Found and used fork, tweezers and key but not much further forward. Have assorted clues but not a clue how to proceed...LOL

got the colour code for a key cut dow the bat over the bed now stuck
Click the wall next to table it says "the colour of the wall here is different". What do we do about it? I have one empty slot left. That should be the key to exit the locked door? Anyone can help?

why is there a circle on the plate with the hearts spades diamonds and clubs

can't see a circle on the plate. just the circle on the note in cb, which gives the order of hearts, spades, etc...

There is a circle on the plate, and I think it is the starting point for the order of the symbols. Hi, by the way! Been lurking here for a while and I'm stuck at the same place (bat and green round knob)...
I saved my game and now if I load it, I get a screen with the bat that I can´t get rid.

@bigtank: I think it is not from the top, but it starts with the circle, so it is circle, heart, diammonds, club, heart, spade
Totally lost. I have all the hints but no idea where to input them to get the bat.

I think it might be a language barrier, that we need to name the things in the book marked by the symbols and this might be the code for the 'fridge'.

that's the sequence but we need to know what each of these stands for
@abigail: have you solved the color code? If not: there are symbols on the bed and they have numbers on them from 1-8. Look at the eyes of the pumpkins in the picture and then you get a color order. Press the colored buttons in the pink device beside the carved pumpkin in that order.
Thats what I thought escapism but nothing happens when I press the buttons.
The safe says: "Letters or numbers"
@abigail: maybe you forgot to press 'reset' before typing in the colors? Just in case, the color order is

Stuck with bat and green button. Tried to follow the heart-diamond-club-heart-spade pattern on doors but don't work
I had previously tried the reset and ok button several times with that very color code. It was a bug, worked on the first shot after restarting.

hi stuck-comunity ;o) I'm stuck, too... same place... the book and the signs, could it be, that the names of the animals in japanese, in the order of the hint on the table and then only the first letters should be the pw for the fridge? oh my... can't explain this rubbish in my head at the moment, hope you know, what i mean...
If it takes numbers, it could be the number of feet each animal has... it's been done before

not very proud of myself: I cheated and got out. but I don't understand the code anyways. it's a number code (7 digits).

For the number code,
Heart=ク, which is "9" in Japanese.
Club=百獣/ひゃくじゅう, ひゃく is "100" and じゅう is "10", so that ひゃくじゅう is "110".
Diamond=二, which means "2".
Spade=バチ/ハチ and ハチ is "8".
So that, the code is 9211098.
we need to decode from the book :
teddy bear= (く)まちゃん -> heart = く (9);
king of all animals = (ひゃくじゅう)の王 -> club = ひゃくじゅ (110);
bunny= バ(ニ)ーガール -> diamond = ニ(2)
bee = ミツ（ハチ） -> Spade = ハチ(8)

Ok, but one question to this puzzle:
NF, in what way does the book tell WHAT to take from the words?
teddy -> hearts
lion -> clubs
bunny -> diamonds
bee -> spades
This is clear, as the symbols appear where the animals are.
But you put some ( ) around some parts, so it seems there was an indication of what to take from the whole words?

@arbeitslooser... I dont believe for one minute that the people on this site are impolite. Rather, I would suggest that because there was a sudden rush of games, they simply havent been back and seen the explanation given by @Rakuyuki and @NF.
@arbeitslooser: I'm hardly posting anything, because mostly I benefit of the post of others. when I discover or solve something, I am at least 5-10 minutes too late...and obviously you are! I have never read anything from you except complaints about others!

lol...oh, too funny!!!!! I was trying to guess a word associated with Halloween, including *Halloween*, as the code to open the coffin...hahahaha!!! Some of my brilliant selections...*well they made sense to me ;)*...were: Halloween...perhaps a bit too obvious, Bat, Dracula, Frankenstein, Ghost and on and on :) And then, with grateful thanks for the translation of the book, NF and Rakuyuki saved all of us :D
I love Rain-Lens' games and I am hoping one of these days they will offer an English translation. Thank you again, NF and Rakuyuki, for explaining the book and why the code was a number, AND, how you arrived at that number :)
I would just like to state, for the record, that I appreciate Yalcin and all he does for the poor, addicted escapers that we are...lol ;) It has been my privilege to escape with some of the nicest people I know, but at the end of the day, they are, after all, only games :)

Haven't figured out the logic behind it, but apparently the writing in the book is somehow supposed to clue you in that the code for the fridge is
