Hi samkings - joining you

past the dog, now stuck, hotspot on the shovel but cant pick it up

out, and now a 3 hour story at the end... lol

how did you get past the dog?

no mute button is annoying - not too fond of those games

there's a spider by the dialog box in the screen with the instruments, put it in the empty coffee cuand scare the waitress, then take the sandwich

coffee cup*
didn't notice the lack of mute button as my speakers are off at this time of morning lol

pop - finally saw that spider - its hidden in the big thing for script

I tried to use the cell phone on the manhole 10 times, but now it works?
Out with money and a spider in my coffee?

after that easy

ty anyway samkings - pop did it before I saw your help

hi everyone!

wow. that was a weird ass segue at the end.

Stick and spider were hidden under dialog box. After I knew that, it was easy.

Its a bit long winded at the end what was that about.

wow that was short...

I hate reading a book when I'm playing a game. I don't need a three paragraph thesis on why a cafe doesn't meet the expectations of a customer.

Too annoying to continue.

Liked the game but I thought that they would never shut up. Yak, Yak, Yak,...

Loads very slowly here.

Finaly, I'am in and you are already out. I'm going to do this alone then.

Short game, long ending.

I'm posting as I pay this, so I could well get stuck, but to help anyone through as far as me, hover your mouse over everywhere, even the dialogue box, because things you can interact with sometimes lurk under/behind it.
If you spend a few moments exploring you will see what you can interact with.
You'll quickly work out that you need to give that dog something else to do, and to your left is a handy sandwich, beginning to curl at the edges [dogs seem to prefer them this way] while that awkward customer who ordered it sits in protest.
To get possession of the sandwich you need, firstly, something to reach the coin under the vending machine in the contest scene, which is in the tree and bus stop view [behind the greyness of the dialogue box].
The view with the phone has another coin. Just click the phone.
With two coins you can buy a coffee from the vending machine, and then click to drink it.
Go back to the contest scene and use the empty cup on the spider hiding behind the dialogue box.
She looks like the type who'd be scared of spiders, so place the spider cup on her table and "see" her run. The sandwich is yours!

Use the sandwich on the right arrow to give it to the dog and hop over the fence.
Here is an open manhole cover which is too dark to enter.
The up arrow isn't usable yet, so give me a moment to have a think and just say that I really like games with a story, and don't understand people who cry "too much dialogue", except when it is in a language they don't understand.
This story isn't what I'd call gripping, but it's nice to have a narrative reason for being here!

Oh, well that was easy.
I noticed the green object in my inventory and found out it was a mobile phone [cell phone for americans].
Use the phone on the manhole entrance as a light to see by and watch the ending.... to be continued....
This is like an interactive comic strip, and I enjoyed taking part.
Thank you, MegiPoland and Pacthesis.

Rookwings,
There's a difference between playing live or later in peace and quiet.
When playing live it's kind of a rush hour and you don't wanna be interrupted by all kind of text interludes. But when playing later it can be nice to play a game with a real storyline.
I guess it's a different kind of approach or state of mind.

@ small-tool:
So, when the game is live, it's just a race between all of you?
And, if so, isn't everyone disabled by the same text interludes?
I still think it must be the non-english speaking thing. ;)

i cant figure out what you do to go down the manhole :(
