       Anonymous  7/20/11, 3:48 AM

Hi Lottie. Nope I'm still stuck too.

look at the shapes of the books in middlerow of right bookshelf!

Use star, triangle and hexagon hint on safe. 3rd room

thank you ann and Drisana
the room is totally creepy...

       Anonymous  7/20/11, 3:51 AM

@Ann: I don't get it. And I don't see 3 letters above the books. even enlarged my screen, but still nothing.

Second room, looking for hint for the shapes ...

v r at the same place @catqueen

deer Catqueen
look at the hollow shape above the book

Catqueen: look at the middlerow of books, then turn your head to the right, then you see the letters in a vertical line!

Only missing triangle clue, it's in first room but where?

now stuck with symbols and roman numerals...

I hope the room after walk down a long stair is the last room...

       Anonymous  7/20/11, 3:55 AM

@Lottie: Thanks got it now!

@catqueen, don't look at the books, but the empty spaces above the books, they make 3 letters

now totally stuck with the 4digit code ...anyone any idea?

triangle clue, 1st room left bookcasa, last row above books ;)

got it :)

Found star hint, but missing hint for triangle and hexagon

       Anonymous  7/20/11, 3:57 AM

@Truus, thank you too. In second room now.

tnx! new what is was but doesn't work without zooming in once.

@catqueen... the space above the books from letters..jez tilt ur head to the left

Thx Drisana, got it!

going in and out in different rooms like a lunatic guy...

hmm, can't get the code for room 2 to work..

stiil stuck in third room, dont find any hints for the digits...?:(((

Hexagon is on wall, 2nd room, between doors.
I tried to click switches according to the door (IE III IV III II I I ) nothing so far...

@truus look exactly the length from the arrows...

       Anonymous  7/20/11, 4:02 AM

@Truus: do you have the 3 hints? Star, triangle and hexagon? Dial the knob in that order.

aah, thanks @ann!

There is one hint, a + on a door with a moon with a strange sign below. That plus is probably some of the solution (room 3, so every number is 3 plus circle or 3 plus square etc?

       Anonymous  7/20/11, 4:05 AM

Does anyone have a clue about the 4 digit safe? Walking back and forward like crazy :)

4digits? there is a hint at the moon door, when ou close the door in third room. Hmm ...but i dont understand... this one is a hard nut!

just clicked the switch in room 3 and a clue on the "moon" door appeared

digit code, there is a hint on a door. with a black/green draw. Trying it with draws above code. Don't know how to explain but first # may be 8 ??
(there is a square around the cross, "draw the square" mentally around the draw on door, it gives 8 ??)

o.k. i give up, i must wait, till one of you escaper-geniusses will have solution...:)

       Anonymous  7/20/11, 4:14 AM

Just staring at safe and hint I draw on paper. Gosh I'm so lost.

are the numbers on the door referring to the rooms somehow?

Found triangle and hexagon, thx for your hints! Worked, 3rd room now.

@ Drisana
I get the "8" you've mentioned for #1
but how about the circle in #2 & #4?

Tried every number starting with 8 and ending with 4 (just some ideas...) but no...

cant figure out the roman code...

Im still here and get headace, 4 rooms 4 digits? the sign with the plus on the door, could it be stairs?

and out!
:)

Humm.. that was a bad idea i think.. i tried every number starting with 8 and no luck :)
I'm going to eat, so good luck ;)

April, how ?? food will wait ;)

       Anonymous  7/20/11, 4:25 AM

I wish the designer gave us one more clue about safe, cause I have NO idea what to do with the roman numbers or the hint on the door.
Hoping someone gets a giant POP here. ;)

@ April
how did you solve the 4-digit code?
Anything related to the "lll lV" sth?
I'm trying to add line on the pic on the moon door
but just got the 8 (#1)

@April, save us please!

april, tell us, how did you get the numbers...!!!

April give us a hint

you have tu push the switches in the order 3 4 3 2 1 1 you have to think it over to set them so you can always pass to the next room. Then a new door appear, i think it was in the IV room...

I can not get there with an empty stomach, I come back later ;)

????? switches? fourth room? you mean the 4digit - safe? April, i dont get it, more hints please:))

@April
but there will be no door open after "III & IV" button rae pressed

@April: I don't understand your hint, tried s. th. like that in the meanwhile (moving around and pushing the switches), but no new door appeared.

Can you explain it more detailed?

       Anonymous  7/20/11, 4:33 AM

@April: The safe has 4 digits so how to push the switches please?

this game is really fun - so ihow did you maage clicking 3. switch, 4. switch and back in third room for 3. switch? you can go through the wall? Lol

having the same problem as @Lottie, when I start with #3 and go to #4, I can't go back to room 3, unless I click twice

or do we have to start in room 1?

you pres switch no 3, go to the room with switch 4 - push it, go back to the room with the switch no 3 (use the ladder so you dont have to push the same switch two times) press the no 3 switch, move to the next room with switch no 2 push it (you need to set it before you start this to the position with closed door to the first room, so you open them now) then move to the first room with the books, pres the switch two time (close door open door), go out and down a find a new door

It seems as if April would leave us as prisoners in walls!

       Anonymous  7/20/11, 4:39 AM

@Truus
I've try this with sequence 34"4"3211
nothing & no new door...
I don't want to left this game untill tomorrow ....

@April, you are genius, but where is the LADDER please?

no, starting in room 1 doesn't make sense either, just 1 click in 4 will not bring us back to 3

       Anonymous  7/20/11, 4:40 AM

SPOILER:

The clue on the leftmost windowsill (closest to the door) gives us the letters for the combination for the safe between the bookcases (which paradoxical enough is Swedish for "wrong").

SPfOIeLElR

what ladder??

I think ladder would appear after solving safe, where we are stuck!

found a clue on one of the windows in room 3, looking for the ladder, lol

GOD
another hint for the 4-digit code is on the window
(left side of the sundoor)(ceiling(?) on 2nd window)

Sorry, April! I thought, I had done this, but I'll try it again.

@April, do we need to find the 4 digit code first?
If so, how??

       Anonymous  7/20/11, 4:49 AM

April can you give us the numbers for the safe in a spoiler? Really getting a headache from this game but refuse to give up.

in room 3, on the second window from the left (on the right side of the door with numbers) there's a circle, now from you just need to add all the green part together to get the numbers for the circle and do the same with the square (on the window in the fourth room).

SP5O8I9L6ER

ah, o.k. when you put the green shapes from the hints together (Square and plus) it is a 5...so first number should be a five ...

No way from III to IV when switching one time. Where is the ladder?????

jippieee!!!

the numbers are 8 5 6 9 but i dont know the order anymore...

Yes a ladder!!! woohooo!!
Thanks @aridza

       Anonymous  7/20/11, 4:54 AM

@Aridza: thank you so much. I can use the ladder now.

Thanks@aridza
but I'm not really know how to get the 8 & 9
can you show the method or pictures?

@april, @aridza god bless you...:)))

yippie, out!!
Well, I never would have found that 4-digit code.
Well done @April and @aridza

I still don't understand how to combine the hints for the 4-digit-code, nevertheless, thx for the spoiler! I'm afraid, I'm tooooo blonde for this game and have to wait for a new Selfdefiant ;-)

Well done !!
Out too now ;)

on the top of second window from the right in the forth room (right of the code box) you see a square with 2 green lines (one on top and the other on the bottom)you then add all the green that you got from the other 2 pictures with the + and the X, you then use the green again from the + and the X and add them to the green lines from the circle picture (on the second window from the left in the third room

I'm sorry I'm not sure how I can show you a picture of the 8 and the 9, only thing I can't say is to add all the green lines and it makes the numbers

@aridza
I'm making it but I haven't get the "X"green line clue..please help

can not can't

@aridza
you mean there is no clue for X?

finally out. Very tricky getting to all the rooms and having room #1 open at the last. Thanks for all the spoilers.

I closed the game but the clues for X and + were on a door and the other one on the floor (I thinkonce you are in room 4, turn around and do a close up of the floor at the begining of the hallway, in room 3 and 4, play with the button to open and close the door

Hm, must say that I didn't like this one very much! Too much of a pixel hunt, my right mouse finger hurts now! Anyway, thanx @aridza and @april for the hints. I must also say that I haven't found the clue for the X, but I figured it out, must look like a 4...

out with help --- I didn't see all of the shape clues. Thanks all!!

Still can't get into the room I after pressing the II-safe. could i get some help?

ok, got it;)

Only things that stumped me were the letters I needed to find and two of the shape clues. The shape clues are really hard to spot.

You can find the letters to the safe when you look at the third row of the right bookcase and tilt your head to the right. The tops of the books help form letters.

The shape clues are hard to spot against the gray backdrop. They are found in rooms 3 and 4.

In room 3, there are two. 1 on the door and 1 on the side of the second window from the left (I think on the wall to your right if you're facing the switch). In room 4 are the other two. 1 in the middle window at the top and the other right inside the doorway on the hallway floor between rooms 3 and 4.

As I said, they're hard to spot.

After that trying to flip the switches in order took a bit of thought, but it was easier than I thought. Just work the rooms in order from top to bottom.

ROOM 1 and FIRST SAFE (ABC)
Turn left
Click on the bottom of the left window and see a clue about the third shelf of the right bookcase
Turn right
Zoom on the right bookcase
See the third shelf has books that are an odd mix of high and low
Tilt your head to the right and look for letters in the empty space over the books
Zoom on Safe I and enter the letters
SPOILERFELSPOILER
To see the code, click here
Click the Safe I handle to open it and click the I button to open the Sun Door
Turn around and enter room 2

Room 2 and SECOND SAFE (star, triangle, hexagon)
Turn around in room 2 so you can see the open sun door and the closed moon door
There is a spot on the wall between them
Here is the HEXAGON CLUE
Back up and go back into room 1
Zoom on the left bookcase
Now zoom on the line of short books on the bottom shelf
Here is the TRIANGLE CLUE
Back up and zoom on the right bookcase
Click on the wall to the right of the right bookcase in line with the 3rd shelf
Here is the STAR CLUE
Turn around and enter room 2
Enter turn the safe handle clockwise and counterclockwise to open it
SPOILER!
The star clue says to turn the safe handle clockwise to the 8 o'clock position. Keeping the handle there, click it counterclockwise to the 6 o'clock position. Finally, click it clockwise to about the 11 o'clock position.
The arrows will disappear when you have it correct
Open the safe and press the II button to open the moon door
Turn around and go to room 3

Room 3
Zoom on the III button on the back wall
Press it to open the sun door
Turn around and go into Room 4

Room 4 and the SAFE IV (green shapes)
In room 4, click on the code panel by the blank door
It has a series of combined shapes – circle, X, +, and square
Turn right
Click the top of the second window from the right to see the SQUARE CLUE
Turn right
Take one step toward the hall to room 3
Click the floor to see the X CLUE (thanks, aridza!)
Enter room 3
Turn around and zoom on the spot on the moon door
Here is the + CLUE
Turn around and press switch to reopen the sun door
Turn right
Click the middle of the left frame around the second window from the left
Here is the CIRCLE CLUE (thanks again, aridza!)
Turn right
Enter room 4 and enter the number code

SPOILERS!
You may need paper for this. Each shape has a black and green lines below it -- pay attention to the green lines. The first shapes in the code box is a square with a + in it. The green lines associated with the square shape are 2 horizontal lines on the top and bottom. The lines associated with the + are something like a sideways S. If you add the top and bottom lines to the + shape, you can see a 5. Click here for an image of just the first number
Here are all the numbers: Numbers Solution
SPOILER5896SPOILER

This opens up a LADDER to room 2
Turn around and go to room 3

Room 3 and Roman Numerals Code
In room 3, there are Roman numerals on the closed door: 343211
These correspond to the switches in the room. You need to press the switches in that order (you will need to use the ladder)
If you have it correct, the Roman numeral door in room 3 opens and you can leave!

Solution:
Go to room 3 and press the switch. This closes the door to room 4. Go to room 2 and climb down to room 4. Press the room 4 switch. You can go directly to room 3. Press the room 3 button for the second time. Go to 2 and press the switch. You can now go to 1. Press the I switch 2 times.

really a nice game other than some of the clues being hard to spot. :)

CONCRETE TOWER WALK-THROUGH
The true spoilers in this game are where the clues are hidden!
I include these here, and put the puzzle solutions separately.
There is no inventory.

Room I
You face 2 bookcases with a SAFE #1 in the middle.
The safe needs a 3-letter code.
On either side are 4 windows, and on the 3rd is sun door #1.

Left from first view (bookcase on your right)
Look on the sill of the left window.
See a drawing. It shows the first wall with a red arrow on the middle shelf of the right bookcase.
Zoom on the shelf and see letter clue.
See curved line to right and zoom on it to see star clue.
Zoom on left bookshelf.
Zoom again on the bottom shelf, above the short books on the left to see triangle clue.

Now open the safe, using the letter clue.
You have found Switch I
Press the button and the green dot moves from the moon to the sun.
When you turn around, the door is now open.
Go down the hall.

Room II
This room has a safe with star, a triangle, and a hexagon.
It has a dial that has 8 positions and turns either clockwise or counter-clockwise.
To the left of the safe is unmarked door #1
Turn around and see moon door #1
In the center of the wall is a small dot.
Zoom in to see hexagon clue.

You have now seen all the clues needed to open the safe, but will probably need to look at them again.
Open the safe to find Switch II.
Press the button and turn around.
The hallway has been replaced by sun door #2 and the moon door has opened to a stairway.
Go down the stairs.

Room III
You see a door with Roman numerals on it and Switch III.
Turn around and see sun door #3.
Press Switch III.
Turn around and see moon door #2 and a hall (where the sun door was).
Zoom on bottom of the moon door and see Plus Clue.
Go up hall

Room IV
See unmarked door #2, a 4-button panel and switch IV.

Zoom on the panel.
You need 4 numbers, clued by
-plus in square
-X on circle
-X in square
-plus in circle
You need 3 more clues (for the circle, the square, and the X).

Turn right and find square clue on top of 3rd window.
Turn right and click hallway.
Zoom on near floor of hall to see X clue
Go back to room III and turn right.
Zoom on the left side of the 2nd window to see circle clue.

Return to Room IV.
Zoom on the panel and enter the code from the combined clues.

You can go up a ladder between rooms IV and II!

The last puzzle is to solve the roman numerals door!
Press the door numbers in order, go back down to Room III and out the door.
Congratulations!

Final Exit
The roman numerals refer to the switches.
You need to hit the switches in this order:
III-IV-III-II-I-I.

When you hit a switch, ALL the moon/sun doors move.

So you can't do this until the ladder is available.
The rooms are connected:
I-sun-II-moon-III-sun-IV-ladder-II

So, go to room III and press switch III.
The moon doors are open and the sun doors are closed.
Go upstairs to room II, go down the ladder to room IV.
Press switch IV (sun open/moon closed).
Go to room III and press switch III (moon open/sun closed).
Go upstairs to room II and press switch II (sun open/moon closed)
Go into room I and press switch I twice.
Now, go back to room III, and the roman numeral door is open to a balcony.

That last bit was such a maze!!!! i was going in circles for a very long time! rolf!

The clues are easy to find. If you look at the text just under the game you will see the author's comment...

"I made a map of this tower."

With a link to a 3D type map with little red circles.

@Kitkatfox -- I didn't see your walkthrough. You must have posted yours after I started working on mine! This game certainly deserves 2 walkthroughs, however.

@Martin :D That map is a great find! Wonder if it was there last night when everyone was struggling through!

@Lottie: Thanks for the picture of the numbers.

@PuzzledinCA no problem. Every game deserves at least two/three/ten walkthroughs (EGDALTWs)

Absolutely brilliant!
Seeing signs...

Uncanny employment of hex color blending...the green markings are practically invisible...genius!
