Use the black 'V' in the keyhole of the blue box to get the pattern for the gold key.
i have many times i guess my game is broke thanks for helping maybe i did something out of order
Strange...I will try again and see what happens this time. It just occurred to me that maybe I clicked on the lamp to see the pattern.
Nope, I can see it after removing the V from the keyhole. Remember that you have to drag the 3 pieces, one by one, in the same order to put the gold key together.
@hbear, after you blacken the V-bird, make sure you click it to really get it into your inventory. Then you should be able to use it in the lock of the small blue box. View it again to see the white pattern on it.
WALKTHROUGH
Take the WATER JUG from the desk by the left window.
Zoom on the vase with flowers and get KEY PART #1 from the soil.
Zoom on the lower right corner of the right window and click the curtains to find a KEY.
Click the right lamp by the bed to find KEY PART #2.
Zoom on the top drawer right of bed and use the key to open.
Get a BLUE BOX.
Zoom on the painting above the bed.
Click to take the white V-SHAPED BIRD in the middle of the picture.
Turn right.
Zoom on the right leg of the couch and find a BIG PART OF A KEY.
Zoom in the fire and use the water jug to put the fire out.
Take a piece of wood with coal on the top.
Zoom on the right corner of the wooden board in front of the fire place.
Click to lift it and find KEY PART #3.
Open the V-shaped bird from inventory.
Use the wood with coal on it to blacken.
Click the Grey V to get it back into the inventory (don’t just close with the X).
Click the blue box and use the grey V on the lock.
Click to take the V back.
Open the V to see it has a white pattern… same as the small key parts you found.
Open the big part of a key from the inventory and add the three smaller parts in the correct order (like shown on the grey V).
Click here to see an image of the finished key.
Click the key to get it back to the inventory (don’t just close with the x).
Use the key to open the blue box and get a DOOR KEY.
Use the door key on the door to escape.
