Let's escape from June...

gave lollipop to monster in far right screen, but got nothing in return.

and further left a puzzle I can't figure out

Hmmm not sure what i am doing, and got to figure out them questions?

Exactly the same @ Philomena

ok maybe I won't be escaping from June unless i figure out what i'm doing! lol

I've got (4 divided by ?) X 7

Caught up with you guys, this is a strange one, isn't it?

oops! Make that (?/4)X7

Can anyone figure out the last puzzle

BOX = 3.24.6
J+U+N=?

Agree there are seven snails, other than that, I'm clueless.

The monster has four eyes

No @ Philomena,can not work it out, I thought about the eyes aswel

I even just tried typing it into Google lol

Interesting. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Well, you realize Philomena is the patron saint of lost causes...

Going to give up soon i think..

Another cup of coffee might help?

Where are all the brainiacs?

Spoiler:

98

.... from hacking :)

This just went from the easiest series to the hardest.... LOL

wow. Thanks, GuruOne. But I still don't get it

Thanks GuruOne. So, JUN=56. Wonder why...

This is as much I could go,
If counting letters in the alphabet like this:
1-A 2-Z
3-B 4-Y
5-C 6-X
etc., then BOX matches perfectly.
But applying the same to JUN i was getting 57, NOT 56! Maybe a mistake? Could be from me though...

Yeah, tried counting letters, et al, didn't get anywhere either, but it is 1:20am here and I'm stuffed.... haha

did the same steps got the same results and came here to see what was next, stucked like everything else, except for giving ballon to monster in bag on second screen.

click on middle rectangle between triangle and hexagon and write answer to equation you get an urn.

and out, not to hard just really strange

What the heck did I just play?

Oh well. Every game, etc., as small-tool says:

Little blue-haired character just floats down from the clouds [does anyone else think the hair looks like blue frilly knickers?], and I guessed we have to get her back up, for some reason. Ah! and she wants an umbrella... [?]
[I had to press "skip", though, because the plugin kept crashing my mobile broadband, but I did like the sheep cloud!]

Go left, mostly because that's the only way you can go, but count the snail for later [1].
There's someone yelling for help below the scene.
You have only a balloon in your inventory, so in desperation, try that on the ground below the speech bubble, and inadvertantly rescue a - erm - you tell me!!! A little cream-coloured sack sitting in a piece of burst balloon?????
Anyway, it's given you a lollypop for your trouble, so go left, after noticing two more snails for later [3].

A strange creature with four eyes is clearly crying out for a lollypop, which is handy, so shove that in his face, count two more snails [5], and go left, because he's moved aside for you to pass.

Nothing to see here, so move left again.

A demeted quail asking for a pottery item, and a snail [6]. As you have no pot yet, go left.

Last view, with the last snail [7].
Here are four odd flowers [?].
Out of curiosity, click the single headed flowers to see some questions.
Triangle - snail = question mark.
You know this is 7.
Hexagon - asking the number of eyes on that thing who got the lollypop.
This is 4.
Circle - Box = 3.24.6
J + U + N = ?
Now, if anyone else can fill in what the heck this is about, please do, because when is b=3, o=24 and x=6?
I cheated and looked through comments.
It's 98, and I can't even be bothered to do a spoiler effort, sorry.
Anyway, click on the yellow leaf of the plant that looks like a kite tail with an axe head on the end and enter the answer.
Woah there, horses! I've just clicked the blue part of that plant! Now this is beginning to make more sense, but not much.
You see another equation, circle divided by hexagon [in brackets] times triangle.
So that would be (something/4) x 7.
Working back, that makes 98 divided by 7 [14] times 4 =56. so the circle = 56.
There you go.
[Why?]

Anyway, click the yellow leaf of the plant, enter 98, and press the browny-grey blob next to it.
Hey presto! a flashy-looking urn arrives in your inventory.

No need to check it for Great-Grandma's ashes, because that quail wants it anyway.
Go right and offer it. You'll see.
I expected him to use it to wash that dirt off himself, but he jumps inside it! That's one way of hiding his shame, I suppose?

You have a nice umbrella now [remember the intro?], so go right as far as you can and click it, then the "OKAY" sign and float the little blue-haired thingy back up =)

P.S., I have a little sparrow here that got really excited at the birds in the end tune, so I had to keep the endgame open, haha! [that message is to zoz!]

The tooltip says:
B O X = 3. 24. 6 (take a number of alphabetical)
B = 3 (B = 2 + A = 1 = 3)
O = 24 = X is value of the third letter to put in place a second (X = 24)
X = 6, ie the serial number of the second letter, add the numbers and the third place, the value of D = 15 = 1 +5 = 6
All just to define and
T + U + N = 39 14 +3 = 56
T = 20 + value S = 19 = 39
U = the value N = 14 (swap with N)
N = value U = 21 = 2 +1 = 3

Thank you, Swetla, but I'm afraid I'm still not the slightest bit unconfused yet.
Is that in mathemohecalian, or just plain martian?
I didn't see any "tooltip".
How the heck can:
B = 3 (B = 2 + A = 1 = 3)
??????

B=3 (B=2 + А=1=3),

Прошу извинить,я хочу исправить неточность:
T+U+N = 39+14+3=56

B=2+A?
2+A=1?
1=3?

?????

So, that confusing comment actually meant something like this:
B is B + A = 2 + 1 = 3

But still I don't buy that reasoning. It farfetchedly (is this a word?) fits only if taking TUN... but I still see JUN there...

I didn't play this game until now, and of course had to cheat for the last code.
@Rookwings, to me it seems that the explanation from Swetla involves a great deal of assuming things from the one poor clue we got in the game, and it also only works if it says TUN, and not JUN as it looks to me...
Maybe you did understand what she meant and just not how she got it, but in case you (or anyone else) want some more explanations to that way of solving it:

The clue has three letters as an example (right middle and left letter). To get the values for them you need to do different kind of calculations depending on if its the left, middle or right letter you want the value for:
Left letter: B=3
Middle letter: O=24
Right letter: X=6
Now, how did we get those numbers...?
One possibility (out of many) for B is to take the cardinal number for it in the alphabet (b is number 2 there), and add the number from the letter before (a is number one). This WILL give it a value of 3 indeed.

Middle letter... the O=24.
Count the letters in the alphabet and you will notice that the 24th letter is X. And, in our clue you see that there is an x in the 3rd place. So, the value of the middle letter will be the value of the cardinal number for the right letter in the clue.
Confused yet...?

Right letter: N=6
This can be achieved from taking the cardinal number of the middle letter and adding the two digits (if more than one). For middle letter we have an O which is 15 in the alphabet, so add 1+5=6.

Now, for our code:
Left letter: T (add its value with the value of the letter before = t+s= 20+19=39
Middle letter: take the cardinal number of the right letter (n in this case) = 14
Right letter: take the cardinal number of the middle letter and add the two digits (u in this case)=21=2+1=3

Now, add all three: 39+14+3=56

How it was actually meant to be solved is still not totally clear to me lol.

Now... thying to solve the rest of the game...!?!?!?

I don't get how
circle - (hexagon x triangle) = 98 if the circle answer is 56.
hexagon should be 4 and triangle 7
That makes the circle = 126 if the answer is 98.
126-(4x7)=98

So, it seems Edgar was right after all, and the code changed :D

Hahahaha! All this was for nothing! The author changed the code!!!
And now my way works! :D

So it was a mistake after all?

So, the code is:
hexagon = 4 dots on the hat
triangle = 7 snails

For circle make the alphabet:
a=1, z=2, b=3, y=4, c=5, x= 6 etc... every second letter from the start and every second from the end of the alphabet.
That makes:
J=19
U=12
N=26
19+12+26=57
So, circle = 57

The code:
57-(4x7)=27
Enter 27 and click the button to the right of it to get your urn.

I'm so glad I didn't burn my brain out trying to apply arbitrary rules to the clue.
Maybe the first person who got it bruteforced, then tried to work out how to get the result?
Or they guessed [very lucky]
I'm still absolutely in the dark about the rules for working out this clue.
I like these little games, but I really must stop obsessing about the fact that I cheated to get the umbrella =S
Do I need to get a life?
Life is overrated ;)

Woah, Ellie! that makes more sense!
I think I'll go with that idea!
Thanks, Edgar!!!

Oh yes, it was an urn we got for that, wasn't it.

YW Rookwings. And just for the record... the author not only changed the code, but also the clue.

It was [(circle / hexagon) * triangle]
and now is [circle - (hexagon * triangle)]

Lol @Rookwings! It's a great relief to get an acceptable explanation to things :D
Now I wish I didn't start this game by translating that russian comment and reading the strange solution and trying to understand that one. I didn't open the game until after my brain was all messed up. Maybe it would have been possible to solve it otherwise.
I'm glad the code did change :D

My friends!
J + U + N-is a mistake.
J is not a J.
J = T.
That's right: T + U + N

Yay! I still like these games then! Yippee!
Thanks, you lot =D

@Swetla, I'm sorry, but the code and equation changed and your explanation (and the T) doesn't fit with the answer anymore. To me the letter looks more like a J, and there is a much simpler explanantion using a J, which works now... after the game changed.
Thank you anyway to giving an explanation to the previous code!

Ellie 6/28/11 2:37 PM

So, the code is:
hexagon = 4 dots on the hat
triangle = 7 snails

For circle make the alphabet:
a=1, z=2, b=3, y=4, c=5, x= 6 etc... every second letter from the start and every second from the end of the alphabet.
That makes:
J=19
U=12
N=26
19+12+26=57
So, circle = 57

The code:
57-(4x7)=27
Enter 27 and click the button to the right of it to get your urn.
------------------
I see a mathematical error,
57 - (4x8) = 27 (??????????)
I think that 57 - (4x8) = 29 !!!!!!

Swetla,
I don't think it was a real mathematical error, but more a kind of a typo.
Anyway the method is correct because the answer 29 does work in the code pad.

Yes @Swetla, you're right! Thank you for pointing that out! It wasn´t THAT late in the evening here, but close to midnight made me type 27 instead of 29 (and yes, st was right too... a typo, since I did write it correct to escape the game).

The last part of my comment from 6/28/11 2:37 PM should be:
The code:
57-(4x7)=29
Enter 29 and click the button to the right of it to get your urn.

Thank you!

I was sitting here trying to figure out how on Earth I was reading the math so incorrectly that I couldn't even see the division symbol. @__@

then I read further down to realize that the math had changed in the game lol :P

All well, I wouldn't have figured out the back and forth alphabet numbering system on my own anyway. So thanks, @Edgar for explaining it!

I'm still glad I cheated 'O'
