I got a sponge, cleaned the water and plugged something in. Now I keep dying. Hmmm. What to try next?

I clicked on the green weights that the guy on the rope is balancing, you have to do it quickly alternating sides otherwise he will fall to his death. After that I clicked one of those guys swinging back and forth and he threw his sword on the giant barrel, which filled up the pool underneath.
I feel morbid saying it's kind of cute to see how you can kill the stick people.
Ah, MissBrasil...I clicked the blocks, too...but then I clicked the stick he was holding and he fell.
Thank, Miss Brasil. I did the quick clicking with the green blocks and he was safe. But then I made the mistake of clicking his stick and he fell.
correction, click on the swords while they are in the air so one of them will hit the cork in the giant barrel.
Hi Amanda, you have to fill up the pool first, then it turns into a trampoline so the guy will be safe when he falls.

Not sure how or what I did different.
Hmm when I try to clean the water I get electrocuted.
Oops. If you click on the left trapeze guy after filling up the pool/trampoline...the pool/trampoline does NOT save him from the spikes.
(he must have been heavier than the tight-rope walker) :-)

Still not able to figure out the sponge/plug part. How did you do it, Prufrock?
Hi everyone! What do you do after the the tightrope guy is on the trampoline?
I click on the right trapeze guy when not holding knife), he fell on the sponge then was back on the trapeze
MissBrasil...be sure to click on the sponge at the end of the stick.
Then the man will clean up the water.
Do not click the man or the water.
And, then you can have the right trapeze guy fall on the sponge...although, after he did, and I heard a bell, he was back up on the swing.

I clicked beside the the left trapeze guy and he threw his knife to cut off the tight-rope...and it fell beside the lion-tamer.
Then, click the tamer to pick up the rope.
Then, click the lion to make the lion bow.
Now...I don't know...because I must not be done.
I am going to take a break from this one...too frustrating. Thanks and have fun!
Ah, after the left trapeze guy throws his knife to cut off the rope...you can click him and he will land safely on the trampoline.
And now, it says I've won.
So...ok.
i did what Amanda said but nothing more i managed to do...blood blood blood xD

Ok...I think this is how I did it:
First, clicked the green blocks off the tight-roper's stick (one on each side, at a time, so to keep him balanced).
Then, clicked the right sword when it was up in the air and it was then thrown to pop the cork and fill up the pool/trap.
Clicked the tight-roper's stick to make him fall on the trampoline.
Clicked the sponge on the ground. Man walks over and takes it with his cane/stick.
Clicked the sponge on the end of the stick (so to clean the water).
Clicked man to plug the plug into the wall.
Clicked right trapeze man (when he was NOT holding the sword) to get him to fall on the sponge.
Clicked beside the left trapeze man as he was swinging back with the sword (perhaps I clicked his sword...did NOT click him, though) to get him to throw his sword and cut off the tight-rope.
Clicked lion tamer guy to pick up the rope.
Clicked the lion.
Clicked the left trapeze guy so he would jump to the trampoline.
Lol, those are blocks of Jello (thus the J) and the pool fills with lime jello.
So many new games for me to play today! Just half an hour before preparing lunch, so I'm going in...
