I went down and I have a purple key to speak with two of them (red and purple)
Another door code is CA2. Talk to everybody more than once to get keys. Use the menu to see how much evidence you have and how many people to question. I picked the cook at the end (just because there wasn't a butler) and got "To be continued" at the end.

@megi -- I've talked to the policeman over and over and still can't go up the stairs.
Several variations.
blue/red box -- he turns into a crying white kitty or a purple kitty that alternates between happy and sad

Ah, talk to lots of characters to right and left over and over and finally got a GREEN box to talk to guard and THEN you can go upstairs.

Not even going to bother. They can translate the opening credits but not the whole game?
in the room where you are locked in after entering, i used code CA (I think) to unlock the door. I have tried "2nd" in the wall code but nothing happens. I tried CA2 there as well, but nothing.
Anyone got an idea?
ohhh i think that "2nd" entered as the wall code unlocked the right side door of the two that are side by side with the picture between them.
It looks like I am now getting the whole story replayed to me with all of the clues that I found.
The red d0od tossed a couple of knives, one stabbing me in the arm apparently. TO BE CONTINUED
