone seemed to notice the typo in the little "lanb" song.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Thanks Selfdefiant. As always a great game. Played with the everlasting hand and that's probably the reason I missed some things, also because I didn't notice that sometimes there appears some text, that there was something remarcable.
@ Bumjelly I've numbered my map to make it quicker for my own notes, but it's still time-consuming to be directed from colomn to row and so on.

    ReplyDelete
  60. @Selfdefiant

thank u very much from Germany for this great game! I love escape games but yours are one of the best in the net!

keep it up!!!! we all say want it very much :-)

  61. im only on normal level..ive been on this for about 40 minutes..all ive placed is 2 yellow jewels..cant find any keys anywhere....?????

    ReplyDelete
  62. ive been on this game for about 40minutes...all ive placed is 2 yellow jewels...cant find a key anywhere not opened 1 door yet..??????

    ReplyDelete
  63. @ prodevel - I saw the "lanb" misspelling in the Arrows puzzle too, but I equated it with a directional "North" clue and spent a lot of time trying to figure out the rest of the note thinking North, South, East and West.

I usually see the arrows puzzle clues as directions as in N,S,E,W or Up, Down, Left or Right or as hours on a clock face.
Now it seems that we have to look for very subtle shading of colors as clues as well.

As I said before, these games just get better and better...

    ReplyDelete
  64. out on hard mode. gem color order worked the way it should with the colored numbers. only 48 coins though. Another great one! Thanks SD!

    ReplyDelete
  65. @Selfdefiant I have to ask, what is the difference between the normal and hard level?

I went back in and played the normal level a bit and it seems identical except for the hand on the hot spots.

    Is that the only difference?

    ReplyDelete
  66. I'm not so dumb afterall...I see that the difference was supposed to be the hands changing for easy, and not changing for hard, just like I thought...but it wasn't programmed in at the beginning....lolol
@JoAnn...for me, that is a BIG difference!!!

Sorry you are under the weather SD!!!! feel better soon!!!!!

I'll try it now with the helpful hand....Thanks!!!

    ReplyDelete
  67. Another excellent game SD. Get well soon!

    ReplyDelete
  68. @ Jo-ann: One point is the curser, Hand in hard Every Time ....Not so easyto find hints.... I think :-)

    ReplyDelete
  69. @Nokra and EGWandOUT I was wondering if that was the only difference... if so, then when I played this morning, there was no easy mode! lol

  73. Well, that's "Sneakied" me out nicely for another week.
    Thank you, Selfdefiant =D
Of cousre, I stupidly dove straight into the Hard Mode, thinking: "I'm up for this", then quickly realised that Hard Mode simply means no cursor-change. As I dislike pixel hunts, I dragged my humiliated carcass out of that and played the Normal Mode. Very happily so, as it turns out. =)

The end announcement reminded me that I had found the first gem, haha, so I was wondering if we'll ever get the recognition for finding this second one?
Scanning comments after leaving, to see if anyone needs help, I find that not one of them is made by a cook or a greengrocer. The fruit is a LIME!
I wondered if I'd missed something until I realised the misunderstanding. Of course, I could be wrong entirely, and you all had prior knowledge that it is a lemon in it's posh green lime suit ready for it's fancy dress party???

    ReplyDelete
  74. Ever since doing some updates on my Linux system, I can not seem to play selfdefiant games. I am quite upset :(
Hopefully I can figure it out soon!

    ReplyDelete
  75. @ prodevel:
The "lanb" spelling was the big clue taht made me look for the oether odd letters in that note.

    @ Selfdefiant:
I just read comments on second page and saw that you are not well.
It's sad that our "demand" for constant Sneakies has compelled you to leave your sick bed, and I hope you feel better soon.
You will not lose your grateful fans if you take a break, so please just get well!
By the way, I really liked the music for this, it reminded me of a Muse song, and I need to play all their stuff now to find out which one =S

    AHA!! "Endlessly"! Beautiful song

  83. Where to find things
My convention for the "rooms" is L.C:
L = levels 1-7 from bottom to top like floors in a building
    C = columns 1-9 left to right.
    You start in 1.4
I am neither good enough nor brave enough to try the hard level. It took several hints from the comments for me to get to the end and I was still missing 3 gems and had to go back through the comments again to finish, so thanks to all who went before.
I lost track of my gold coins (but got the sneaky coin without help!)
    1.4: Blue 1
    2.4:
    2.5: Purple 2
    2.6: Diamond above door
3.2: Green jewel in pool (need goggles); yellow diamond in flowers
    3.3: Red 3, black marble
3.4: Place for 3 yellow diamond jewels to get silver key
    3.5: Yellow diamond above door
3.6: BLACK key; green 4; use wrench to remove tap
3.7: Use corkscrew to get orange gem
4.3: Open with white key; orange 6; open box with clue in 4.6 to get black key
    4.4:
    4.6: Crescent GBGPBPGB; black marble
4.7: Wrench; use tap to get sneaky coin and blue key
5.1: White key in medicine chest
5.2: Open with 5 black marbles; pink 7; goggles
    5.3: Black marble
    5.4:
5.5: Open with silver key ; clue LA-MS-ON; knife on table
5.6: Cut lime with knife to get blue gem
    5.7: SD
5.8: Open with blue key; purple gem
5.9: Box with 7 arrows -- use clue from note in 7.4 for gold key
6.3: Use SD to remove picture and get safe asking for 11-digit code! -- open using anagram of letters in 5.5 to get red gem
6.4: Use SD on jammed drawer for black marble
    6.6: Corkscrew
    6.7: Hint (green 3 – blue 9 – pink 7); yellow gem
7.4: Yellow 5, “Mary had a little lamb” note -- some letters are violet rather than blue (e,n,s,w,e,w,s); open color safe using clue in 6.7 to get pink gem
7.5 (kitchen): black marble (behind jar)
7.6: Open using gold key; move picture to find place for colored gems (use colored numbers as highlighted for positions)

  85. The location of the "Clear" button is driving me insane. Every time I make changes to the markings on my map I accidentally hit the clear button instead of the map button.

    ReplyDelete

Great game though! I'm having fun!

  87. I too am having difficulty with my cursor always being a hand. I just thought it was a feature of the (Hard) difficulty.

  92. Thank you @Selfdefiant this is another great game. :)))

  93. yw, small-tool. I played the game after all the original players were out (and I should have been in bed!) and was a little surprised no WT had been posted. I had been tracking my coins on the map and accidentally closed the tab, losing the info.

@selfdefiant -- Once I get all the jewels in these games, I'm so anxious to place them, I forget to check if I've found all the coins -- have you considered giving people a chance to stay in the game and look for the missing coins? I surprised myself by finding 49/50, the best I've ever done! This is a nit -- the best feature of your games (outside the puzzles themselves) is the self-saving feature. TY! TY! TY! TY! TY! TY!
