ok, stuck in a minoto? put lever in spaceship but not sure what to do now

You can take one of the star, after that it's easy.

@Yvon Not sure how I managed it, went through my inventory clicking at the console and finally something happened and could place the lever

Jeepers...im sorry..i got so frustrated..i just kept highlighting everything and clicking everything in every scene.
I loved the hair walking away after cutting it.. Only in Minoto :)
go back left...about 1 or 2 scenes from where you progressed. There is a flashing star toward the bottom in the middle.
I'm attempting a walkthrough if no one else is..

ok I started again, you need to shoot the sum with the gun to make 'solar gun' (lol) then shoot the rocks and the star is behind one of then, but it is actually a coin.
The lever is in the spaceship all the way to the right...

I've only got 3 scenes, the opening scene, the rock scene and the sparkling sun scene. Not one of them have a flashing star :( BUG?

I am so stuck after getting the lever. Can't seem to do anything with the comb, pipe, fishbowl, lever, scissors, or hoe.
think i used scissors first on place left of the buttons. After that i could place the lever.
And out!! Sheesh, that was NOT a nice Minoto!!
@Jo - I clicked all over the control board in front of comb-over Dude, and eventually the screw came out and I could put the lever there.

Walkthrough
Anchor the meteor that's flying by. Be quick!
go right 2 times and absorb the suns rays in your solar powered gun. Now shoot the rocks out of your way!
Too bad the bigger one is a beast. Give your alien the chisel. Don't forget to grab the shinny star!
Click the ground and out comes a gun! Put the bullet in it and shoot out a hole.
Click the happy block and place it in its grave. Bury it by clicking the alien.
Click him again and he goes away with 2011 in his place.
Click to go in the ship. Unscrew the bolt with the screw driver and take the ladder.
Put the wheel on the tank in that room and give the fishy air. Be a meany and take his bowl while he is away.
Put the coin in the slot in front of comb over dude.
Use scissors on screw, go right to get the lever you put in the screw's hole.
Make sure comb over dude can breath when he goes outside so give him the fish bowl. (Hope that doesn't smell too bad)
Use the ladder for him to get out of the ship.
Give the comb over dude the hoe so he can have a good time with the dirt :)
Click happy block, and comb over dude gets a crazy hair style that needs a comb to straighten it out.
Since his hair is being a pain, cut it.
Little man runs off and when you click the comb over dude's head you have settles on a new planet :)

2011: A Space Oddity

A spaceguy is floating in the air
He isn’t concerned, he does not care
That there is a comet flying by
It’s flying real high up in the sky
But we have an anchor in our kit
I guess that we might as well use it
And so we take aim
And we throw
And we hitch a ride. Away we go!
Now there are some rocks
Floating in the sky
They are blocking
Our way forward
So we’ll find the Sun
To charge our Ray Gun
And we’ll blast those monster rocks
And watch them pulverize.
But the biggest rock
In our path is block-
Ing the space ship
From it’s space trip.
Not to worry though,
There’s a hammer so
We’ll use it with the chisel
To reveal a monolith!
Before we travel on
There’s one more thing we must do
There’s a very shiny star
So we pluck it and find that it’s
Really a coin. Who knew?
So now we’re on our way
On this most unusual day
Seems our ship has got a gun
Where our giant bullet fits and it
Can blast a big hole, too!
The monolith fits perfectly,
Nestled in the hole.
It’s easy enough to bury
So now no one will know
Where the black slab has gone.
Now the alien moves on,
Leaving numbers in the sky
Two thousand eleven, oh my,
That decade flew right by!
A spaceship is approaching us see
It hovers like there’s no gravity
Perhaps we should take a peek inside
To see what’s happening there.
A fishbowl has a fish floating inside
But we make a big bubble he can ride
So we can take the bowl. And you’ll see
The bowl will be transformed.
Now we will use the screwdriver so handily
To take the pipe apart.
Then remove the pipe that now is free
To find it’s destiny.
Moving right along we’ll run into
Uncle Combover there
Sitting in his spaceship Captain’s chair
Acting just like he owns the place!
Now the fun begins!
Go to the next scene where
You will see a lever
Take that lever
And then return
To the ship’s console
Where the scissors will be
Oh so handy, wait and see!
Use them to take the screw
From the dashboard and then
The lever goes in
Where the screw has been.
Now go get the coin
And put it in the slot
This really thickens the plot!
Uncle Combover will
Take a spacewalk now
In his fishbowl hat
And the ladder pipe
Will come in
Very handy in getting him down from the ship
With the pick he’ll unearth
Mr. Monolith
Who takes issue with
Uncle Combover’s hair
So the scissors and comb can be
Put to good use right there.

So disappointed with these anymore. I guess one person can only come up with so many good ideas. I greatly dislike the full inventory at the beginning and basically clicking an item and clicking a scene for process of elimination.
There never was a great demand for a lot of skill in Minoto games, but there used to be some skill and critical thinking involved. Now it's "click until something happens." I hope they improve soon.

So I agree, and think this must be my favourite minoto game of all time now, haha.
To anyone having trouble playing this - it helps if you've seen the films to know what you are sort of doing here.

If you know the stories that Minoto is dismantling you will realise that most of the inventory use is based mostly on logic, with a smattering of imagination. [This time,ultimately, using the monolith to create a new world for the hair people to exist in.]
I love the new-look-go-faster-striped Minoto games as much as the old style.
